  • Exploring an abandoned house. There seemed to be something strange about a door or something behind a door in this house that pushed back on me viciously as I tried to push in on it. And it was not latched.

    • @cookieskoon2028
      @cookieskoon2028 5 лет назад

      Other than the likely squatter behind the door, it's probably due to the odd layout. The house is built like a circle of rooms with two central staircases, which can throw a person's sense of security and flow off. Especially if they live alone. Full of people, say, five or six residents, you'd not notice as much.

    beautiful old farm house... the second kitchen was what was known as a 'summer kitchen' usually its an area seperated from the main living area of the house that could easily be opened up to keep the rest of the house cool when it was time to do the late summer canning. :)

  • @TheSWolfe

    Something had you spooked in this house, I can tell ... more than just that recalcitrant door. You wasted no time in getting out of there, but get through it you did, just the same. It was strange from the get-go--just your coming in the front door seemed to set off a low resonant humming sound. You're a brave one, you are.

  • @ReadyForThe80s
    @ReadyForThe80s 10 лет назад +3

    Perhaps the resistance from the door was because part of the door had swelled from humidity. During the summer months, my parents' oak front door is like that so much so that it has to be really pushed a couple of times before it'll open. The top half is fine and moves freely whereas the lower part is where the struggle is.
    I am wondering if you would consider making a video of tips for any urban explorers including such things are precautions you take, items you bring along, any signs to be aware of before going into a building - or completely avoiding one, etc. Anything you have learned from your 30 years of exploring.
    :)

    I wonder if it is commonplace, as it was with our family growing up, to close off portions of the home during the winter months and heat a smaller living area? One can only imagine how bitterly cold it must get up in Canada? Not to mention the longer winter seasons. I'm a fifty year old man and that door pushback scenario made me want to choose flight over fight! lol... I may have to watch this one again. Creepy! ~oO(♪)Oo~

    That's the most scared you've sounded & the most scared I was for you, of all the videos I've seen so far.
    This one really did seem to have an unusual layout. Almost as though the rooms really weren't very well thought out when it was built.
    The wood paneling upstairs was gorgeous!
    I just can't get used to main bathrooms (in particular) with no mirrors or medicine cabinets. No visible nail or screw holes, either.
    I'm sure enjoying these places you find. But so far, nothing yet beats the glass-enclosed cat lady's house for me. What a beauty! Still, lots more to watch yet, so keep on trexing! 😋😄

      ***** I felt it and had been to the house a couple of times before. My great great grandfather killed his brother at that house. On the day it came home with me I had taken 3 photos while my best friend was literally pulling me across the yard. The first photo was normal. The 2nd and 3rd showed a tombstone with a face on it and a demon looking out from behind a tree. Even since then I've had several miraculous saves from potentially deadly accidents. I even had a dream a few years ago when the man killed at that house told me to take back the family name and I'd be more famous than I ever dreamed possible. He didn't say rich-he said famous. My fame started when I added the Taylor to my name. I was inside the house once with a male friend and as he was about to open a door I had a major panic attack. It was a boarded up closet that led to an old basement, but I freaked out. I had the chance to buy the place about 10 years ago but didn't have the money. No one lives there for more than a few years.

    It was probably just furniture or a piece of carpet pushing against the door or the door was on a heavy spring/ counter weight type auto close device. How ever it does look like it was a very nice house in its day.

    • @metronova94
      @metronova94 7 лет назад

      o0oNaturalOneo0o that's a very strong possibility; furniture or carpet pushing against the door. However, we don't know if that door led to a closet or a basement or someplace else.

    I have to say if I had found this house I would be at the local clerks or treasurer's office getting info on who owns it. I want that tub but most of all those heaters that were left behind can be life savers. 3 years ago we lost our electricity for a total of 5 days with one 2 hour break on the third day. Our family was the only one with heat in a 5 block area. We had removed one of those heaters and replaced it with a furnace but brought it back in when power was lost.

    Tiki you've got balls, I wouldn't go into an abandoned house by myself for fear of encountering the living and non living. How do you do it? I also almost got my Real Estate license but could never pass the State test and now I'm grateful. I'm too chicken to go into homes that are "abandoned" or where the energy of the previous family has left or is lingering with memories.

      You know it! Her "testicles" are bigger than all of Canada!! I've watched all these other "urban explorers" - males - and they don't have *half* the guts this gal does! One guy is running and ducking behind trees, then other cuts the tour short because a spider web is two or three feet away...she just bull mooses right through all of it for us. Woman power, guys! lol. One of the other explorers (male) from Oklahoma, references TikiTrex in one of his videos...he didn't go in the house but said she probably would LMAO Yeah she would ya little coward so get out of the way and let a lady through while you hide in the bushes! I just knew it !!! You did run into some hauntings. I guess my little message to you made more sense than I thought it did. Hey Tiki, have you gotten orbs appearing in some of those house photo's. Try taking the time to snap a bunch of digital photo's at each property, and search for orbs after you do the movie part. Then zoom into those orbs. Many times you will get a perfectly clear face. Then try to connect that face with a past owner of the house. Old local churches will often have photo albums that go back several hundred years. Eventually you will hit a connection, and actually get a name for the face. Now comes the brave part. Yes, go back and try speaking the name of the face in the orb, next to the spot where the orb was photographed, at exactly the same time of day that the photo was taken. I would suggest that you read up on how to do that safely first. You yourself have experienced the fact that although they a immaterial or etheric, or they are factually composed of pure charge, charge can uncouple or re-couple with mass or mass charge systems of energy. That is why souls can manipulate material object to a limit. They will have much more strength on low humidity clear days, when the atmospheric charge is much higher. They will be weak on rainy days, but all bets are off if there are thunderheads present. If you read up on Dr. Wilhelm Reich's works about ORGONE ENERGY. It will all make sense. Best of luck Tiki, you are on a more interesting path than most would ever realize !!!
    Best Regards,
    Alexander

    This could be a hired hands house. Farmers used to put their hired hands and their families in a home to work for them on the farm.

    You can tell the floors and staircase have been restored. I noticed the glass door knobs in which they were most popular in the 1920s to 1930s so to me looks like that's about the time frame when this farm house was built.

    Seems weird that the second floor was in a lot better condition than the ground level area
