Even if he does evolve into that, it wont be in Curry's playoff window (2 years.) If you don't want to risk the future (which I honestly get & respect,) then you have to trade Curry this season. His value will only tank over the next few years. Makes zero sense to keep the current roster, not improve, and then not tank for a high draft pick in the stacked '25 draft. You need to make up your mind. Being a first round playoff exit team over the next two years is the worst possible option in my opinion. Dubs not including Podz in the deal, are probably hoping this will be a similar outcome when they reiected a Kevin Love for a Klay Thompson deal ... only time will tell..
The warriors are done! Whether it's Kerr or management but the moves they've been making are abysmal. From bringing in CP3 last year to valuing a small guard over a big who's multifaceted is just ridiculous especially when their problem is SIZE. Yeah, warrior fans don't get your hopes up
Lauri has a great game sure, but he hasn't played more than 68 games since his rookie season. He's only ever played well in Utah in the 55 games he played last year, I'd rather keep Podz than trade him for Lauri, though I would have been ok with trading JK for him
They should have gotten rid of podz for markkonen FOR SURE! This is what they are lacking is a big man that can move and shoot. His basically like a white KD but slightly not as good and he’s young. So they missed out on that one.
The Warriors are showing us why teams take so long to part with bad players. As a sixers fan I understood why they didn’t want to sign Thompson. They didn’t want to be stuck with a huge contract for a player who wasn’t living up to it and potentially end up like the 76ers being stuck with Harris. In contrast at least the 76ers have a Harris. Now I understand, you keep what you can unless you’re able to get something fair in trade. Warriors hands down should have paid Thompson and dealt with what they had, instead of having nothing.
I think the warriors honestly are sitting in the best spot. The dark horse. They are free of expectations. The were heavily criticized for two years more noticeable last year for not developing home grown talent. Though i think a player like pool could've helped the warriors last year, the mentality of pool seemed to be what Golden state wished to distant themselves from. It does not translate to winning basketball. There has been heavy expectations and burden for years on Klay Thompson and team chemistry so much so that it disrupts actual games. He is gone, though i think golden state would much rather have him, i don't think he mentally had the mindset to continue with them and it translate to non winning basket ball. The warriors now seem to be revisiting a more balanced position playstyle that will compliment curry's play making and scoring potential as they have been steadily building players that work within the paint: be it post-ups, encroaching shot selections, and heavier emphasis on finishing at the rim. It only serves to open the three point shooting efficiency. Allowing kumenga and podjemski to develop their offensive style of play freely without having to find pieces that replicate the splash bro potential. So im not to worried, its a rebuild and their pick up have size to them, which looks to address the other issue fans and media had about golden states small lineup. Its a we will see.
Ok now we are cooked, I think we are gonna look bad with another rough year fallin short in play-in... And honestly, I'm so sick of Wiggins. Dude won a ring and lost his soul, not reliable at all
sure the clipers lost pg but saved up on heavy vages to bring in significantly younger and defensive minded player. Gotta think about the future and just look what jordan and kobe did in the summer leauge. Anyhow cant wait for the season to start!
I feel like podz is golden in one year he already made himself very usefull on a roster with cp3 and Steph and he was not an high pick so he came without a big hype pushing him, he could bring more to a team than Markkenen for me, just not this year maybe
I am not really a Golden State fan but wanted this trade to happen. It sucks they are wasting a year of Curry's. He can if healthy , he always will be a bench role player until he is like 50 years old but not sure he will want to play that long. KD come back time?
Most teams don't trade within the same conference. But definitely not in the same division when your both competing for a championship lol. Clippers deal was never gonna happen
Don't wanna sound like a D-bag but I think you meant Mike Conley**. Also, I think Caruso is great but I think Hartenstein is a bigger pickup and should be mentioned. Being able to move Chet to PF should help take his game to the next level.
Lauri was a role player for 2 other teams before Utah. Utah gave him the chance and he showed he’s a star. Why would you want to leave after that? Plus before gutting the team the jazz over performed and held the #1 seed for a while 2 seasons ago and even over performed last year before they gutted it more. Lauri is 26. He has at least 5 more good seasons (if no major injuries occur). Hes a 7 footer with handles. Hes not the best player defensively but he’s not a liability. He averages 25 and 5. Moses moody and picks is honestly a slap in face. He’s wayy better than Golbert and in my opinion Mitchell
It was good that trade didnt happen. I mean, GSW have that psycho in they team. Draymond hit, stomp, kick and strangle european players all the time. AND he has history punch his teammates too. It would be disaster if ANY european player goes there. Draymond need some professional help for his problems in his own head. He start to look like LeBalco, destroy organization where he plays and everyone in they team suffer for that. Especially Curry.
"You can't rule out that the fact that having a year of stability where you currently live blabla positive + positive DOESN'T sound attractive" How the F does this sentence make sense? Check your script Mike ^^
Great video. I am not a fan of dynasties to be honest, so I am glad to see this in some ways. I feel kind of bad for the fans, from being there myself. that said. this was a poor attempt by GSW management and I think the media really framed this in a poor way. as an avid jazz fan, it was very clear from the beginning that the jazz where doing their job by listening and they stated from the start that first interview after the season that they where going big game hunting, if they don't get anyone then they will pivit. they stated that they liked LM and feel that he could still be great into the mid 30's and that he loves it in utah. not sure if it's the same interview, but they said on multiple ways that it would take something to blow them away. gs just never offered that to blow a team away.
Kaminga should of been the only player off the table for a trade 🤦🏾 now Brandon has a lot of pressure on him now .. your talking about 3 guys on the floor that shoot 40% from 3 in a system for 3’s gsw took a major L here
Jazz fan here and just my perspective on the picks from GS that would have come back in the lauri trade. If they traded lauri any swaps the jazz have in the next 5 years including GS swaps throw those in the garbage because the jazz are probably going to be bottom 5 for at least three if not more years depending on the lottery. And if GS gets to keep all their young players and gets a 27 year old all star I don’t see them being anywhere close to the lottery for the next 5-6 years unless they have a year with horrible injury luck. Which only helps the jazz if that year is one they have the pick and not a swap.
Long story short the jazz already have a bunch of mediocre picks and swaps from Cleveland and Minnesota they don’t need or want any more what they want is picks with a high chance of landing in the lottery or good young prospects and neither of those where in the proposed trade.
This is all the Donkeys fault. How you argue with the best teammate in the team on shot selection. Punch a fellow player in the face, talk trash behind the second option on the team. And always foul out in serious games cause you can’t control your temper. Warriors clearly need to change up the script cause it’s not working.

The warriors are done! Whether it's Kerr or management but the moves they've been making are abysmal. From bringing in CP3 last year to valuing a small guard over a big who's multifaceted is just ridiculous especially when their problem is SIZE. Yeah, warrior fans don't get your hopes up
Well we know cooper is not going to the jazz now
imagine the WARRIORS are so bad the get cooper(good lord I hope this doesn't age well)
Lauri has a great game sure, but he hasn't played more than 68 games since his rookie season. He's only ever played well in Utah in the 55 games he played last year, I'd rather keep Podz than trade him for Lauri, though I would have been ok with trading JK for him
He says "there really is not a light at the end of the tunnel or you" lol
Good the trade didn't happen, GSW still flexible and talented. Let Kuminga ball out!
green and lebron have one thing in common. drama
Who the fuck were those players after Melton????😂😂😂😂
casual
They got 2 good role players and guy that could possibly replace klay if they start him which is buddy hield
As a warriors fan I can honestly say that we’re in for another disappointing season🥲
Ok now we are cooked, I think we are gonna look bad with another rough year fallin short in play-in...
And honestly, I'm so sick of Wiggins. Dude won a ring and lost his soul, not reliable at all
This Warriors squad can beat LAL and MEM
Then you end up maybe 9th? I guess its fair enough.
sure the clipers lost pg but saved up on heavy vages to bring in significantly younger and defensive minded player. Gotta think about the future and just look what jordan and kobe did in the summer leauge. Anyhow cant wait for the season to start!
hyped lauri is choosing to stay! however it has a downside, in us most likely not even having a shot in cooper
I feel like podz is golden in one year he already made himself very usefull on a roster with cp3 and Steph and he was not an high pick so he came without a big hype pushing him, he could bring more to a team than Markkenen for me, just not this year maybe
damn i didnt know we had that many 1st round draft picks for the next upcoming years
we still have a trade deadline you never know what happens who wants out etc.
Warriors weren't willing to offer enough. They offered $40,000 on a $70,000 Mercedes. The dealer laughed and walked away. It's as easy as that.
Get this man 1m already so we can stop hearing about it lmao
Once I saw the news i was like, Mike about to go in
Don't wanna sound like a D-bag but I think you meant Mike Conley**. Also, I think Caruso is great but I think Hartenstein is a bigger pickup and should be mentioned. Being able to move Chet to PF should help take his game to the next level.
If you actually look at the clippers roster they clearly upgraded depth wise and especially for the playoffs
LETS GO MAVSSSSS
Dunleavy is gna ruin everything
Case in point why Klay left.
Lauri would smoke him
"You can't rule out that the fact that having a year of stability where you currently live blabla positive + positive DOESN'T sound attractive"
How the F does this sentence make sense? Check your script Mike ^^
It's weird I never expected markanen to want to stay in Utah . Weird dude.
Noti gang before the mil check in 🫡
Warriors are a borderline play in team
There's a reason the deal hasn't been done. Pods is a great ROOKIE player. And Mike, learn how to say his name man. "Podjemski"
i’m cool with the roster.
We really got to team we just need a average player that can 17 or 18 ppg and we will be good
Thats exactly buddy hield my g but its gonna be more since hes with steph now
Great video.
As a LeBron fan the giving just keeps giving since 2019 🙌🏿🙌🏿🙌🏿 the basketball gods giving out dues. 🔥🔥🔥
This is all the Donkeys fault. How you argue with the best teammate in the team on shot selection. Punch a fellow player in the face, talk trash behind the second option on the team. And always foul out in serious games cause you can’t control your temper. Warriors clearly need to change up the script cause it’s not working.
Why are people being corny and unfollowing before he reaches 1m
