This is basically starting a short form content agency which I tried to do alone and it proved extremely difficult. The main thing with this is having a method for FINDING clients. The contact info for creators etc or the specific niche you want to serve.
Yep a good friend of mine did the same thing as a talent agent. He lasted maybe 6 months.
So realistically speaking, it only works for the people who somehow have the contacts of the type of clients they want to work with.

Every business falls down to finding clients. I would find a service that is an absolute NEED in society.
Light bulbs, appliances, clothes, food,etc. Something that is used by everyone every day.
But I really like this idea as well.

It's all fin and dandy and seems doable, until you realize that it's actually not that easy to figure out what service you can offer. And it's not for a lack of skills, it's more of a confidence thing... I feel like I can do x, but not good enough for someone to pay me to do it...

Hi Mark, I've just stumbled across your channel and its pretty cool how you're trying to help younger people maximise their financial early. Just wish there was someone doing this for people in my position (mid thrirties with a family, mortgage and middling salary).
All these financial channels seem to only be geared towards those who those who already have a high level independence.
Still, what you offer is of great value to those people for sure!
Hi, most of the things I talk about are applicable to most age groups, the problem is the perceived risk seems higher when you have a family and mortgage etc. Unfortunately this feels like a trap but if you start a side hustle you believe in and keep plugging away eventually it will earn more than your job, this is the crossover point. It’s all about taking risk but everyone’s acceptance of risk is different. Take action and don’t blame your age or situation for not doing so. Good luck my friend. MT 😎

I disagree that they’re a joke. I know short content editors that make $20,000 per month. If you’re referring to the earlier steps, it’s definitely not for everyone, but when you have nothing, you have to be prepared to do anything to buy the tools you need

I love this, but the hardest part of this is getting the clients. How can you get them so fast? Also, are you talking about high end, big name clients?
Regarding the ability to make $10K within 7 days, I know that it’s possible to do in finance (especially real estate and trading). Yet, doing it in 7 days will require a lot of work.
This video gave me some ideas on how to replicate the process for a software service and a music (or audio) production business.
having opened a business offering 60 second clips to businesses and failing quite quickly, this video really intrigues me. I'd love to see you do this or mentor someone like me to do it! great content Mark.

I normally like the advice given but in this Video i think a couple of these things are unrealistic as the tiktok or RUclips would stop you in your tracks even if the shorts did reasonably well which they wont as they will be the persons first uploaded Videos, these will almost cirtainly Get No Views at all ...
20 to 50 at best it would take several videos and several blow ups to happen and to think most creators would allow you to use their content is a little nieve alot of creators strike for no real reason also i doubt anyone would be paying someone to chop up their content when they have teams doing this themselfs so i think you would get stuck on day 3 or so here as the videos would not generate a penny at first !
The scrap idea works Well i have personally done this and made between £30 and £ 300 a day depending what i got and metal is all worth something
im not sure i could get 10k in a week or 2 as im trying to better myself right now and barly reaching a few hundred a month but it is growing in all areas so im learning and implimenting as i go good luck to All who try to better themselfs and their lifes
Not to be pessimistic but this is very optimistic. One, you can’t just roam around scrap yards in the UK and two, who’s going to pay £1500 for some videos to be trimmed?

Oh boy… let’s do some maths here, cuz in the end it’s all a numbers game…
Before you sell something you’ll need leads (or at least visitors if selling on a self service basis) and to get leads you will need to do some kind of marketing.
Now let’s say you are able to sell to 20% of your leads (which is quite a generous conversion rate for something like an editing agency which so many people are currently offering). Now let’s assume that from all people seeing your advertisements (paid ads, social media content and so on) around 0.01% convert to a lead. You will need to reach 50.000 people so you can make just one sell.
Selling something more expensive also affects conversion rates if other processes are not in place.
I really don’t want to hate on the idea here, it’s just expectation management.
Reaching an audience of 50.000 people is certainly possible within a month, achieving high conversion rates takes time though as it is a long process of trying out things and seeing how they affect your KPIs.
Do your maths and optimize on that and the world will be yours.
This video really shows how ive failed and taken alot for granted. Time to make that money.
Your videos are on point as always! I would love to see you actually do your own challenge. It would add a lot of credibility.
Provide a service and a product. Network and open myself up to new opportunities. Enroll into school and get some grant money. Tutoring other students in undergrad. Get student work and internships. Then you still have time to work another job so apply to whatever I’m good at. I also can use some of that money get a shampoo license and charge hourly plus tips. Heck get a power ball ticket for the next 3 draws. I find a lot of jewelry so pawn gold. Buy me some tools and do yard work. Buy a chain saw do tree removal. 😂 all of this could add up to 10k in 7 days or more.
This is what I really try to do now. Mark gives us a lot of examples how we can start and I feel like this video was made exactly for me. I moved from Russia to the USA 4 years ago and didn't even speak in english. Now time feels better and I run a small production in LA, Miami and NYC, we usually make music videos but I was tired of the clients who wanted to work just once. Sometimes more but not like everyday. This his wht I'm looking forward to start working as an agency and produce more content for the clients. It feels like $10k is coming

Great strategy Mark-any creative entrepreneur could follow your model in whatever niche/line of business they fall into. It’s all about gaining that experience, your own prescribed on the job training!

Perhaps, but if you present credibly, ask enough people and offer a guarantee, you'll find enough for whom $1500 is great value and worth the risk.
I would not expect mark to do the full 7 day challenge, but actual practicality-tests would be cool here and there.
Making a video to go viral is not nearly as easy as it sounds and often times a lot of luck is involved. People make millions of useless short videos that nobody fuckin' cares about. On the other hand, if you already have a 1.8M channel of youtube, you might have a slight advantage...
Sayin "I'm a multi-million blabla" and how _incredibly_ "easy" it is to get rich really makes mark look like a douche. There is also luck involved man, don't forget about this
My common sense tells me this is a lesson, an idea, a trampoline if you will, to propell you into the right direction. It is completely doable and you can take your time to reach your goal, not oly 7 days as suggested by Mark. So thank you for this video, you got a new subscriber❤
Thats really great work but can be very speculative. I would grind the flipping and then do some quick side hustle services. Then on day 7 put it all on red for all or nothing and get my 10k lol

The most difficult step in this would be finding those clients and you just go "then I would find 7 clients and bam, profit!". Not sure it's even possible to get 7 clients in one day when you only have experience from 6 days before to show from.

Thanks for sharing. If it’s one thing I’ve seen positive millionaires do in this challenge is be very resourceful and not let pride get in the way. It’s two traits that separate those who can make it all again and those who got lucky once but can’t repeat the same fortune.

@@marktilbury thank you Mark for taking the time to reply to my comment. You are right, the main point is to take action. Maybe the timeline is extremely tight. The market of video editors is saturated, and you might need to be extremely talented to stand above all of them.
I put on sell many of the things I no longer use .. and usually the people only offer 30% of the sell price.
I think the best idea for quick money is to buy a car in high demand, fix it yourself and sell it for 10% or 20% more than the purchase price (including the price of the material used to fix it). But again, you need skills and talent to do that.

Thank you for the insight sir. I'm a 53 yr young retired commercial fisherman. We don't know much about these things being out at sea all the time. If i needed 10k fast, I'd go find the closest harbor and make a deal with a boat owner to take me to the sea mountain and catch big tuna. If all went well I'd have 10k by morning. Sorry but that was so farfetched. There is some credibility in flipping stuff from the tip as I have seen people skip a lot of decent stuff, however, many recycling centres will not allow you to take stuff from them. So that is really a non starter. You will never find 7 people to part with 1,500 ea off the back of a 3 day portfolio either.
Imagine if you buy a metal detector and it catches a mine forgotten from WWII and you try to dig it up to see what it is full of joy 😀
