Bro asin how did they let them get adopted
The fact they adjusted the little girls bike for her to ride with the family. The fact they use a whistle to help the kids without great vision. The fact they care enough to put sunscreen on the children to ensure they don't get long term consequences of the sun exposure. The fact they took on the challenge of raising multiple children with sight issues. The fact they decided to take in so many children in general. This couple is absolutely amazing and truly benevolent. They smiled the whole time and gave off the best energy throughout their video. I hope they all live happy and healthy lives. 💕💕💕
The fact you said "the fact" an obnoxious amount of times is a fact.
@@BlGGESTBROTHER the fact you replied to be obnoxious.😂

This family has my respect due to the fact that they took in 4 children with out a lot of knowledge about kids who have these type of things that could hurt them but your an insperation
They are an inspiration! I wonder though, if they did a lot of studying before they adopted these kids. They certainly found themselves in a wonderful family..
@@Wisepati I can't agree with you more on the fact that they found each other but they treat the kids like they were born to them an that's awesome in my book

And not only that, but they adopted 5! I would love to hear about all 5 of their individual stories. They seem like incredible people and a wonderful family!
Wow, they’re doing something amazing and have figured out what works and what works for the kids as well. That’s awesome! That’s a true form of patience and a true form of learning how to teach someone who has to learn differently. Props to the parents.

Yes
so true, very impressed by these parents
I love theeeeem all!!!
As someone who uses a wheelchair and dresses in full Muslim garb, face veil and head veil included. I get lots of stares, whispers, and questions. The whispers are the worst.
I love when a kid asks their parent a question and the parent responds to the child in a regular tone at a regular volume to try to get me in the conversation. It makes me feel more human and it teaches the child just to ask questions. Questions are better than stares.

@@jesusisking314 Such a weird thing to say to a Muslim. Basically saying "I don't give a crap about your religion because mine is the right one and you'll get there eventually:)" Such a lack of respect
They're such a lovely family! I just really hope that they make the one child that doesn't have albinism feel special too so that she isn't lost in the shuffle. I noticed she doesn't smile as much as the other children do.
Maybe because she can see she may feel hindered?? What a wholesome family.
@@marychristelleThat’s the thing, children are naturally curious and have a more happy outlook on life than adults or even teens, if you notice a child that’s not reaching normal milestones for their age or has a behavior that is questionable, you DO have to pay attention to that and seek help for them. It is not a “problem” to be or feel different, but it kind of is if we’re realistically speaking. No one wants their child to be depressed or to suffer from a disorder in silence, it does affect your mental health a lot even as an adult and being a child, there are not enough tools you can find to get out of “that hole” on your own, which can affect other aspects of your life and development. She might need something different for her, since all people have different needs. Just their parents are too focused on the albino children’s needs. That’s why the original comment mentioned they hope they are paying attention to her, since she seems to have a different attitude even while being part of the same household - this usually indicates something deeper. It’s not that you’re weird because you’re different, it’s that your difference could mean something that you need help with and needs to be addressed, not ignored just because “some people are like that”.
@Marychristelle wow you’re very well spoken for a 10 year old
@Marychristelle ok there’s no way you’re only 10
@@anononoa8that's exactly what I was thinking. Very well spoken and pretty smart for her age

2:19 you can tell the set is too bright for their eyes ☹️, the crew should have took that into consideration
i agree
I have albinism and as I grew older, my type allowed for me to have some pigment. I grew up using those magnifiers and I still have one of them somewhere. Hopefully the kids have access to low vision services like O&M that will help them be more independent as they age.
I was thinking this. Though they arent fully blind im sure some of the services typically used with blind children could be used for them
Hey i have a question just out of pure curiosity :) Whats the ratio of people with albinism who have impaired vison versus those who dont? I didnt know that a lot of people with albinism have poorer vision and i couldnt find too much with actual numbers when i looked it up.
@@scaryysharkk Vision problems are actually a pretty key feature of albinism! Melanin plays a role in the development of your eyes and how they function, so people born with little or no melanin like those with albinism generally have visual impairment. I’m not an expert, but I’d assume from what I’ve read that nearly all people with albinism have vision problems with varying degrees of severity.
@@phe.mp3 Thank you so much! Just learned something new :)
I actually worked with one of these girls in China, spending a few days a week with her at her foster home or taking her on different outings. She would often spend all day Sunday with me. It was heartbreaking because whenever she was with me (a white woman) people would assume she was white and would go on and on about how gorgeous she was - they'd want to touch her hair, take her hand and walk with her, take pictures with her. But when she went out with her (Chinese) foster mom, they'd say how ugly she was, ask why the mom would keep her (they didn't realize she had actually been abandoned and the woman wasn't her real mom) and other hurtful things. It was literally the same child and she was actually beautiful, but their perception of her was radically different based on whether they thought she was white or Chinese. Unfortunately, like many cultures, they view people with albinism as being demons or bringing bad luck or some other nonsense. I was so happy for her when she was adopted into this family, where she could leave all of that behind.
Wow thank you so much for the story!! It’s eye opening really cause we don’t think about these types of issue until someone tells us about it. :(
What a white savior you are 😂😂😂
Woahhhhhhh❤
4:27 awwww you can tell how much it hurts her. Such a loving mom.
My younger cousins grandmother had albinoism. She had 8 sons, raised them , ran her household and went about life like everyone else. She was a wonderful women. One of the strongest people I have ever know. Rest in peace Lib Bridges. You will truly be missed.
RIP Lip Bridges.

I love how they empower them and encourage them to do things every other kids do even though it might mean taking a few extra steps. Great parents!
Bless this family and their children. The love, encouragement and protection they give to their children is amazing. What great role models these parents are. The confidence these kids will have at adulthood is going to be through the roof. How amazing. ❤
You are an incredible mother. I tried to homeschool my kids during covid and it was an absolute nightmare. My hats off to you much respect for you and how you handle are their needs. You are amazing
LMAO. True. These kids seem to get along really well though.
I had no idea albinism affected eyesight (I mean I knew about the light sensitivity, but not the reduced vision) ….
Beautiful family!
in my opinion, I think people with albinism are absolutely stunning and beautiful. It's a rare beauty
You guys are amazing❤️
I have albinism and it has been tough but I’ve been able to do so much growing up. We are honestly the same as everyone else.
I’m 29 now and I have been able to drive (sunrise to sunset only) and before driving j was able to use public transportation very well .
We may be blind but the rest of our senses our 110%.
Your blind and you drive? Am i missing some thing here?🤕

The color of their hair is absolutely beautiful!! I love this family !!! They are special and very normal at the same time !!! But I happened to think the kids are super adorable and very pretty !!! Best of luck fam !!!
Yeah I was also mesmerized by the beauty of their hair color, you know their some anceint Chinese historical dramas with long white hate that wave in air it remind me of that so beautiful

These are real parents, real heroes. Thanks for adopting these lovely kiddos.
Their parents are just amazing persons and we feel so happy to see their smiling faces.
What an incredible family
I want to thank you two retreating and taking care of your kids the way you do as you can see I have albinism and just to see and hear the things that you say is right on point. I am fortunate I do drive but I do have issues growing up was not easy but I learned a lot and it’s nice to see how comfortable you make them feel and I think you guys are awesome. Keep doing what you do.❤❤
it’s nice that they have siblings who can relate to them and the same challenges. I’m adopted and i’m the only colored person in immediate family and on both my parents side. Of course that’s different than having albinism, i just think it’s nice to know you’re not the only one going thru certain types challenges (there’s always ppl out there but it’s hard for tweens/teens to always recognize that), or odd one out in the family.
This family is so precious
Beautiful family thank you for sharing!
it really warms my heart to see such loving parents that go above and beyond for their children. those kids are so lucky and loved.
You are an awesome mom and an awesome family. I'm adopted and I love seeing happy stories like this. You both should be proud of yourselves as parents!
you have to give those parents respect.. and the children all are beautiful and a joy to watch
I really loved this video. Thankyou for taking these children in, it really warms my heart. I appreciate you sharing theirs and your story with the world, and educating us alot more on albinism. I promise to be more open-minded because of you and this video as well. Have a great day and peace and love to the world Amen ;)
Absolutely beautiful!!! Thank you for educating us about your gorgeous children.🥰🥰
These parents are wonderful and they make a great team, they’re also doing a great job at raising their kids
The youngest one has quite the cute personality!
I loved this - I’m pregnant and my husband and I are both carriers of albinism, so I am trying to prepare us in case our baby is affected. I don’t want the invasive testing so we’ll find out when he’s born. Love stuff like this showing that parents and kids can adapt and that children with albinism can have a normal and awesome childhood.
hii my baby is born albion as we both were carrier , dnt wry They are beautiful kids
They are so beautiful ✨❤ thank you for sharing this video with the community😊
Awesome that both mom and dad can be at home! Work from home has really changed the way some families work
What an amazing family, the mother has such a beautiful heart.
This is such a wholesome and lovely family! 🤍🤍🤍
I really don't understand why people bully others for having albinism, vitiligo, or different eye color? I personally find it super unique and beautiful! If people think normal is a privilege, oh no, I think unusual is a privilege. Being normal is boring, being out of this world is what makes you stand out and successful. If anybody reading this, let me tell ya fly that likes trash won't appreciate a flower you're offering. Remember you're beautiful 😻
It’s jealousy! Disguised as hate.
Oh my. Look at those beautiful children. I know albinism comes with complications but I've always thought it was so so gorgeous.
The parents have the perfect aptitude to parent these beautiful amazing kids. God bless!!

This is a great family. I want to see more episodes.
Love how you guys are loving parents
The bike riding is giving these kids so much confidence. I listened to a testimony earlier of a daughter of a severely abusive mom and wow. What a contrast. These parents are sacrificing their time and energy for the well being of their kids (and having fun along the way). And so many parents are willfully exploiting their children for money or attention.
These are some really amazing parents
Their hair is sooo pretty!!
Being different makes you special and your beautiful children are special🕊😍

What a beautiful family! You can feel the love that the parents have for their kids
I was adopted, 1 of 7 children, even though it was really nice taking in that many kids- we suffered alot because our parents didn't have alot of money. So I always had old, bad clothing and the food was always expired so we were often sick. I hope these kids have enough resources with her not working and him being an insurance agent.
