(completely ignoring the fact that, whether they were nb or not, it is still a hate crime that happened because of the flood of anti-queer rhetoric and propoganda propagated by, you guessed it, the media) The news these days just exists to push ignorance, hate, and to keep the public divided, because that is what makes them money.

The clip of the girl questioning how often the cheetah hunt coaster was inspected made my jaw drop. My sister in Christ it was just very windy that day?? 😭😭
When she asked they would have replied a minimum of 3 times a day since there are 2 ride operator inspections and at least 1 maintenance crew inspection each day on rides that will be operational that day. Maintenance crews inspections happen while the park is closed and the rest of the staff is not at work, ride operators inspections happen right before opening the ride for the day and then halfway through the day they inspect again.
Love the reporter excusing her interruption with “It’s an interview, not a statement.” It’s rude to interrupt people either way. I commend that guy for not snapping, I would’ve gotten either flustered or angry. And I like your point about an interesting interview. It could’ve been a very insightful discussion on theme park safety procedures and how those can be implemented and improved, but she wouldn’t listen. Really sad, they don’t want to spread actual information, they just want ratings.
I’ve said it a thousand times and I’ll say it a thousand times more; journalistic integrity is an oxymoron. The “interview” with the Merlin spokesman is absolutely infuriating. The “reporter” is completely disgusting and everyone responsible should’ve been fired. As a side note, the guy who said he watched his tears fall from the sky is a liar, a coward, or both.
Very well said indeed. However, as someone who has journalist friends who do correspondence from places like Israel/Gaza, Ukraine, and other war-torn places around the world, it's not entirely a lie. It's just the local news driving up ratings by fostering outrage over things that should simply be reported upon and not sensationalized.
Yea, Sky News is for wacky right anti-vaxxers, like GB News. The interviewer is Kay Burley. That said, Nick Varney of Merlin is a professional imbecile too but at least he handled it pretty well!
If it is an 'interview' why would she lot let him finish his answer nor listen to his answers? It sounded like she was being fed questions from a writers room.
As a ride op myself, THANK YOU!!! Machines break down ALL THE TIME. And regardless of the reason (mechanical or weather-related), the ride was doing what it was DESIGNED to do!! No, you getting stuck at the top of Montu wasn’t bc the ride suddenly became dangerous; it stopped to KEEP IT FROM becoming dangerous. Heck, a ride may even stop simply bc some guest decided it was a BRILLIANT idea to jump out onto the catwalk and try to retrieve something!! If anything, the ride stopping mid operation is a good sign that the safety system is working properly. I’m just gonna start recommending this channel to everyone who asks me about ride safety from now on.
And this is why I run to all your "what really happened" videos anytime I find one of these headlines! You present the facts, in clear and honest fashion. You state what is, nothing more. You are a much better journalist than most actual journalists will ever be!
As a journalism major, one thing I find very gross is the adage that "If it bleeds it leads" I'm proud to only do positive stories that will invoke fun and smiles when I take my next step on the journey.
Unfortunately, mainstream news has stopped being about sincere news reporting and more about sensationalising for the sake of ratings/clicks and fear mongering a long time ago. Our best bet is to support people like you, who are willing to provide more down-to-earth and objective analyses of these ride-related events, so in our eyes, you're doing God's work out there 👍
Cable News has been losing popularity, so they run sensationalized and polarizing new to try and stay relevant. It’s only going to get worse as they get more desperate to retain viewership
I remember, sometime in the last year, the news media went up in a tizzy because a coaster had to be evacuated from the lift hill. I think it was Magnum at cedar point, but that part could be wrong. My grandma initially mentioned it to me like it was an accident because she saw it on the news, and i saw another article about it the next day. Nothing abnormal happened, people just had the coaster stopped near the top because of a few issues and people recorded the people being safely, reasonably evacuated. It was weird.
I was on the Superman coaster at my home park when it stopped and had to be evacuated. Never saw it reported on the news after that. And we were stuck for an hour on it.
Weird how people panic about having to evacuate rollercoasters. I live in the Disney bubble but everyone I know gets excited when they have to be evac'd off a ride, whether that be a dark ride or a rollercoaster
@@jessicacallaghan8082 exactly! Like its one thing to be a little anxious or just not excited when you learn you have to walk down the stairs from real high up, but its another for the news report to act like something major is happening??? News Agencies spreading misinformation should be punishable by law, I hate listening to people acting as an authority on things they don't understand more than anything else.
Look at how many of them get official statements and still can't keep the facts straight moments later even after a investigation was performed and a press conference was held giving them the information on Live TV.
"If you had to put in safety measures, then it wasn't safe in the first place" is the dumbest statement. I hope that news reporter never drives a car, operates an electric toothbrush, or even gets out of bed if that's their logic
This is especially harmful for small parks. My local park has been nailed in the past for things like coaster stalls and the news can be so brutal. It’s come close to putting them out of business in the past
2:40 OH NO. Truly tragic situation here. Some people couldn't ride something they wanted to because the ride was closed! This calls for destruction of the entire amusement industry.
The fact that the media falsely portrays ride everything from ride incidents to literal safety features this horribly is disturbing. News and media should be explaining what is actually happening, and they successfully contribute to roller coasters and theme parks getting the horrible reputation that they have today.
See, this is why I avoid the major news networks. These very same tactics that they keep using to try dragging people into watching their segments are the exact ones that are pushing away viewers who are sick of these tactics. Thanks for putting in the time and effort to clearing things up!
I try to avoid news and current affairs period. Besides those of the entertainment industry. 90% of main stream media news is either boring, depressing, or both.
Really good video! This type of stuff has always irked me, the employee at the end was doing a great job about properly explaining that "Yes we already had good safety checks in place but we'd like to make double sure of those by adding a few additional ones while we investigate" and the reporter just wanted buzzwords and clickbait. This video series continues to be great!
2:56 News: This is horrible how dare BuschGardens not take ride safety seriously?! Oh, they halted the ride to take ride inspection and safety seriously? Well then, why is the ride not immediately back open after an incident so little Timmy can ride it? Clearly they don’t care about their paying customers!
It is so funny to watch this and guests and news saying that this is horrible, and it is an accident. When at Disneyland and disneyworld all those dark rides and indoor roller coasters also break down causing the lights to turn on. Everyone celebrates that the ride is shut down, and the news and people don't complain about that. I would like to talk to those people, and say 'Then you might as well complain about disney rides breaking down because its the same as a theme park ride breaking down. So you already think that being at disney is safe, and theme parks are dangerous."
Do you know how they recovered from cheeta hunt being stuck? They didn’t evacuate riders at that part did they? That would be crazy. I would think they could just push the train over the crest
@@BackRowCoasters That is crazy. I would think doing rider evac without the train being locked in a place it can't move would be extremely dangerous. They really could of pushed the train either way I assume. Would of just completed the circuit or slid back into the first launch. Weird

@@edt-ze3ke the cheater hunt is a stupid coaster that rips yo legs off, and when you think it’s over, it throws you into the water and you drown to yo death!
I work at Busch Gardens. It’s crazy to see how the news reports things so outlandish. “Check for wind” like yeah how is maintenance gonna check that. Or people continue to try to connect Falcon’s Fury to the Orlando incident. And guest trying to tell me Falcon’s Fury is made by the same company as the one in Orlando…
I’ve had a few discussions with people about theme park accidents and they are always shocked when I tell them one thing. The most dangerous part of their day at the park, isn’t at the park itself. It is their journey to and from the park. People are ignorant of the multiple levels of safety that are integrated into every ride system.
It’s so annoying when they immediately blame the ride too, if it’s actually even a ride accident, when the majority of the ride is human error (failure to maintain the ride, poorly trained ride ops, lack of inspections, etc.)
People are acting like rides dont occasionally brake down in completely safe ways. They have procedures in place to deal with these situations in a very safe manner. These incidents don’t count as accidents. In fact in Disney rides in particular a lot of fans want the rides to break down so they can go through an evacuation. These news organizations are ridiculous.
Hey. I can be a news reporter in the US too..... "Tonight we are at park X, were something terrible happened!.... Ride Y got stuck on it's break section. We spoke a witness that saw it all happen. The park has not responded about what has been going on. But the witness told us the guests on the ride and the visitors that saw it all happen were terrified!..... they told us the operators at the rode were too slow to send the next train out of the station and this made the ride emergency stop and guest had to be evacuated at X meters Height! We are still live at the scene to report back when we have more "NEWS" about this tragic happening.....back to you in the studio"....... SOOOOO much sensation about nothing..... yeah this time the coaster did not get stuck on a break section, but guest might have just felt a bit nauseated about the rocking back an forth and YES... maybe the ride should have not opened because of high winds etc etc etc........ but that about what happend.....
These sort of sensational stories really anger me, as Dueling Dragons was also deemed "unsafe" in its original dueling mode entirely due to bad policy of allowing people to carry phones onto the coaster, not because the attraction itself was dangerous. To this day, I still boil due to Universal deciding to blame the ride instead of simply instituting a no-carryon restriction (which should've been there all along).
Buzzwords with no value, welcome to modern news networks… they find the most ridiculous people to interview to try and blow their stories out of proportion and when they finally have someone articulate with decent knowledge of the subject, like you said, rather than start a conversation they try turning it into a screaming match.
This makes me so angry every time I see something like this, especially when it's just a stop on the lift hill. They always just conveniently forget to mention why this happens and how it's completely normal.
As a child, obsessed with roller coasters , it was my introduction to how the news dramatises simple malfunction because it makes a good headline. They don’t care about what’s happening they just care that your watching.
News organizations in the US are entertainment companies. They have two goals here: boost ratings by making things as shocking as possible, and vilify alternate entertainment options, both of which ultimately serve the purpose of making more money.
Im so glad you used the check engine light reference like as a car mechanic n coaster enthusiast myself I tell everyone who tells me they don’t ride cause “which ever ride” broke down I always say well why do u drive if you drive fords which break down the most .
They were trying so hard to get him to say roller coasters are unsafe. Reports like this are probably why I still get people trying to tell me not to ride the Smiler because "it's dangerous and people died on it"!
Disney has had so many deaths at their parks and the news dosent get on their asses so please explain why they are always after roller coasters that have had 0 deaths on them?
It’s actually insane, and honestly disgusting. how they reframe the literal safety measure of stopping the ride to “a malfunction”. No, it would be a malfunction if the ride kept going despite detecting an error.
I think another problem with the news and accidents in general is that these are people who don't usually talk about roller coasters, suddenly having to talk about roller coasters. Also, the reaction of the media in the case of many of the accidents that you show in this video is actually quite similar to the Norfolk Southern train derailment in East Palestine, Ohio. Train derailments happen all the time, but they aren't usually that dangerous (this case is an exception). I feel like the media just tries to oversell the disaster aspect of any of these accidents or disasters to make more money from their headlines. It just really pisses me off as a nerd in some of these topics, seeing people be pushed away from something normally harmless and perfectly safe by some morons talking about something that they barely know anything about. It's just like the Dunning-Kruger effect, really.
@@HugeRMCFanBoY-bx3od And that is even more reason to bring it up and make it into a national issue. US is far behind on overall safety because almost everyone is *forced* to drive, and now they are pushed to driving larger and larger trucks because they tend to "win" in the accident scenarios, pushing the stakes higher and higher overall. The car industry lobby against it - hard pushing media to normalize and under-report it - is not a hoax, it is quite real with a LOT of money involved.
Not surprised to see Inside Edition as an example here. Somehow they both dramatize and manipulate stories of little consequence, yet ALSO trivialize stories that should have way more depth. I plug my ears when my mom watches it lol
Back in February 11th 2024 here in Port Aventura (Spain),on a kinda windy weekend, due to the wind ,one of the main branches of a tree (despite the media say THE ENTIRE TREE) fell into the track of the woodie roller coaster called Tomahawk in the Far West area (if you watch POVs of that ride you will see what tree is) in the zone of the last drop of the coaster,14 people (out of the total 18 that fit into the train, which is unknown if it was full) were injured and two of them were more severe. The coaster has been closed until two weeks ago if I'm not mistaken, there was an inspection but the judge exonerated the park for the accident (if you want to make a video about this I can help you :D )
What's funny about the Fury story is that other news stations in NC did not fear bait this much. Carowinds is my home park, but I live about an hour away. Also, do people not realize that these rides are made by humans, so they're not going to be 100 percent perfect. The good thing about rides in the US is that they're built with redundancy to keep them as safe as possible. Honestly, you stand a chance of getting hurt every time you wake up in the morning. That's life!
This is why I'm glad my friends look to me every time something happens. Theme parks are one of my special interests so I go WAY out of my way to learn as much as possible about how they work, what causes these, and what to be aware of. I always remind them that damn near every news media is gonna say a bunch of nonsense.
as a canadian (with access to american channels via satellite) its absolutely wild to me how emotionally charged/persuasive the reporters always try to be? not saying my news is necessarily any better but it's SUCH a noticeable difference, you can just tell by their tone how they're just trying to encourage outrage and fear 😐
Fear brings money and clicks sadly. People can get so addicted to being afraid, which is absolutely insane to me. Sure, i love scary movies , but like, those arent real!
The news likes to fear monger for sure. It's what leads to irrational fears. When I was a teen, I was at Six Flags America, my friend and I were in line to ride the Joker's Jinx and all of a sudden the train refused to launch. We left the line and rode other coasters, on our way back we saw the Joker's Jinx was running again and got back in line. We were to be the next loaded on and again, the "malfunction" which is actually a safety feature happened again. We left and decided today just wasn't our day to ride it and I told my mom. My mom took it as "dangerous" (due to previous news stories about rides becoming "stuck") but in reality, the fact the coaster sensed there was a problem and wouldn't move was safe.
"Ride malfunctions"... i.e. Rides functioning as they are supposed to function and stop in safe areas that they are supposed to stop in if something goes wrong
the smiler accident was tragic, but Merlin did everything in their power to try and ensure it never happened again. I truly despise the news for attempting to discredit that effort
Yeah 100 percent agree they have new safety systems in place I live in the same town as the park but yeah manufacturers added some system that won't allow the cart to operate with higher wind speeds ect
Yep. I remember when I saw a news article that declared my dad dead before the doctor did by a day. Like not opps we messed the date up but no the original article said he was dead the day before he was declared dead. Pissed me off. Granted it’s better than the final investigation report into my Dad’s death where they misspelled his name repeatedly so there’s that.
See this is why I love watching these videos and I’m glad I know what I know. Heck if I was stuck in a “valley” point on a coaster I’d kinda be a little excited being evacuated. Now in the cheetah hunt case maybe not, but if it was on a launch track then yes. Crazy how bs the news is by blowing things out of proportion
Seeing the Cheetah Hunt segment reminded me of a thing they said when I was on the coaster insider tour last year. The guides and mechanics there were all VERY open about the valleying incident. It came across as, "it sucked for everyone, but we've made adjustments, and the chances of it happening again are VERY small." And sure enough, it's been a decade since that and there's been no other major incidents! Guess they did sort it out.
Man do I hate that interrogator 14:07 Her “questions” were essentially: Your rides are unsafe, you’re at fault. You’re at fault.” Not even letting the guy speak!
In 90% of actual death or near fatal injuries in theme parks, its normally by human error. Aka, forcing a harness closed over someone too big for the ride, or someone unbuckling their harness to do something stupid. Most rides that stop, stop for a purposed. Like loose rider gear falling might make an employee trigger an emergency stop, or maybe the sensors on the ride triggered it do to environmental issues on the track.
journalist here! tv news is often sensationalized to keep people viewing- it works for some stories but with ride incidents they seem to ignore basic facts
I was there at icon Park when it happened, that guy that died DIED because he forced himself on the ride. They told him NO, (obviously overweight) then he made it a race thing.
The bigger issue with that incident was the fact that two of the seats had been tampered with so that they could fit larger riders who otherwise shouldn't have been able to fit. If the seats hadn't been tampered with, then even if he tried to "force" himself on the ride, the restraints wouldn't have closed, and the ride operator wouldn't have gotten the signal that he could dispatch the ride.
@@daisy12pinkanime85 I used to follow the channel too of that ride! The dispatcher was an awesome guy and had quite a following and he was super friendly, the whole situation was beyond shocking.
That Sky News interviewer is exactly why park officials in the US only release statements. Nothing really good can come from an interview in a situation like that.
An accident is an accident, No one wants one and everyone does what they can to avoid one. But they do happen. Some are just due to lack of communication (Like the smiler case). Maintance did not know another train was added, so safety that was put in place was overridden. The accident on TTD was something that no one saw comming either. Rides stop for a number of reasons, that does not automatically put them in the “accident” column.
I saw the video for the Smiler accident. The ride didn't malfunction in the slightest. The ride operators overrode the safety shutdowns several times which caused the accident.
Was both human error and ride error yeah they didint check before releasing the test cart but system shouldn't allow the cart to go out while other cart was on track . The have new safety system in place manufacturer of ride put in a system that means ride cant operate with higher wind speeds now so most the time u go there it's only open at set times depending on weather
When it comes to "OSHA violations" the company i work for got in trouble with health and safety a few years ago. There was an accident where someone got injured fairly badly. It was investigated and although it was found that the company wasn't liable for the accident (the person had violated proceedures) it was found that training paperwork was not up to date or missing. Luckily everything directly related to the accident was in order. No fines, just a notice to deal with the issue. So yes, a "violation" can be something quite minor and often things are found when investigating an incident.
It’s mad how often people won’t go on something, go somewhere or eat something ever again because of ONE incident ! I’m not a lover of theme parks and being disabled and not a driver, don’t get out to parks that often. I ate at a restaurant for years before getting food poisoning one time, but I went back to it and never had another problem. A friend of mine ate a Mars Bar (candy bar) in 1977, which made him sick and he’s never touched one (nor any other chocolate) since ! He was travelling on a train as a child at the time and also suffered from motion sickness, so it probably WASN’T the chocolate bar ! It doesn’t just stand at that though - there is a lot of mis-information out there to do with everything, so if you’ve never read or seen the truth, you just blindly follow the masses and miss out !
I was one of the people who had to be walked off of Outlaw Run and everyone was just wanting to know what happened and where they could get water. Absolutely nothing worthy of news coverage happened.
It's hilarious to hear how they try to frame Fury 325 as being dangerous. B&M coasters are some of the safest rides out there. The coaster performed exactly as it was designed to do and nobody was injured or harmed due to the broken support.
I commend that Merlin guy, he was explaining everything as matter-of-fact as he could, to a point where even I can see that what the company is doing is throwing on more layers of Swiss Cheese to plug more gaps, and make it harder for enough holes to align for something to go horribly wrong. Also _good_ gods I knew Sky News sucked but to sound and feel _so_ much like US news? That is, infuriating.
I’ve never seen Inside Edition not be absolute garbage and they should barely be considered news. They also have horrible, horrible on air voices. No daytime program fills me with rage the way they do. Absolute slop and if anyone listens to them in earnest should have their heads checked.

Eh, she's from Sky news. Brits stopped listening to them years ago. Except for the flat earthers and anti-vaxxers.
@@KestralKuthule that explains a lot
is it ok to call it retarded? i feel like it fits the defenition, but it's used a lot around gays.
Yea, Sky News is for wacky right anti-vaxxers, like GB News. The interviewer is Kay Burley. That said, Nick Varney of Merlin is a professional imbecile too but at least he handled it pretty well!
The Merlin Entertainment "interview" was so frustrating. It was an interrogation and she was trying to get a confession
If it is an 'interview' why would she lot let him finish his answer nor listen to his answers? It sounded like she was being fed questions from a writers room.
@@RocketboyX def not an interview
Theme Park don't have give any INFO to the Media at all...
@@KennyRyman Well they do just not to people that aren't real journalists.
As a journalism major, one thing I find very gross is the adage that "If it bleeds it leads"
I'm proud to only do positive stories that will invoke fun and smiles when I take my next step on the journey.
For some time now too...
Like its just people walking down some stairs. You don't see people going to those super tall sky viewing towers and talk about the people going down those steps.
Yep it was magnum! Remember all the local news stations freaking out lol 😂
@@jessicacallaghan8082 I remember getting super excited on my first ever emergency evac on a ride! (i got to walk the catwalk on breakers edge at hersheypark because it got stuck on the breakrun)
News Agencies spreading misinformation should be punishable by law, I hate listening to people acting as an authority on things they don't understand more than anything else.
I agree, it creates a false sense of panic, even leading to dangerous situations.
News Agencies: Don’t get punished for false information
Public: Gets sent to jail for false information
Look at how many of them get official statements and still can't keep the facts straight moments later even after a investigation was performed and a press conference was held giving them the information on Live TV.
"If you had to put in safety measures, then it wasn't safe in the first place" is the dumbest statement. I hope that news reporter never drives a car, operates an electric toothbrush, or even gets out of bed if that's their logic
these news reports genuinely make me pissed
To the news, bad news is good news. So they make it sound worse than it is.
This is especially harmful for small parks. My local park has been nailed in the past for things like coaster stalls and the news can be so brutal. It’s come close to putting them out of business in the past
Yup. There should be some sort of law against simple stoppages being put on the news or something. An unrealistic idea but one could dream lol.
💯
No way! I submitted the cheetah hunt one, I didn’t actually expect you to do it!
Do you know how they recovered from cheeta hunt being stuck? They didn’t evacuate riders at that part did they? That would be crazy. I would think they could just push the train over the crest
@@Zinojn I think they did, it would have made more sense to send it back into the station
@@BackRowCoasters That is crazy. I would think doing rider evac without the train being locked in a place it can't move would be extremely dangerous. They really could of pushed the train either way I assume. Would of just completed the circuit or slid back into the first launch. Weird

Nothing destroys your faith in journalism quite like seeing them talk about something you know about.
Don’t get me started on all the “hAs ThIs RiDe EvEr bRoKeN dOwN” questions. 🤦♀️🤦♀️🤦♀️
And thats the thing! You can check the weather all you want, but its wrong sometimes! You dont know for sure how the weather will be until the moment.
I love the silent seething of your sarcasm, great to know the passion in the work you put in also
Glad it came across correctly!
As a child, obsessed with roller coasters , it was my introduction to how the news dramatises simple malfunction because it makes a good headline. They don’t care about what’s happening they just care that your watching.
“Personally watched my tears fall from the sky” he said that like he was dangling off a cliff for dear life lol
News organizations in the US are entertainment companies. They have two goals here: boost ratings by making things as shocking as possible, and vilify alternate entertainment options, both of which ultimately serve the purpose of making more money.
trust me bro, its not just the us. media all over the world ist just disgusting
Im so glad you used the check engine light reference like as a car mechanic n coaster enthusiast myself I tell everyone who tells me they don’t ride cause “which ever ride” broke down I always say well why do u drive if you drive fords which break down the most .
The smiler one was so stupid it sounded like they were trying to bully the guy from Merlin
They were trying so hard to get him to say roller coasters are unsafe. Reports like this are probably why I still get people trying to tell me not to ride the Smiler because "it's dangerous and people died on it"!
Ah media doing its normal thing.... blowing things out of proportions.

Car accident
The News: …
To be fair car accidents happen every like 2 seconds
@@HugeRMCFanBoY-bx3od And that is even more reason to bring it up and make it into a national issue.
US is far behind on overall safety because almost everyone is *forced* to drive,
and now they are pushed to driving larger and larger trucks because they tend to "win" in the accident scenarios, pushing the stakes higher and higher overall.
The car industry lobby against it - hard pushing media to normalize and under-report it - is not a hoax, it is quite real with a LOT of money involved.
The Sky News reporter was amazingly irresponsible! Turn a tragedy into a viral news report, disgusting!
It's not just this that the news butchers. It's *everything* they cover.
@@ninjagirl226 Holy hell, that's insane.
As soon as you know anything about a topic or occurrence, you realise how inaccurate literally every news report is about that topic
Cheetah hunt is my favorite ride to operate at busch gardens. All rides get checked everyday before we open.
Man do I hate that interrogator 14:07
Her “questions” were essentially:
Your rides are unsafe, you’re at fault. You’re at fault.”
Not even letting the guy speak!
man the news is just. almost always misinformation a lot of the time, coasters or not
either that or they gloss over important details and stories
Thanks for your research into this. It then begs the question if news media have a penchant for exaggeration of actual events in general.
That reporter was WAY out of line! Holy Hell. I'm flabbergasted.
the media does this with everything, not just ride accidents
I cringe whenever I hear an interview of a coaster "accident" 💀
In 90% of actual death or near fatal injuries in theme parks, its normally by human error. Aka, forcing a harness closed over someone too big for the ride, or someone unbuckling their harness to do something stupid.
Most rides that stop, stop for a purposed. Like loose rider gear falling might make an employee trigger an emergency stop, or maybe the sensors on the ride triggered it do to environmental issues on the track.
journalist here! tv news is often sensationalized to keep people viewing- it works for some stories but with ride incidents they seem to ignore basic facts
the news goes with "if it bleeds it leads" every single time
News like to get things wrong in pretty much every topic.
We needed this video so badly, all parks get a negative reputation from these and it is undeserved.
The age of journalism is long dead. All hail the age of sensationalism and entertainment.
The local media really blew the two face incident 21 years out of proportion in their quest for ratings.
Nick Varney staying so calm towards the most idiotic news reporter ever is character development
The Smiler interview really pissed me off. Proprs to the guy for keeping his cool, it was very professional
yikes that sky news lady is RUDE AF
I am truly shocked that the news would be dishonest.
The news can’t survive with instilling the occasional moral panic every few hours or so
Love seeing someone rational talk about amusement park mishaps. It's so frustrating watching people knowing or otherwise spread false information.
Hey CC. Yes. Blows my mind how they make even an e stop on a lift hill as deadly
That’s the best safest place to stop. It did it was supposed to.
Nicely done !!! I hate the over inflation done by "news coverage"
"We got the bubble-headed bleach-blonde who comes on at five, she can tell you about the plane wreck with a gleam in her eye"
News agencies ALWAYS get things wrong, the truth doesn’t sell advertising space
3:25 The Bombshells they don't check the ride for winds, and apparently the news reporters don't check themselves for high winds either LUL
Nice
That Sky News interview was shocking. It represents the exact reason I've sworn off new channels and sites.
That woman from Sky News pisses me off. Constantly interrupting the guest like that is terrible journalism.
The news lies about pretty much everything I've learned
They always have been trash.
