I own a '70 442. Mine's a fastback. It's super cool to see my car used as the "hero car". I've never seen this movie, but I'll definitely have to check it out!!!!
Oldsmobile-car company with so many inventions, first with automatic gerbox and front wheel drive, disappeared from the car market only because GM had no idea of how to use such a potential. Sad.
The guy driving a tow truck says it's only a race. Then he crashes is 442 convertible out of a building. It's only a 1970 442 convertible and my question was it a Hurst Olds edition? Crazy money that car would be worth nowadays and even at the low point those cars were still worth a lot of money 💰 for the time. Now I don't know did you ever catch up and save the girl? Then you've got two punks chasing two kids on bicycles while they're in their Chevelle. Yeah I know it's only a movie but I preferred Yang kumau their car wash going down the road. Not the actors in this movie but something like that in real life makes my blood boil.
Great driving, but as exciting as these muscle car are, I prefer to see the big old land yachts lurching around in the dust. To me. there is nothing quite like a 5,000 pound chrome laden space-ship on bed-springs being driven round a corner at high speed. I love this channel though, and try to grab and upload every day. Keep up the great work.
MungoidHen The Seven Ups chase scene my favorite. Big heavy Pontiac driving hard. The Driver movie is very good chase scene too.. nice big heavy Ford Ltd and police cars
its funny how all the cars in these clips have open rear differentials... only spinning the passenger rear tire.... obviously base models painted up...If I was the guy in charge of building the cars they would get a posi rear before the paint jobs...both rear tires smoking is a must have in cinema
as if he'd be running nitrous injection for like 15 minutes straight during a car chase....how big is the bottle, like 500 gallon ?? hahaha on a 2-bolt main Olds 455 yet....yeh, right....
Hahaha those tiny oil return passages aren't going to do much. The olds 455 might not be the best engine ever made but it's sure got its place in history lol
@Gappie Al Kebabi Yeah, sure. Even if, you think the electricity you're happily using and the production of your computer occurs from rainbows? You're a typical collaborator, who enjoys and benefits from fossil fuel use, plain and simple. @@BigBlackBussy Duhhh, yes they did, lol. They came AVAILABLE with an auto since 1965; a two-speed 'Jetway' auto (aka- the Super Turbine 300). @@231mac you must have not understood, I was referring to the cutlass in this movie. Not the 65, the 65 442 was completely different. It came with a 3 speed and 2 speed because 442 didn't mean what it was changed to in the following years. I've done my research because I own a 1969 cutlass 442 and I wanted to know more about it. If you had read what I said properly you would have understood what I said and saved yourself from the stupid little rant you went through..
@@231mac 442 was changed to 4 barrel, 4spd, dual exhausts in 1968, when it became an option package. If you had done real research you would know this. The 1964-1967 442s were just called that because it was originally just a designation without a real meaning, that's why they also came with the jet-away and the hydra-matic

Caracas, o cara apertou igual uma criança birrenta
W30 pack
Lords name in vain. Thumbs down.
I love the "STATE LINE" in big letters road sign. They must have hired the Dukes Of Hazard prop design department.
Intro was weird asf. But I'm here for the badass Oldsmobile.
@Gappie Al Kebabi lmao
That later movie clip with the Transforming 68 to 72 Chevelle!! Priceless! LOL!!
That really bugs me now thanks
Its a 1970 Chevelle the 1972 Chevelle had single headlights and circular tail lights.
That 442 is a sexy beast, but simultaneously, it's really cool to see 80's Dodge Diplomats and Chevy Caprices running alongside 90's Ford Crown Vic's!
@Gappie Al Kebabi No, it just means State Police are running alongside local cops who don't have the budget to buy new cruisers, lol
@Gappie Al Kebabi If it was takes place in the 90s, it's not wrong.
Rather amusing that the Chevelle in the final clip keeps switching from 1968 to 1970 several times.
ken barr and
@Mike DeMarco That Ford wasn't even a convertible ..it was a coupe with the roof cut off...
i watched this movie about a year ago just for the 442

A body vs A body. What a beautiful thing
That is one hella sexy 4-4-2. But seriously wtf is that intro.
Max headspace look it up lol
LMFAO at 5:09.
"STAY WITH ME!", while staring at a dude with half of his face blown off.
A 69 Hurst Oldsmobile hood scoop on a 70 442...😂
Makes it look unique but I'd rather see the 70 hood on it too !

I had an 70 old's 442 dark blue with black interior was my first car till some drunk ass hole totaled it for me!
It is hard to watch Hollywood trash all these classic cars.
those aren't the 'real' ones, just mock-ups...nobody's that stupid not even hollyweird
Often bondo buckets...
No less what some teenagers gone and done with them back in the day
Thomas Smith ijhuybgk
I agree. But back then it was no different to crashing a Toyota Corolla
I don’t think they know how nitrous works.
Anybody else see the red '68 Chevelle,twice...?
More than twice! Lol! 68 and 70!
Love these chase scenes and badass cars. But what's with that link you dropped?
What is the name of that movie with the year swapping Chevelle at the end? I gotta know!
Were can i find the movie to download
442 best muscle car then the Chevy car chase?
I need that freightliner hood
Surprised Jake Busey didn’t win the academy award
I thought that was Goofy Busey's son.
@@hornetbrown you can tell by their Mr Ed teeth !
I love oldsmobile
The last chase kept switching from a 70' Chevelle to a 68' chevelle. Very wierd movie mistake
A Soviet Joe Dirt in the last few minutes ... or was that Kidd Rock??
70 442 69 Hurst Olds hood scoop!
Who knows Max Headroom? And how did he get his name?
Link?
They were Obviously working with huge Budgets and OMG what an editing dept ..I bet they spent all of about what 10 grand on this block buster ?
XD what on earth did I just saw in the beginning XD
Dale works in this movie...and owns a 442? Really? I just cant picture him without the RV

I remember when the air waves were jacked and Max got spanked funny stuff
145 bhp never sounded so good!
Where are you getting that hp number, lol?

That 72 Chevelle sounds like it has Straight pipes or Glasspacks.
442’s r ok... but a frickin convertible! Yuk not for a drag car
Always hated convertibles and vinyl tops. They make a good looking car ugly in my opinion
ha- i know all these roads.

Dude why is this wierd now, the robot built for sex deal and the beginning intro. You ok man?
wrong hood scoop. ha
Yep... 69 Hurst Olds scoop on a 70.
So many things wrong... 69 mailbox style hood scoop, one guy said 4-42. Oh well
yeah its got the 69 Hurst old hood~!
I knew something wasn't right.
Doesn't the 2 in 442 stand for 2 wheel position? 4 barrel 4 speed, 2 wheel position?
jon mallory , 4 barrel carb, 4 SPD tranny, and the 2 is for dual exhaust. The 455 engine was a straight beast too.
4 barrel....4 speed.... dual exhaust !!!
What the hell is a "two wheel position"?
David smith, lmao. The 442 did not run a 400, 455 yes.
4 barrel 4 speed dual exhaust !
Gotdamn😮😆😆😆😆
Conrad '
holy fuck I had a caprice named Lucy!
these are what I call cars ! nothing like the junk they have today !
Mad Max copy in many scenes
Female lead is rather hot in some scenes.
Noticed a few stuff ups ... but who cares.
What the fuck?
Car porn for car guys like me. Like.
Lol I'm more a camaro person
