- A classic from the sfgamfan archives. One of my favorite activities. Being a supervisor enabled me to delegate my favorite tasks to myself. 😉
This summer I spent many hours at the flumes. When I started as a team member I did not like it. As a lead it was better because at least I got to ride it. As a supervisor I enjoyed spending time at the flumes.
Its days are numbered, which is unfortunate. A thrilling, high throughout attraction for all ages.

Can we get an American Eagle panel review? I’ve always loved American Eagle as it was my first big roller coaster and the ride that got me interested in roller coasters. The panel reviews are awesome, as always.
So many times I've seen this ride close down at 6p.m.. .... In the middle of Summer when the park closes a 10p.m., and a 90+ degree day with no rain, and 25k+ guests in the park and a stream of hopeful riders approaching the ride entrance only to be turned-away.... ...WHY ??????? All pre-Covid.... I could never figure that out.
To save money on labor. Suckers will visit no matter what the operating hours are of some rides
So sad!
