Lifesaver buddy! From 2013 to 2023 i was without my studio and reaper. All i had was a phone to make music with. So i forgot a lot of stuff. V4 to a month b4 v7 with reaper , a lot has changed , but i cant even remember some of the obvious stuff. Homelessness, kicked my ass after the flashflood destroyed my home. But i finally have stability in life. Catching up on reaper . Thanks again !
Thanks for this vid! I've spent my musical life on stage but since the pandemic have started doing more producing and it's been a long struggle. Vids like this help me out more than you know!
The reason for the apparent increase in volume that is mentioned towards the end of the video - my guess is that the issue is just with Reaper playing back two sets of identical tracks - Full song vs the Indivudal stems- though equal in volume by themselves, will addup into the Master Mix while playing back together. So nothing wrong with the settings or the rendering, actually.
Really good video! One question... I have seeing someone having two lines of Regions in the timeline, one under the other. Do you know how to do it? I never figured out how. It's nice to de Region Playlist option out of the SWS Extension to just hear different orders. Thanks!
I.don't use.regions all the time, but have found it a great way to copy and paste sections. Such as being lazy and just recording one verse and chorus say
Great stuff! You are aware of the fact that you can make overlapping regions fully visible, without overlapping, by dragging down the separator beneath the main toolbar, right? Very handy!
Great video! Until the end: What was that “level difference”? For STEMS to be real STEMS, they need to be exact, meaning the Master mix print needs to be a perfect Sum of the separate printed STEMS. So when you Muted then Soloed the Master, then un-Soloed (great technique) they should have been identical including the level. The next step in that technique would have been to Polarity Reverse the Master print, then un-Mute it (so all the prints playing with the Master 180-degrees out of phase to the others) and you should get a perfect Null, total silence. What happened? Anybody know?

Very helpful. Regions have been abit of a mystery to me so this is great
Great video. Thanks very much.
Cool, thanks. Great music too!
Awesome and clear explanation! I have to say, though, that having background music running the entire time is severely distracting.
This was a huge time saver. Thanks.
Just found your tutorial the other evening. Great help.
thanks, that helped a ton! Great video
Great walkthrough, thanks a lot!
Just found this video. Thanks man! Great Video!
Thank you
to make a region: 1:21 make time selection. then press shift +R
Awesome
Great info - thanks.
excellent Video
Great stuff as always Tony!!! Thx :)
Man! thank you so much for the work flow demo! Makes so much sense and very helpful - happy holidays and thanks again!!
Awesome! The render manager will be helpful. Mostly been using regions for jumping to sections, and re-arranging the tunes. Good stuff, Tony! 💪🏻
Great stuff, but I can’t move regions to the left, only if I copy them it works!
What have I done to make this happen?

Thank you, very interesting video. If you add Region Playlist Action to this, you got a real arrangement tool.
thanks
Great video :)

I was not aware of that, thanks for sharing!
reaper has way too many useful functions
@@ranajoyshil the main software, yes, which is pretty mind blowing, but also the community of developers building all kinds of stuff is crazy useful
Thanks, What resolution is your screen you share in this video?

It is possible to select a region and have the start end markers automatically set to it? Seems like a basic thing, but I can’t find it.
Hi Thanks!!! Making Regions + Full song to Stems = A++++ Not sure I get - prefader - set volume to zero - Can you explain? Dynamite video!!
Great stuff but there is only one single drawback !
It's super duper tiny !
Great video!
