i mean the biggest problem is its main competitor is league of legends itself. Why would anyone watch wild rift when lol has higher level of competition and years of players/teams to build a brand around
Tbh Wildrift ain't popular amongst other players thus making it non-existent as a streaming genre. Most of League Pc players doesn't even know that Wildrift exists the same with other game players. They need more advertisements like Raid Shadow Legends and make a name. Otherwise they'll lose millions into Tournaments that people doesn't even know happening. Even I was oblivious about the fact that I didn't know Worlds was happening.
Fr, I don't think riot is actually trying to promote wildrift anymore. They might actually just abandon it after HOK release the 2 games just have the same company. Another thing to note is valorant mobile which is probably coming next year. They basically are killing wildrift slowly, notice the gacha's recently? They just want the money now and will probably run after it
Worse. This happen after: 1. Many fans asking for it 2. Tencent, basically their big boss, told them to do that 3. Underestimating what mobile market is Also they're quite arrogant at that time thinking PC is better than mobile
@@kronos4806 sure it is but by not making a mobile version, it has proven to be a very bad decision. Look at Mobile Legends, they're literally copy pasting league since day 1 and look how big they're now. It also too big that no lawsuit can stop them. No matter how big is the fine, they will just treat it as "price for licensing" or "slap on the wrist that's as expensive as a pocket change".
Literally, had a friend come from ml wanting to try out wildrift and the team bullied them for accidentally using ml terms for things like "core" for jungler
@@scoutsleftnut13 same thing when my friend tried blitz sup and started roaming with the jungler and leaving the adc and got flamed until he deleted it. he didn't know that supports babysit their adcs in wild unlike ml when they always roam and help the whole team.

It's because Riot took so damn long to release Wild Rift. It should have been their priority to make Wild Rift back then when Vainglory proved that MOBA in a mobile phone is possible in 2014. That gave ML so much time to dominate the SEA market. ML might not be famous in the west but with how much they dominate SEA it's not really an issue for them. Wild Rift on the other hand needs the SEA market. They can't go to India because of the ban on Chinese owned video games, they can't go to the west because they are more of a PC and console market and China is difficult market too because of Honor of Kings. They have no place to go but SEA and all they are going to get now are scraps.
@Yi McShin also mobile legends is a lot more casual friendly than wildrift and majority of mobile gamers are casual so thats already a huge advantage for ML
Time is not an issue here, Vain Glory came first before MLBB, CSGO vame first before Valorant, PUBG came first before Fortnite, but the all of the latter are more popular
@@CuteAssTiger they don't care about esports. They don't care about putting on a good broadcast except as far as their esports are an advertisement for their games. Honestly, comparing 62lk for world's to other minor esports that's alright, they just wanted it to be something it isn't so instead of working to grow it they are binning it
@@Drakshl Yeah that's exactly what happened with Heroes of the Storm. Thing has it's place, but because it doesn't have the biggest spot, they prefer to cut it
Riot did little to no ads for wild rift, ping issues especially at launch and only few events being held. No matter how good a game actually is, with these kind of issues, people would stop playing the game.
Nah, the ads were everywhere when wr launched. If i remember they made a big advertisement board in Philippines for wild rift and asked a famous Indonesian Content creator to promote it. Not really sure who was it but i think it was Soloz(?)
The biggest problem is the community itself. The amount of gatekeeping players is crazy, i know alot of MLBB players and content creators trying to migrate to WR but the community just bullied the hell out of them.
True. Well they all thought that this game will be the next big thing and will dominate SEA more than MLBB but look at what happened to Wildrift now its just sad to see a great game be neglected by a big server such as SEA server
Really wanted lol but got no pc then WR came and everyone inside WR would just say go back to ML cuz u not good enough It was really tiring just seeing it over and over again

My friend found out about ML when it was like season 3 and I tried it to play with them. All I think about that is heck when will riot games release a phone version when it can work. Many years have passed after that really late they deserved this L for penetrating the market just when it's already way dominated.
yeah. i downloaded wr last year. but my mlbb still there eventhough im not playing it anymore. but at this point i rather losing my wr account than my mlbb
marketing is not the problem, the problem is they're too late to release wild rift. ML is huge because they're first on the market. it's been there way before wild rift released. people already spent tons of money on ML skins they will never quit that game unless the game is dead/shutdown.
I'm sorry but Wild rift used to be so good and fun... But now everything is too "serious" But now mlbb is so much much better and they even managed to create unique gameplay for the characters without plagiarism
I still think wildrift isnt really competing with other moba but is competing with Riot's line of games, most in the west is on console and pc but its a different matter for SEA. One of the very few reasons why MLBB dominated over SEA, coz of its early development, Riot in the other hand didnt see anything in mobile games way back now that we think about it. Players of League Pc wont see any reason to give time in wr if they already playing a version of it that's much more comfortable to them.
Riot is too busy in filing lawsuits instead of launching the game in every region. Though mlbb is clearly copying but it's focusing on stuffs that makes a game grow and giving little to no attention to such lawsuits.
There might be some copy like here and then but it's not like before when it was just basically a copy paste with different graphics. The people who is saying that it's still a copycat clearly doesn't play both games and just look at the previous lawsuit and then just think it's still like that
Hey, lets just focus on how Riot gonna play this ok?? I mean even MLBB is a copycat, but their marketing strategy is good and their are trying to make the esport grow. Unlike WR who abandon their esport scene up to 3rd party, MLBB in their early esport trying to get as many talent as possible, marketing their game offline and online, even when they always got labeled "copycat", but they just keep going and look now. I am SEA player, and just look at the streaming views between WR and MLBB in youtube, the differents i so far. I watch a WR youtuber called lexandrom and nostalgian gaming who is an official riftstar from riot, and their view at most only touch 9K by far for lexandrom and 1,2K for nostalgian gaming. And you know how much for MLBB streamer??? It's about 1,2M views/Video. Even youtuber called Kurohiko who play WR for the video, only have 12K views/video at most.
This reminds me of what happened to Nokia phone, they refuse to adopt touch screens and when Apple and Samsung released full touch screen phones Nokia tried to complete but users are no longer interested because Apple and Samsung already took the market. If only they released Wild Rift sooner
they should just ignore mobile and focus on the pc game. Most players dont care about mobile so they shouldnt bother trying to get into a saturated market
@@kronos4806You're either stupid or don't understand the mobile game market. A developer can easily stand to make BILLIONS each year with a good mobile product, so of course they'd care enough about it.
Well wild rift isn't even released yet in many regions while mlbb is grabbing it pretty quickly i mean they even have feature to provide regional languages and its with huge variety i knew mlbb would cross that easily
I played Wildrift specially I'm also one of the players included in the beta test.. I like the graphics and UI interface. but there are things it lacks that's why it can't compete with mlbb They should have these: 1. Fast phase game, damn, no one uses or plays in phone for longer period of time. it can overheat the phone. playing games in different matches for short time is better. more interaction. 2. Personalized Profile pic. where you can upload your pic all you want. 3. Beginner Friendly Game where they provide builds and paths an item book for the roles. 4. Emotes.. for better interaction. Don't make it the same from pc mechanics. it is not worth it because using phones prefer fast phased games and immediate mechanics... specially potato phones.. More phones can carry the data, More players can access. Thus, bigger market.. Change it all to fast phase.
3 and 4 are already there, 1 is kinda true. Unless there's massive skill gap between two teams, games tend to go 15-20 mins. Custom profile pics would be really nice too. I played ML since its release and quit some time around wildrift's beta cause i thought "this game feels and looks way better than ML, surely people will migrate over". Boy was i wrong. Me though, I can't go back to ML, just can't stand the artwork after getting used to WR
I don't think that's not the case at all for 15-20 mins per game because Arena of Valor also has the same time per game and even longer sometimes but still hit 2 millions last AIC and APL finals. It's just because RIOT is too late
@@gelosyguat1211 I won't call it trash, it's just more complicated than ml. In ml, you can just spam your skill in any order you want on any hero you want and you can get a good result. In wild rift, first you have to read the 2 page long explanation of the hero's passive and how the skill combination works. For example, zed vs hayabusa. Using zed, you have to think of the proper combo to make sure you don't run out of energy and deal the most damage. With hayabusa? You throw shuriken and ult, like that's all, and you just use the second skill to escape sometimes. I think this is why most beginners from ML can't really get into the game. Other than having a hard time playing the game, they are also harassed by the elite Wild rift player.
I'm not surprised... I mean, not a lot of people in western care so much about Mobile games. Not even a eSports event could help that. It make total sense to run thos event in Southeast Asia where the core audience love to see (cause they really into that Mobile Games) I don't care at all about the eSport Schtick. Seeing these on occasion has intrigued me So no, Wild Rift as a game especially in its eSport era isn't going away. The marketing and the game content will continue endlessly
Want me to show some funfact in my region bro?? I am from SEA region... Indonesia. Guest what.. we dont have any official esport from RIOT, and sadly... The one who hold the tournament is the player itself which is not having any sponsorship from riot.. they dont give any sponsorship to the local tournament, aaaaand the one who hold the tournament is the official riftstar (talent/streamer) from wildrift organitation... They stated that riot, doesn't give any sponsorship to the tournament. WoW right??
I hope this doesn't mean that they will cut servers off for WILD RIFT in the future. I first played Wild Rift because I don't own a PC so when I heard LOL was playable on my Tablet I tried it out
The only thing that killed wildrift was the massive gatekeeping of the lol players... I am an ML player with no experience on LoL so when i tried WR because i wanted to learn they started trashtalking like "Go back to ML" ...... The community should have accepted those new players from ML who got curious to try the game instead of shoving them away
their downfall was cause by themself. Imagine lots of people wanna help the wildrift community here in ph by creating weekly/monthly tournaments from their own pocket but riot banned it because they have this rules that every wildrift tournaments need's riot approval first. How can riot expect the game to grow when they are the enemy of the game itself. Btw riot marketing staff s*cks no ads and support for streamers who support the game
Back then Wild rift community was everywhere talking down on mlbb players or new players, content creators trying out the game... That aged like fine milk
For a very good reason. Dota players were towards League players like how League players were towards ML players. It's not an impossible reality for ML players to also be like that towards the population of another upcoming game in the future, if any.
@@Grayewick Lol I found it funny because you are talking about the game's player's not the game itself, The game's we're not hating each other it was the community. Understand that?
As an ML player, I do understand your point that they copied league, but from my eyes I feel they are making a huge effort to keep players in their game. Just look at the recent hero trailers and more importantly updates which are improving the game.
I play ML religiously, joined semi-pro team, and then i still cant see your point. Moonton never make huge effort. The esports are cringe to watch (if you turn your volume up), half-hearted production, meta always boring, and just buff/nerf something if they had planned skin to release, lacks of niche, which indicates by no hero with interesting mechanics, every fighter/assasins/mage feels the same, even have a same combo. The reason why ML still on the market is because people just dont want to re-learn a thing by playing new game. And sadly Mobile market always like this. Kinda suck, but it is what it is. tbh, I bet Valorant Mobile will be the next failure because mobile player doesnt want to move on from CODM or PUBGM.

No ads about Wild Rift anymore. And even if there's any, its getting more difficult to promote WR. MLBB has been around for 6 years and people spent too much timr & money on their acc. Mobile moba esports definitely does have potential if u look at hok league in China. Problem with wr is that the game fails to differentiate itself from its pc version. I think its fine to use summoners rift as the map but they should make it so that the gameplay feels a lot different from lol
I love Wild Rift because I can casually play from my couch and not sweat at my computer, but why would Riot even WANT to market this as an eSports title? It’s literally just League but dumbed down to the simplest level. Not everything has to have a competitive scene. That’s literally what League is there for. Wild Rift is just League’s casual little brother, not a competitor in the eSports scene.
Why bother? Because that's precisely the way League became as big as it is now. League's esports is exactly what brings attention to the game, and what makes players keep coming back. Heck, even Mobile Legends got super popular because of their esports. You are severely underestimating how important the esports scene is.
Main issue was that game is painfully slow for a mobile title and have little to non collabs with ips and creators outside the scene to promote the game. I wont be suprised if wild rift will die before 2025 especially after riot parent company tencent decided to rerelease arena of valor as honor of kings with having the same updates and balance patches as cn version released on the same day.
this... before wild rift it was the tencent game to challenge mlbb in asia unfortunately for them mlbb is already on its 5th season and had no signs of being toppled over by other mobile moba aov released in asia, eu, and na while mlbb focused solely on asia because they know that mobile games are popular in asia compared to the west who scoffs at mobile gaming and prefer their console and pc games
@@ryanjoseph.51 and Moonton also planning releasing ML in the CN Community. They may not beat HoK but they can expect some small percentage will play ML and have a CN Player in the tournament
Why the fck everyone always talking about honor of king its just aov with better version meanwhile mobile legend also has his china version its just same scenario
as a wild rift player myself i played the game because of league but only to find out that wild rift isnt exactly just a mobile version of lol. some items from the official pc game are missing and even in summoners rift feels miniature compared to the pc version. not only that but while playing wild rift, unlike mobile legends, wild rift gameplay feels really rigid and not really enough to facilitate the epic plays made by the playerbase. that makes it harder to apply tricks learnt in lol like spacing or kiting bcus the game cannot keep up with you.

I remembered when someone said that wr will take over mlbb, then earlier this year i just found out they shutting down tournament outside of asia region while mlbb just held they 4th world cup tour. That's sad tbh
Mobile Legends have been at it a lot longer. They pretty much took everyone who would be good. Riot waited too long to go mobile they are literally the last company to do, so not to mention their game isn't that well rated personally. I play both, and MLBB did it way better if I'm being honest
Tencent buys Mobile Legends and just stops caring about Wild Rift eSports. Tencent care which if it’s bought companies makes money as long as it ends up in Tencent‘s pockets.
@xvFanta they have market though its just people don't want anything to do with mobile because of the immature thinking " mobile isn't a gaming device" or " phones are for emergency than for gaming" people are stupid, let's just face it
Maybe release the game globally first and then move to e sports?? Rito is soooo greedy that they couldn't wait for people to actually get to know about wild rift and make a big move
On its last leg when I wasn't even aware it'd been born. I've been playing LoL since season 2 and watching the pro scene since around then as well and don't remember seeing any cross promotion toward wild rift leagues. Like others are saying though, I have a computer, I have little need to play mobile league nor be invested in its pro scene.
This is simply expected, mobile esports outside of Asia isn't really a big thing. MLBB is the same deal, it only has a big scene in Asia. Pretty much, don't expect much of mobile games outside of Asia. Can't deny the fact that MLBB has been going stronger then WR, most likely because they've been around longer and the game is 'simpler' but that's another story.
@raynalldoprimeNo? I'm from SEA and most people don't have problems here with the LGBTQ community, even in the MOBA scene. There's literally trans people in ML esports, whose pronouns that they wish to have are respected and used.
Riot just doesnt know how to catch the attention of mobile players.....mobile legends is corny asf but they have more game modes, skin collabs, casual friendly, and its more simple....these are the things that attracts the mobile playerbase
That's why majority of the players of MLBB are children, it attracted the wrong crowd if u ask me, on solo Q the game is basically nerve-wracking and not playable until you LITERALLY reach the highest rank. I've been playing it for 5 years and it improved immensely, but the playerbase is the main issue with this game

The biggest problem was they didn't market at right like I looked it all up and was so confused because I couldn't find anything on when the times would be and what the date was that they would be streaming it
Well the problem with Wildrift is: 1st: the gatekeepers 2nd: the game can be laggy and consumes a lot of memory for low end phones and in Asia only few can afford High end phones 3rd: riot thought that because of league popularity, wild rift will be popular, and just hire celebrities to promote the game, but without hiring popular streamer/gamers which will hype their game and mostly their viewers are playing what game their idols are playing, youll get what you paid for... Sorry for my bad english 4th: only international games, not much tournament for countries 5th: the game has so much mechanics for a phone game, gamers in phone wants a chill and less intense match that can be played in less than 25-20 mins 6th: its dark and not vibrant Thats all I can say of its downfall
@@Yoriichi_Sengoku lets just say gate keepers are the guys that played the game since league "PC" and switch to Wild rift "CP", they always think they are the real OG, and they are keeping the game away from those that want to switch and try the game, some MLBB Players are always bullied in game especially here in PH.... And thats one reason why Wild Rift lose to MLBB in PH, many choose to stick to MLBB because even though the game is toxic we are not keeping the game away to those who want to try.
I think it's more on their marketing strategies. I heard that Riot strategy is "they don't compete on the number one" just like what they did on their situation on dota2.
It probably wouldnt be if they had released on consoles as well like they said they would. Considering this, they are probably no longer doing that I guess.
I think Marcus has deep flaws but tries to do what he thinks is right. He tried to work with someone from the undercity like his boss and it backfired horribly. He's clearly feeling guilty for what happened to Grayson. And he hates Silco. But he's stuck in this situation. He's a complex character who's torn by his contradictions.
In hindsight it appears as if they're setting it up to fail from the beginning.. I always love to watch wildrift preseason/post season/teaser and whatever because the Dev always seem passionate of the game they're creating but if riot doesn't want to inject higher incentive for people to stream the game then it can't be helped. There's even a handy option to connect to twitch from the wildrift app itself (although I never tried it myself) Although besides esport I think the game is progressing quite well

But ARM architecture is,becoming more and more powerful most mobile phones have an ARM chip and recently apple MacBooks air and pro are ARM based now, which is interesting development in ARM and I wonder how mobiles will improve following this. Mobiles will become more powerful and touchscreen gaming will only become better. They're trying so hard to be lol itself, so it comes as no surprise that barely anyone finds any difference in watching the mobile and the PC vers. maybe if they give something, that differs wildrift from competitors like Ml then maybe , just maybe they will get some recognition. that's just my take on the matter, WR is a very nice game in my opinion, very clean and kinda well polished, it would be sad if the game aint having the same recognition with it's other brothers
The problem with riot is they didn't make too much effort for wildrift. They didn't do any SEA or regional competition and they just think that wildrift will be more popular than MLBB. While MLBB established a well foothold in asia especially SEA
mlbb became very successful because Moonton knew how to win the hearts of ASEAN people, they made heroes inspired by ASEAN culture, such as Kadita, the queen of the south coast from Indonesia, then there was Lapu Lapu from Philippines, Badang the iron arms from Malaysia, and many more
That's a good point. I think they also did great when they start doing collabs with popular franchise like Kung Fu Panda, Jujutsu Kaisen, and Saint Seiya. Instead of declining over the years, their community grew quickly. I didn't even care about the MLBB esport competition before but their constant dominance in South East Asia got me hooked.
You know why this game is dead? it's not that it's league on mobile, but the ridiculous amount of issues since release. Lags happens often, no dodge feature, bots on ranked matchmaking, imbalanced matchmaking(one game you could play with silver as plat, and the next game you play with diamond), toxic community, and more. They took way too long to solve the issue and as a result by the 2nd month of the game release, i have to wait for 5-13 minute for a single ranked game in SEA emerald game. And that's not all, the match quality is barely enjoyable at best.
What 5-13 min then you are not wild rift player lol literally lol in mine it tooks only 2 min nice joke dude and I playing this game since beta and I am a diamond player so think about it in diamond lobby it only took 2 min and I enjoy this game so much. They started the eSports way too early when the game is highly unbalanced and too little champion, maybe in a year or two when WR is well refined and more complete then the eSports will truely shine
I think that: 1. They should advertise the games in the client when your in wild rift 2. Give rewards for watching them(like league) 3.hold it because it's a new game so it takes us time to comprehend that wild rift E sports exists
As a teenager at SEA, wildrift is a edgelord game. Players from lolpc can't welcome mlbb players to the game at the beta phase because some mlbb players forcing to apply ml's meta to the game which is a huge disgrace for lol players and knowing they're playing mL their entire life is a huge disrespect. So what might some of them feel is they will just not try the game because of the toxic community. But now the beta's over and the community quite became at ease. Riot still can run this game by simply just making bunch of ads that is catchy and more quality than mL's. They've done it before from lux's face and don't overuse jinx because she's not a great face ngL. The tutorial seems to be great now.
Yeah bro still remember when i play the beta phase, some of the community was toxic af, i keep away from playing rank and stay at iron because i want to learn the mechanic, i have experience dota and ml and want to try wr, but when i try champion and make mistake they would say, "ml kid mf stay away from wr". I dont understand how can people with high rank can matchup with newbie. Matchmaking succ.
Very wrong. They are just too close minded. Instead learning from ML players they throw them away because it is an insult to them. So it's an Ego issue. LOL and wildrift players think ML players can't put thier ideas because it is a different game. Very wrong move. You could have welcome them with their ideas to see if it can be done in Wildrift and the community would exchange of ideas how to play Wildrift.
Wdym riot already won they're milking mlbb for money while they're game in PC is getting bigger and bigger community and that's not only the popular game they have
@@ChonksChickenPotPie For us, yes it is quite the large amount of money, but for Moonton, it is not an a issue for them and they can avoid copyright from Riot and continue with their business, without taking MLBB down from the app store, which to the point its a big win for them everytime they got lawsuit from Riot and avoid the copyright, which they always plan to, and now it sound mockery for Riot Games
If this game would have just released on consoles by now that community would have grown a lot and that's the issue it's not hitting all the markets that they wanted it to go to
If I would give analogy to current situation right now, it will be like fire. When it was just tiny ember, they just ignored it. Doesn't take any step to control or counter it. Even if they did, it just half-assed effort. Now that fire has widespread turning into ocean of flame.
The biggest problem is riot's lack of interest in wild rift. Lol pc is famous because riot genuinely cares about it and they want to make it a big sport. If riot starts genuinely caring about wild rift and start doing marketing and bring its servers to the countries where mobile games are popular then wild would be a banger and most popular mobile moba. Because it's gameplay is amazing but the problem is no reach and obviously riot hasn't worked harder to improve wild rift. Some examples are it's matchmaking, esports scene and so on. Riot should seriously start caring for lol wild rift. I love the gameplay it's best moba. Just improve the other client stuffs.
As part of the aging playerbase for league (10+ years but I literally just turned 26) I don't personally see a lot of people transitioning to play league on mobile. The hype for worlds/championships just isn't the same for me.
I think that is the right move for Riot is to allow 3rd party organizations to organized small tournaments first then from those small tournaments a regional tournaments will be made .keep repeating that and hopefully we could end up in world tournament in the future. The Active players in Wildrift is doing good so what Riot should do is to be consistent in the game updates and patches.
Brah there's just soo many problem regarding the game, limited item that suit certain hero, more bugs, unnecessary buff or nerf and lacking event. It just become repetitive at this moment. Like even the server code 1000018 still isn't fix💀
It's funny reading some of the comments and replies. People are still hellbent on gatekeeping the game from players, specially ones coming from mlbb. I guess the memes were actually real about the community being toxic af
This game is still fucking on beta. I am still waiting to play this game from South Asia. Yes, apparently SEA and SA are different. A massive market is always neglected. 🤦
They we're so late in the mobile gaming ecosystem/esports. MLBB came out in the right time at the right place, and Riot failed to compete early on. With the game pretty much flourishing in SEA (especially PH, where I am from), I doubt it will slow down. Although, Riot have finally made moves to finally show that they notice SEA in LoL PC and realize the market support for Valorant in the region, I doubt it will pick up. At this point, I will rather recommend Riot to pull the plug on Wildrift altogether and build something from the ground up that isn't League. I know it is a stretch, but atleast through this, LoL PC shouldn't be hurt aswell.
i mean the biggest problem is its main competitor is league of legends itself.
They just want the money now and will probably run after it

the biggest problem of wild rift is most people in their community are gate keepers
They have no place to go but SEA and all they are going to get now are scraps.
what an insight
@Yi McShin that also the reason why league pc dominate moba's market
@Yi McShin also mobile legends is a lot more casual friendly than wildrift and majority of mobile gamers are casual so thats already a huge advantage for ML
Time is not an issue here, Vain Glory came first before MLBB, CSGO vame first before Valorant, PUBG came first before Fortnite, but the all of the latter are more popular

Idk man, in my place, the ads were massive and repetitive to the point i skipped them.

So true lmao. Its funny how the ML streamers and youtubers started to promote Wildrift, then suddenly went back to ML cuz of so few clicks and views.

I played Wildrift specially I'm also one of the players included in the beta test.. I like the graphics and UI interface. but there are things it lacks that's why it can't compete with mlbb
They should have these:

Man so you want a medium sized map to be fast paced? Interesting..... so baron and elder spawns after 9mins hmm interesting

I'm from EU and I consider mobile gaming a thing and have no problem with it, sad to see almost all Western countries can't see mobile gaming a thing
Then again I'm a pc player too so it's not surprising that console and pc is the main audience for gaming for the west
*south east Asia
@raynalldoprimeNo? I'm from SEA and most people don't have problems here with the LGBTQ community, even in the MOBA scene. There's literally trans people in ML esports, whose pronouns that they wish to have are respected and used.
@raynaldo arlen k.eman Might not be a right example, but isn't Veenus and Wise from Blacklist🏳️🌈?
@raynalldoprimeVeenus is literally called Queen.
@raynalldoprime Venus is literally called the Queen
Does that mean normal League will get some of the effort they put into rift back?
Riot just doesnt know how to catch the attention of mobile players.....mobile legends is corny asf but they have more game modes, skin collabs, casual friendly, and its more simple....these are the things that attracts the mobile playerbase
That's why majority of the players of MLBB are children, it attracted the wrong crowd if u ask me, on solo Q the game is basically nerve-wracking and not playable until you LITERALLY reach the highest rank.
I've been playing it for 5 years and it improved immensely, but the playerbase is the main issue with this game

I always admire wildrift's everything: the skins , the maps, the heroes..
Well the problem with Wildrift is:
1st: the gatekeepers
2nd: the game can be laggy and consumes a lot of memory for low end phones and in Asia only few can afford High end phones
3rd: riot thought that because of league popularity, wild rift will be popular, and just hire celebrities to promote the game, but without hiring popular streamer/gamers which will hype their game and mostly their viewers are playing what game their idols are playing, youll get what you paid for... Sorry for my bad english
4th: only international games, not much tournament for countries
5th: the game has so much mechanics for a phone game, gamers in phone wants a chill and less intense match that can be played in less than 25-20 mins
6th: its dark and not vibrant
Thats all I can say of its downfall
bro, what is a gate keeper??
I accept your third fact.that is main.
@@reymaganis2526i dont think u can say toxic word in ml

There's even a handy option to connect to twitch from the wildrift app itself (although I never tried it myself)
Although besides esport I think the game is progressing quite well
Reminds me of Diablo Immortals. We all have phones, but why would we play these types of games on them when we have computers?
@@yimcshin Bruh, I am less than lower class and I have a pretty good PC build. It is a matter of saving and priorities. Phone games are boring to me anyways. Keyboard and mouse or controller over touch screen.
@@Brutetank tbh, there is a market. Most people have a phone, not everyone has a gaming level pc. So people are more likely to try out a mobile game. Obviously, due to the architecture of mobile devices they can’t include everything in a PC version but they can make up for that by including in new and unique things to the mobile versions.
Diablo immortal, all though it was a pay to win and trashy game because of how much it forced you to pay, was a great game overall and mobile/PC cross play was extremely well done.
Because there are CASUAL players, people who can't sit still within their basement all day and night

Riot shouldve done more advertisement, even though mbl has really cringey, bad ads, it still worked and they kept pushing it out

mlbb became very successful because Moonton knew how to win the hearts of ASEAN people, they made heroes inspired by ASEAN culture, such as Kadita, the queen of the south coast from Indonesia, then there was Lapu Lapu from Philippines, Badang the iron arms from Malaysia, and many more
That's a good point.
You telling this game is dead I just wanna say nah man you are a ML player only ML player say that.
You do realize that mobile legends also have bots in rank now as well right? But i agree the league community is by far the most toxic community ive ever seen
@@devilkazumi578 Idk, the last time i played that game was 3 years ago and i never bothered to check back then. However, someone in r/wildrift have proved it in league.
@@smilinggeneral8870 yeah you get a bot match in epic rank if youre on a losing streak and have you see the wildrift reddit? All they do is bash on other games and act like theirs is superior....hell if you post a gameplay video the first thing they do is comment " what rank is this?" and if its not high elo they all downvote you and talk shit lol
They started the eSports way too early when the game is highly unbalanced and too little champion, maybe in a year or two when WR is well refined and more complete then the eSports will truely shine
I think that:
1. They should advertise the games in the client when your in wild rift
2. Give rewards for watching them(like league)
3.hold it because it's a new game so it takes us time to comprehend that wild rift E sports exists
Nope its your fault and your gatekeepers community.
@@rimurutempest3842 loltards are notorious for their toxicity. They are the most toxic community

Wildrift had so much potential and Vainglory was the basis of mobile MOBAs
Tbf mlbb spent years building up in sea and beyond, and wildrift expects the same result after only exsiting for over a year?
Well that's Riot for ya
Yoo the Bully theme is a mad flashback!
This game is still fucking on beta. I am still waiting to play this game from South Asia. Yes, apparently SEA and SA are different. A massive market is always neglected. 🤦
The reason must be because it's either not playable by others or they don't care about players who come from different servers.
I have never heard of the game that’s probably why … riot needs to advertise more
