He never hits a bad note, and he always gives 110% to his audiences. He loves to perform, and it shows. John is one artist that has many evolved eras
* Johnny Farnham Era 1967 - 1975 John’s professional career started as an ultra commercial teen pop idol that was sadly developed by the record company EMI .
Some of the song choices wasn’t even chosen by John to sing even his debut song the novelty pop Sadie The Cleaning Lady which became a massive hit in Australia the biggest selling Australian song of the 60’s .
Other hits followed like .
One ( Harry Nilsson , 3 Dog Night ) cover in 1969
And a cover of BJ Thomas Raindrops Keep Falling On My Head in 1970 .
John had many hits until the hits started to dry up after he married in 1973 record company EMI dropped him in 1975 not to long after John fired his manager over being over possessive of John .

* The Graham Goble Little River Band Era 1980 - 1986
After 5 years of being shoved off by the industry and result of the television appearances singing whatever the popular song of that time was just make ends meet financially . John gain new management with his longtime friend Glenn Wheatley the man that made the Little River Band massive in the USA in the late 70’s
Glenn got John back into the studio and got him the first permanent Farnham Band one of its members was very young guitarist Tommy Emmanuel .
John recorded the Uncovered album with help from Graham Goble from the Little River Band who wrote and produced most the that 1980 album Uncovered also is the the album that features this cover of Help which brought John back into the top 10 .
After in 1982 Little River Bands revolving doors of members finally took its successful lead singer Glenn Shorrock after infighting within the band Graham Goble after working with John wanted John to replace Glenn Shorrock.
LRB with John on vocals didn’t resonate strongly with hardcore LRB fans but hit well with John’s fans .
They had big hit with Down On The Border in Australia and The Other Guy and We Two in the USA .
But tension thing didn’t go away with adding John on vocals in LRB some members accused John for stealing the spotlight away from the band on stage . They even stuck his microphone stand and microphone lead down on the stage restricting these movement and interaction with the audience.
Well John got annoyed and wrote Playing To Win after one LRB member accused him for being far too middle of the road for LRB . Playing To Win is LRB’s most hardest hitting rock song and it’s the only LRB song John continue to sing after he left the band in 1986 .

When The War Is Over a rerecording of the Cold Chisel classic that also features the songs writer on drums Steven Prestwich originally from Cold Chisel .
He join LRB after Cold Chisel broke up in 1984 . John vocal s stew so perfect on this song and fits well with LRB’s .
* Jacks Back Era 1986 - 1989
While finishing up with his contracted commitments with LRB John was already working on his comeback make it or brake it album .
Whispering Jack 1986 was released with the massive anthem You’re The Voice this album and song brought back John into the spotlight and made him a legend .
This wouldn’t have happened without John best friend manager Glenn Wheatley’s belief in John . Glenn even sold his own home to finance this album . John was flat broke while making Whispering Jack because LRB didn’t give him a single worthwhile paycheque in 4 years.
Whispering Jack is the 3 highest selling album within Australia domestically and highest by and Australia artist with sales at 1,680,000 .
John was even named Australian Of The Year in 1988.

Albums starting to have a much larger gap between them John so humble and down to earth just enjoyed spending time on his horse farm .
Concert size John chosen to downsize to small venues and outdoor events like festivals or occasional joint tour with Olivia Newton John and TomJones .
2020 John performed for his last time at The Firefight aid concert just before the cOVID-19 pandemic hit .
Which sadly took. The life of his best friend manager Glenn Wheatley and then John himself was diagnosed with mouth cancer . After surgery removing the cancer but had to have a full mouth and jaw reconstruction John is cancer free and enjoying his family time there’s no hurry for any new music.
There’s been documentary about John and a book just recently done with John’s consent and involvement .

So the TV station picked it up and broadcasted LIVE around Australia. The Radio Station also picked it up and did the Audio and worked in tandem with the TV Station.
That way people could simply turn on the station and put the TV 's sound all he way down to silent. Walk across the lounge room to their large Stereo System and turn it on and Tune it in to get a LIVE sound to go along with the in sync visual.
Giving everyone at home the full sound that the audience attending got at the concert.

Presently he can still only open his mouth wide enough to slide a piece of spaghetti through. He is still undergoing procedures, next is to replace the teeth of his lower jaw. I love the Beatles, but I can honestly say Johns voice and performances are just second none, no matter what genre he is singing. He can sing any genre, with the same perfect pitch , to be and grit. He put over 💯 percent into every performance. He is also a beautiful, kind, generous man ♥️♥️
