I’m pregnant and they found out that I have ovarian cysts which my PA said it’s normal. If I’m not mistaken I feel I have cysts when I’m not pregnant and I thought I never get pregnant but thanks GOD I got pregnant ❤️❤️❤️

Skinny Minnie please check your Iodine levels. Research "iodine and ovarian cysts". First test with Iodine from drug store, look up "skin patch test". Research both of those on internet, you may find you're answers there.

2yrs ago I had a surgery for a 9cm dermoid cyst which caused ovarian torsions. Another surgery last year for a cyst tucked into the muscle holding up my uterus. Now I starting to feel a similar pain to the one last year. I'm TERRIFIED.

I received a call from my doctor and they told me I have a small cyst on the left ovary and it is not dangerous. I am nervous as I never had this before. I realized something was wrong when my period was a month long with blood clots and it was very heavy. I experienced extreme pain on the left side if my pelvis and I cried so much. @@nikeenguyen Hi there. Hope you are doing fine. I had a hemorrhagic cyst on my left ovary too diagnosed in 2019. My symptoms were continuous bleeding but little in the form of drops for 14 days. I had no pain though. I did my usg and it wasn't there anymore after 3 months. Hemorrhagic cysts are generally functional cysts. They don't require any treatment unless it's large. Wish you good health.

You'll be good. Have faith. A couple of years ago my 14 year old daughter had 2 tennis ball size cysts in her ovaries. She had a bikini line surgery to remove them.
Thank god she is better now, 17 yrs old. She was monitored for years after the surgery. Now we just need to keep an eye on her.

My wife has 2 ovarian cysts. She was never informed as to what kind of cysts these are, however she has some mild discomfort from them and she has a hard time sleeping on her left side in particular. I was a day from dying from a ovarian cyst i was in severe pain n had severe constipation n sickness i had no sleep in the hospital for a week. The hospital i was at left me days on end early morning late nights fasting from day 1 wondering if i was getting the surgery it got to day 3 when i was allowed to eat i could only eat a fruit pot out of everything i had 😤😭 day 4 came i was in the surgery gown fasting again still on the IV painkillers i ended up with morphine i was only 16 n yet still kept me waiting. The doctor told me Thursday that if I'm still in pain after taking the medicine he gave me for 3 days, that I might have an ovarian cyst and would have to go the hospital and get more tests. I'm only 16 and kinda freaking out especially since it could be linked to PCOS if I do have one. Are ovarian cyst and pcos the same? Cuz i have both... I knew i had a ovarian cyst when i conduct an mri to see my spinal cord with a slipped disc... Amd there i saw my ovaries with little glowing circles. I read the result and i really had ovarian cyst... For pcos, i experiencing high level of male hormones in my body, i have a thin beard, hairy legs even though i did not shave them, and longer feet size... My body structure is of a man's body than a female's.... Do women with PCOS experience random cramping. And by random I mean they are not on their period. Cause I feel cramping all the time randomly but it’s not heavy cramps. I wanna know if other women with PCOS experiencing this. ?

It could be pcos since pcos can cause irregular periods
I was diagnosed with Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome and i’m generally so nervous. I’m only 12 and don’t plan on have any children soon. The only problem is that they make you gain weight and it’s making me very self conscious.
Hey ! Same here but i'm older than you. The reason for gaining weight it's not the actual cyst but the hormonal imbalance that caused the cyst to appear in the first place. That's why AFTER dealing with the cyst the doctor prescribes contraceptives to regulate your hormones and prevent ovarian cyst in the future. You're going to be fine. I'm waiting for mine to burst by itself.

Don’t worry too much just have the dr. Check it every 6 months, and if it gets big he surgically removed it. I have one as well. Keep track of the sizes. You’ll be ok.

I have irregular periods but after testing, i have normal hormones, and they did an ultrasound to show mild ovarian cyst. My PCP said they are very common in girls my age and harmless however she didnt offer any solution to remove them. She said birth control can regulate my period but no solution for cysts.
That’s kinda crazy because according to both of my OBGYNs and my primary care doctors (both back at home and on my college campus) all say that birth control is the only way to prevent ovarian cyst because the only thing that ever causes ovarian cyst is ovulation in of itself. So basically as long as you’re able ovulate, you’re putting yourself at risk for an ovarian cyst, so the only way to prevent it is to stop ovulation.

Today I had been diagnosed with ovarian cysts. I presented with intense shoulder pain that had me laying down unable to do much and I was crying hoping it would stop. I felt mild pain in abdomen but the whole focus was in my left shoulder. I've had this shoulder pain before but it bounces from left to my right every so often. I thought it was joint problems. Its sometimes my left shoulder or other times my right. I do have neck problems too. I also had an ultrasound done a little ways later and they didnt see any. I wasn't emergent so it was like 3 weeks before I got an ultrasound despite seeing my doctor that day and when I did (and most of my pain was on the left) I only had a cyst on the right (there was fluid though and I've had a hemorrhagic cyst before, so it is possible I stopped doing things that made it worse, so maybe it was there and healed on its own?). I think the human body is just kinda strange. I really hated having to have all those tests and waiting; when I had the first one I actually nearly fainted and the doctor was like you're going to ultrasound cause you have a cyst and that will prove it and that was it. It resolved pretty quickly then as it wasn't on the follow up ultrasound. I'm thinking my doctor whipping out the machine themselves and doing one on the spot would be great and possibly solve my confusion.
