Its honestly terrible that these people felt judged by society for not living up to “beauty standards”. Everyone is beautiful in their own way and it is terrible they felt pressured into doing it…
I actually have this problem as well where I was playing soccer and got hit in the face by the opponents arm. As a result, I’m not able to breathe properly from one side of my nose, but I got used to it.
a lot of times breathing is actually impaired on at least one side after a traumatic injury to the nose. that's the most common reason for rhinoplasty after a broken nose

I don’t like how parents let their kids get plastic surgery this young unless it’s critically needed for a medical issue. It just teaches them that they won’t look good until they use surgery to fix it.
It made me BEYOND upset to see same aged girls be ashamed of her nose. It made me, myself insecure. I felt I was called out too even I wasn't... but, in the other hand it made me grateful to know that I don't live in a repeated envirement. I hope no-one else felt the same way! 🤧

But the target just then internalizes the tease. Maybe they start out pretending they don’t care, but if mean siblings or school mates begin to bully, it becomes a pernicious obsession. Sometimes just surgically fixing some area will free their minds.
Most of the children featured here actually did need the surgery they got. So the bullies were wrong to bully them for it but it definitely was something that needed fixed.

Exactly 👏
Well said.

@Michael Jackson thanks I'll remember to do that 👍🏽
@Michael Jackson i understand, but it’s not that easy. when i broke my nose (i was 13) it was TORTURE. i had a massive lump AND i physically couldn’t breathe out of my nose. i ended up getting plastic surgery when i was 18 to help myself breathe better and remove the lump. but i wish i would’ve got it when i was younger. you never realise how much something so small can effect your confidence, and it does. i was bullied for years. i think some people really need to think about how it would actually effect others, instead of simply thinking oh plastic surgery is changing your natural self.
@Michael Jackson ohhh okay yeah i know what you mean. thank you! but i’m just saying like many people you think there’s nothing wrong with them but they may feel really insecure and going to the surgeon may help them feel more confident!
I am in no way judging because I am not in their shoes, but can't we just raise the youth to be more accepting of the differences of others? It's our differences that make us special!

We should teach kids to not judge eachother and to not bully eachother about someones looks.
Thank you. I completely understand that sometimes you don't like things about yourself. But we need to teach our children that appearance is not EVERYTHING and it won't solve everything. We're making kids so narrow minded and thin skinned it's sad
Tell that to the kids who bully people relentlessly.
Gem It’s not always about what other people say. It’s hard to change an insecurity that you’ve had for years, even if other people say you look fine.
@@Fleurig-xr5mm not only that but to embrace themselves.. Just because someone doesn't bully someone because of there appearance doesn't mean they don't feel acertain way.. Thats why as parents you must teach the child to love there selves and also give them the confidence.
