At great america if a guest takes their phone out on the lift of a coaster and you need to lift stop it would you have to wait for a supervisor to restart the lift?
When I worked there were specific instructions not to stop a roller coaster for phones. At Raging Bull a supervisor rarely restarted it as you would need someone at the base of the lift and on the block to restart from a ride Stop. Safer and easier for maintenance to restart it.

@@realsfgamfan interesting, at valleyfair operators lift stop for phones and are able to restart the lift without sending someone out there.

Why doesn't Batman have the wheel covers on?
Maintenance is to lazy to unlatch them in the morning ,without the covers they can just look at the wheel with out needing to take off the covers
