Just bought this exact shoe for my first job. Everyone said that you can’t go wrong with a black cap toe Oxford and these are the best that I could afford. The last/shape is exceptional as well, much better styling than anything we Americans make these days
@@cooch555 Thank you for the kind words. My father has a few pairs of the old Peal & Co shoes that are 30+ years old and still intact so I am not worried. Despite the stereotypes, British craftsmanship hasn’t really let me down. I drive a Land Rover and have an old RAF military-issue iwc watch - both have been excellent.
How well does the Crockett and Jones shoe tree work for the 348 last? I have the Hallam in dark brown and got the Saphire chiseled toe shoe tree which works pretty well. I just bought the Hallam in black city sole and was thinking of getting the Saphire shoe tree again but thought I'd ask first.
I have the black and the brown and they’re very versatile specially the browns , the look amazing with everything even with chinos , slags , jeans and suits . I like the video . You should do some more , but the only think you need to improve is the light when you record the videos . Its just a bit dark .
Bobby Brown Thanks for the comment! You’re right, both about the versatility of brown Oxfords and about the terrible lighting my videos suffer from! :) maybe I should be recording podcasts instead
I don’t have the Hallam but have an Edgware and another C&J pairs ... and I love them all!! And last 348 is the tightest of all last... wich is a good think of you like thighs shoes ... every last has his own charm!

ShoeShine Mex the Edgware is another beautiful shoe. Congratulations on owning a pair :) and I agree about your ‘last’ comment!
Pick the shoe up and show different sides top and bottom and the toe. How does it fit? Then people can know if they want to buy it.
Willie Murphy generally C&J shoes with the 348 last are for people with more narrow feet.
good looking shoe
