"most of you know this is the 25th anniversary of >our< band" sooooo weird to frame it like that when its just SJ and a couple contract musicians now. are there any original members even left beyond SJ?? drummer maybe still :) . wonder how many of the people in the audience really know the full extent of the history. its always fun checking up on how things sound compared to the old days and talking a little shit.
@@poliselthiago long story, but suffice to say, SJ consolidated the rights to the band/songs/IP into his own name (original guitarist does not even receive credit in liner notes for songs he co-wrote now but they are still majority of songs they play live to this day.) behind his bandmates backs, kicked out most of the original members and reduced the other musicians to contract players. virtually just sucking the entire soul out of it for money and never having any success again. kinda 'cutting his nose off to spite his face' kinda deal but w/e i'm sure he's doing well and sleeps like a baby.
@@Michael_Dominic How did he force his band mates to give up their rights? You need to know the story behind the stage. I still think your version has some gaps
@@poliselthiago he didnt force them to give up rights. he stole their rights. that's why SJ has had court settlements with at least 2 of the original guitarists :)
So true. 3EB was one of my all-time favorite bands, up until Stephen's ego got in the way. It was never the same after Kevin Cadogan got kicked out along with Arion. (Tony Fredianelli was amazing as well but, my favorite will always be Kevin.) I could only imagine the stress of having to be near Steven, for so many years trying to record songs. And, I'm honestly surprised the drummer hasn't been kicked / fired yet. I still listen to 3EB once in a while but, it's just not the same anymore.
I still rock this song after all these years!
That was just great!
great version, thx for upload
THANK YOU!!!
Thank you
