People seem to think that Zettlekasten will do the thinking for them, but it will not. As long as you can find what you need, your system works, especially when you consider how much time your approach will save!

Hey Dario, I want to say thanks for having the vulnerability to venture a bit into your own personal journal entries. You mentioned how you've evolved this mindset of associating life with "suffering" and have transmuted that into "acceptance." That resonated with me and makes me quite happy for you because you can see it in your personal image/energy/aura. Watching your personal growth/transformation being supported by these systems in real time is a very great way to lead by example.
I don't usually consider myself to be on the consumer side of things (I don't purchase templates and things of that nature very often unless for market research), however, I think I'll be grabbing your project management set today. I've been gaining a lot of great inspiration and insight recently into how you've been using Logseq and Tana in tandem and I am also bullish on this idea for using Tana for more effective project management and input processing. I'm looking forward to tinkering with your Tana project management template to help speed up my implementation and experimentation process of managing my focus.

Thanks Dan, I appreciate the kind words. Still a journey though, oscillates week to week 😏
I hope you're finding the template useful 🙏🏼

I think one of points that isn’t discussed is that Luhmann didn’t have access to hypertext. He had to create bidirectional links, implement classification, and manage references by hand.
While it created an impressive looking & very functional PKM, it has more of a linear nature and the method feels like overkill when you can use LogSeq’s links, block/page IDs, block/page refs, properties & tagging.
If a user is looking to track the evolution of their ideas or understanding of a concept, ZK makes sense. But if a user is only interested in emergent ideas and connections: properties and tagging are the best way to go, IMHO.

Will you still update the Logseq mastery course or will you soon completely switch to Tana? 😢

I don't plan to switch completely to Tana. Logseq is still a pillar of my system, and when they eventually come out of beta mode I imagine the course will need a few updates.

Those folder structuring methods are absolutely unnecessary in modern software with tagging. Zettelkasten and other could work together with tagging, but usually they only drag user's Focus away from true data markup. Tagging/linking is more like making folders in more dimensions. Google drive has tags that look like folders and most people don't even realize they're tags and that they can assign any number of folders to a file. So some build their folder structure methods in a good will, not realizing they actually downgrade their data management... Tagging and linking is super simple, but requires change of mind.

HI Dario, was watching the video with Beau Hann and was curious if you know how we can set up the Permanent Note page and Relevant note page in Logaeq similar to how he as it structured. Not sure how all are being collected into the Permanent note page . Any thoughts ? You can see at 35:00 in the video ruclips.net/video/KoddCmn3eL0/видео.html
    much thanks

Hey Alex. I'm not particularly fond of Beau's approach, but have a look at this video where another Alex discusses his approach, which is similar to Beau's ruclips.net/video/VuuS468xgyw/видео.html

In fact, Dukkha "suffering" is the first noble truth in Buddhism. Not "life is suffering."
