This is a more accurate true to the original comics than anything released so far. I would watch this. Just sharpen up the acting and cast more true to comic cast and bring back the original colours for their uniforms (including making iceman look like a snowman) and you have a very well made xmen film

What if Quentin Tarantino directed Scooby Doo! Shaggy is an Iraq war vet suffering from PTSD and hooked on smack; Scooby is his emotional support dog, ostensibly to keep his flashbacks of the horrors he experienced at Fallujah from turning to violent psychotic breaks. He keeps a stock of illegally-modified fully-automatic weapons in the back of the Mystery Machine. Fred is pop-collared douchebag who was kicked out of university for dealing drugs, and a terrible racist. Daphne is a shallow, hedonistic Orange County party girl who fucks anything with a pulse. And Velma is a passive-aggressive, genderfluid diesel dyke and feminist studies grad in a savage love triangle with Daphne and Fred.
I'd watch the hell out of that.
This doesn't sound specifically Tarantino-esque, but I'd still watch it for the savage love triangle.

This is a more accurate true to the original comics than anything released so far. I would watch this. Just sharpen up the acting and cast more true to comic cast and bring back the original colours for their uniforms (including making iceman look like a snowman) and you have a very well made xmen film
