Love this song, love this band, and love this era. This album was my freshman year of high school and holds a very special place in my heart. That being said. Stephan is a garbage human for what he did to Kevin, especially for removing his credit for guitar work and as the writer or co-writer of all of the first two albums.
@@chrisnealis4270 90 percent of all bands most successful albums is their first. They had sometimes years to compile an album and get exposure. Then they have 1 to 2 years to release another album to try and top their first. But I feel where you're coming from
@@MrManhore11 I'm well aware. I was a touring drummer for many years and have been a production engineer for the last 15 years. A good friend of mine handled all of the video production for 3EB in the late 2000's. I got to meet Stephan a few times. Even had a legitimate "in" to try out as the temp/fill-in bassist. I didn't even pretend that I was good enough and didn't pursue that opportunity. Don't get me wrong, I love 3EB. The debut album is in my personal top 5 all time albums of the 90's, and one of the most perfectly engineered albums ever produced. That still doesn't release Stephan from the fact that he was a dick. Feel me?
Very good example of how one only guitar can sound like dope and create a super wide and rich atmosphere, as if there were multiple guitars played! congrats to kevin
Great performance. Love the last riff, too. The harmonic of it, at the end, was sweet. I'm wondering where and when this performance was. I also wonder who the girl was. Does he still know her? I missed a performance in Richmond a couple years ago. It was at a small venue, too. Couldn't get there, but you bet that won't happen again. I WILL see these guys live, at least once before I die.
The last rift is the best, I’ve been trying to learn it for awhile because it reminds me of their song semi charmed kinda life when he says “the four right chords could make me cry”. That guitarist is actually amazing if you listen to all his riffs and licks he’s got genuine soul in his writing.
@@adamz0037 I like LOTR, you like LOTR. I think Tolkien was a genius, and I bet you do too. We're on the same page! I just like Third Eye Blind, man. I respect these guys as musicians is all I'm tryna say here. So chill.

Best part 3:38, “And the four right chords could make me cry”.
Exactly my thoughts! Love that ending!
that outro is one of the sickest deals ive ever heard
That last riff is tight
I knooow bro I know.
Entire point of listening to the song
Band sucked after the frontman fucked over Kevin (the creative guitarist). Once he left they became unbearably average.
Kevin Cadogen is the GOAT

SJ TRULLY sold his soul to the devil himself for FIRING Cadogan and he will burn in hell for it #fuckyoustephanjenkins
it wouldn't even be a band without him. relax people.
@@MrManhore11 As if Cadogan didn't write the majority of the most successful 3EB album ever released. Stephen had nothing without Kevin.

Distortion master
A tight unit, sad it didn't last.....long live the 90s
Seeing them in 2 weeks
My fav song!! Jenkins is a poet
Jenkins on his game here for sure
Dude this performance is so good
What an incredible performance probably one of their best ever
3eb at its peak! When Kevin Cadogan left, it started to decline never to be the same again. Good albums after “Blue” but nothing like the first two.
no words to describe this feeling. Only that I was 17 in Peru. Now I am 44. thats all.
I watch this all the time. It doesn't get any better
favourite song

Hard to believe Stephan is knocking on 60. But he WAS well into his 30's when the debut album dropped. I was 15, now 38.
Appreciate them more than ever.
