Beware of Australia

- These stories will remind you to beware of Australia. In 2022, a grandfather from Australia went toe-to-toe with a kangaroo who attacked him in his front yard. In 2021, a crocodile was not ready for his close-up and snatched a drone from the sky. In 2021, thousands of spiders took up residence on a farm in New South Wales, Australia. Inside Edition Digital’s Andrea Swindall has more.

My guy, get real, this ain't the real reason people know about Australia and it's people
People know about about Australia because it's the rival to Florida people
as an australian, its a stereotype. this stuff almost never happens and if it does, it'll either be in rural town countries or queensland. if you do see a spider or an animal, just mind your business and it wont hurt you if its not threatened. if youre wondering, the real bug in australia is scomo
Being an Australian, it's actually not that dangerous. You do run into wildlife but not much of it is dangerous and if you leave it all alone, you'll be fine mate.
Except when deadly snakes slither into your homes. It does happen in the US too, though.
@Joy J yeah that is true. I mean I once caught one in the kitchen when I was 2. Luckily my Mum pulled me away before I got anywhere closer to it.
@@johnbcooper
I don't know how you guys sleep at night. I won't even live in our Southwest because I'm deadly afraid of snakes.
I heard AUS is beautiful and safe though. Only the snakes scare me there. I'm not even afraid of your spiders. And the crocs and other dangerous land animals, I'll just stay away from them.
The fact god give so much to western origin people which they know nothing about how to develop. I wonder what if one day china expel all Australian and take control it. Will it has any land to waste like today ;P.

Born and bred here in Australia! Let me tell you I still haven’t seen a brown snake or funnel web in local captivity and hella more scared to see a grizzly bear or anything like what they have in the US anyday! I live right near a whole parkland full of kangaroos and they aren’t even the slightest interested in humans. They just go about and do their own thing. The big animals here literally leave you alone
I’m in brissy, we get browns around here, my mate is colourblind and nearly stood on one twice! 😂 I’ve had to remove snakes from inside twice, pretty sure they were just tree snakes tho… have seen a random wallaby in the middle of the suburbs whilst out dropping off ubereats THAT had me scratching my head 🤣🤣🤣
Is way easier to scare off a bear than a spider 🕷️ sneaking up on u while u sleep if u see a bear stand your ground make yourself loud as possible and make yourself as big as possible and slowly back away Australia has snakes 🐍 and spiders 🕷️ that will rush u in a heartbeat that’s why im scared of Australia
At least you don’t have to worry about sending your children to school in Australia.
Agree
I don't think we've ever had a school shooting.. not even once.
That is true. I pray Australia never becomes like the US.
@@gardensteps someone like Julian Knight Hoddle St and Martin Bryant Port Arthur massacre's..... ?

I was born and raised in California but have lived in Australia for the past twelve years. I’ve come across way more deadly animals back in the States then in Sydney; bears, rattlesnakes, mountain lions, black widows (not usually deadly but can cause lifelong nerve damage)…
It’s blown WAY out of proportion!
Same I just came here, I’ve seen several large house spiders but they aren’t dangerous. No snakes or crocs so far
Yep, this report is an exaggeration on another level. I’ve lived in L.A for 11 yrs, Chicago for 2 yrs and Sydney for 20 yrs total. At least we don’t have Coyotes roaming suburbs attacking toddlers etc.
And most Kangaroos just mind
their own business. 😂

This is ridiculous.I’ve lived in Australia my whole life and only seen 2 snakes in real life, rarely see kangaroos unless out in the country areas and rarely see big spiders.Never seen a croc in real life.
I’ve been in Sydney for 2 years and had 1 spider and 2 roaches in my home so far - never seen a spider. Everyone back home in the US thinks I fight spiders and weird animals on a daily basis.
I've seen probably no snakes ever
I've only seen one python and that was when I was on an excursion at school, never seen anything else on accident as an Australian.

I like the way Australians refer to specific species of animals, such as 'Great White' or 'Huntsman' instead of using generic terms like 'shark,' 'spider,' or 'snake'.
Most of these were from news sources, they like being specific about stuff
Great white is a species same with huntsman?
That’s because we have a decent education system.
Australia might have a lot of Animals, Snakes, Sea Creatures but one of the great places to live in the World.
"Beware of Australia"
As if we didn't already know 😂😂
i live in aus and it is so different to the stereotype. its represented as a dangerous and like scary place cos of the animals. i have never in my life seen a wild snake and only last year saw a kangaroo out in the bush. trust its so different to what u see if ur in the city and metro areas. maybe im just sheltered or just because i live in the city.
The shark looked like it sniffed his feet and went 'oh heck no, I'm outta here' 😂
Poor spiders and other animals were just trying to escape the floodwaters 🕷 💕
I once went camping in the bush and a grass hopper landed on my shoulder then it was eaten by a huntsman spider ☹
That's Australia for you
Circle of life.
Then a Magpie at the spider
That’s not even close to the most dangerous stuff we have in australia.
They didn’t mention: box jellyfish, bluebottles, dropbears, redbacks, etc
Having lived in Australia for years I can say that it’s not dangerous at all when you’re on land. The big animals mostly leave you alone and the small ones you never get see (all of that is unless you’re stupid ofc) America has a lot more dangerous animals than Australia that you get to interact with I reckon
Yeah. Americans. 😂
As long as you stay in a city or stay in a town your most likely to not see any of these creatures so you will be alright
That woman was so calm when the huntsman crawled up her leg. If a huntsman crawled on me or even near me I’m sure I would pass out.
They're actually harmless, no worse than a bee. I guarantee if that was a funnel web spider the reaction would've been very different.
I just came back from vacationing in Australia! you just reminded me of seeing a giant huntsman spider running around in a house I was staying in. It was terrible along with the cockroaches I saw...
I have so many questions on that radioactive capsule:
How did they realise they lose something so small?
Why wasn’t it secured if it is so deadly?
I keep hearing conflicting stories that 2 small kids did indeed pick it up and got radiation sickness? Whose correct?
No children in that area that's just a made up story this was out in the wilderness where people don't go. They had search teams out looking for it as soon as they realized it was missing and they eventually found it it was tiny
No kids ever found it. It was on the side of the road out in the outback where no children would ever be. The authorities used a special machine to detect it, easily finding it when they drove past it.
The trucking company was not fully complying with the handling protocols.
