- These people got married in strange places. In 2018, Ellie Denney always dreamed of getting married under an oak tree in her parent’s backyard. And she wasn't going to let a raging fire stop the ceremony. In 2022, here comes the bride dressed in white down the aisle - of an airplane? I mean many of them did leave, but the couple could have just continued the 5 minute wedding ceremony while walking. Especially for the man ordinancing the wedding because he was close to the tree, they could have started walking fast for his safety. I know the tree has importance, but they could have just come back (even if it got burned) and done the ceremony there again. I don't know why the rest didn't leave as well when he said it and they noticed the fire the first time.

We got married at the Graceland Chapel by an Elvis in Las Vegas. Everyone in our family being Asian and Buddhist, got married in a Buddhist temple. How many people, especially Asisn, can say they got married by "Elvis" in a chapel

The ones who did it under the oak tree with wildfires close by were plain selfish and stupid. Putting loved ones in a situation like that is beyond careless. Forcing them to make a decision to see them married or not is also selfish as hell.

I found the last one really distasteful and felt sick.
