This guy is the pinnacle of a motor enthusiast. Works on everything mechanical and seems to absolutely love it. Such a guy, great video Peter.
I like that he gets most excited about a little 125cc Sachs engine.
Love the energy of this guy. You kinda know he's ahead of you.
That's what I love about sweden and that as a small country (in population). Knowledge, skills and motivation! The swedish attitude...disgn, manufacturing en have the motivation to realize it in Sweden!
Dude's a mechanical genius, gearhead, computer wiz, and all in enthusiast!
Bravo
This was an awesome shop tour! As a machinist myself, I love the layout of the shop.
YES! Clean, and so much space! Logically laid out. Love it.
What a guy and what a workshop he had! Amazing. Ha was a true car, boat and bike enthusiast. Great video!
Just amazing stuff! When he said "some of the machines here, we bought them very cheap" and so on... I immediately thought to myself "this is how real business is done". Hats off big time! Nowadays there is so much "stuff" floating around because of odd deadlines, budgets, people who don't understand basic or advanced mechanics or are not wanting to "use time" to make stuff work again (and even better than before), and so on... I really appreciate people with broad knowledge of stuff, even if they are not making big waves in those industries.
This guy is living the dream. Big respect
This is the inside of the hot rod shop with the one person that actually lives for this
Thanks for one of the best shop tours
First time i've heard Swedish Rally-English, love it!
Also, as someone that works at an engine factory, I'm rather surprised how few steps it is! I think our shortest line is around six machines, and our longest probably closer to 100.
You should look up Petter Solberg, Norwegian Rally-English 😅
Or marcus grönholm, finnish rally english 😂
Same English teacher as they used on the finnish Hydraulic press channel! 😀 👍
I've heard a lot of French Rally-English, mainly bc my dad was a big Sébastien Loeb fan.
You can tell this man has a passion and is living his dream! Thank you for showing us, very inspiring.
What an awesome shop tour! I know there are plenty of these hidden gem hi-tech workshops in Sweden, so would be awesome if you made a series out of these Peter.
You could do many parts just this workshop! Love it!
What a terrific guy to show us all his secrets...and one of the most immaculate shops I've ever seen...just Awesome in every way......"We just make a few connecting rods to pay for our toys and hobbies...!!"
School book example of Swenglish. You have a lot to learn Peter! 😝
😂
I bet that the average Englishman or American speak Swedish worse than the average Swede speak English!
(:P)
😂🤣
Difficult to understand your comment. It‘s rude and inaccurate. I find the english clearly spoken, and grammatically correct. Maybe as a non-native english speaker yourself you have a lot to learn.
@@billfromgermany Bill, woke is not cool. Life is too short to be thin skinned. Call me an A-hole, tell me I look like a troll, or maybe that I have a face that only a mother could love. I'll laugh right along with you. Even if I was missing a leg and you said you've got a leg up on me. I would laugh hysterically. These are the moments in life we remember. Scowling around every corner benefits no one.
What a great video. Intersting, informative. And fantastic energy from that man! Brilliant to see that the pinnacle of engine engineering and motorsport still starts with committed, knowledgeable and passionate individuals
Amazing shop tour. As someone who works in the motorsports world, I'm well aware that not all parts are produced by the suppliers we buy from. This look into the connecting rod industry is quite informative. Thank you.
Fantastiskt person. Tack för videon. 😊
I love the more frequent videos I found your channel a couple weeks ago and I’ve been watching them constantly. I was hoping you would start uploading more and you have.
Loved every aspect of this tour! The presenter was awesome and obviously knows his craft in many different domains.
really cool to see! Nice that koenigsegg source parts from sweden!
The part about American "Wee-8" engines was my favorite! Positively fantastic video. Cheers to all the very dedicated craftsmen who make these mechanical marvels. I enjoyed the engineering, machining and manufacturing overview.
I love seeing people have a passion in what they do
Amazing, thank you for the tour! Millions of dollars in some phenomenal machinery, this man is so smart!! I so wish I had the ability to change the stroke of a crankshaft and shorten the rod on my 80's Honda ATC engines, very expensive procedures...
This is great, thank you for the tour.
Great video, alot of information about all of those big machines. Keep it up!
Fantastic Tour. Detailed, informative. AMAZING
Quality as always
How cool is that guy??!! Awesome vid! That shops power bill has to be outrageous!
Gotta love the Swenglish.
This guy has so much knowledge, that’s not replaceable...you can tell the passion he has for this type of career..The cost of all those machines , I wonder how they can produce there product in the quantity’s needed to pay for all the costs involved .
Haha I just can’t get over his pronunciation of “forging” with a hard G. Never heard it pronounced that way! 😂
Nice to see the ladybug hydroplane race boat again.
I remember it well as it was fitted out at the factory where I did my apprenticship.
Good time's
Nice shop tour. Cheers for sharing
2:16 Johnny Dangerously - *Forking Eyeshole*
Super intresting, please make these factory / shop videos more Peter.
This episode could easily be 1 hour!!
Thanks really interesting, and what a passion for the work he does!!
I also have custom rods made by Stefan. 200hp per rod for my supercharged Viper 8.3L V10
Every time you turned around the tools and toys got better. Very cool tour! Greetings from Alaska.
That was alot of fogging for one video haha.
Thanks for the video. I have s small Machine shop myself and I love seeing a small shop doing high end stuff.
Tack! Roligt att se Svenska företag i framkant inom sitt gebit 👍🏻
Another great video Peter. Many thanks, your English is very good and you are very easy to listen too and understand. I hope your friend makes some Rods for my M119 Mercedes 6liters v8 soon
Excellent, first for me total process of Forged Conrod Manufacturing Process
It is hard to believe that the ICE will be phased out by 2030 after watching this video. Love it …want to see more workshops developing engine blocks and heads. Thank you Peter.
Always wondered where Mike Southwards boat went, now I know, saw it run once it was a missile. Mikes dad was a pioneer and all round clever bugger too.
The bigger machine advantage is something learned from many years, thanks, good to know.
always nice to listen Portugal doing nice things even at 50cc range =)
Och sen ej att förglömma "leksaks hörnan" he he.
Nice connecting rods.
Very good engineering and technology.
Thanks for sharing.
Take care, EM.
Very impressive shop . Great to see you’re making your own tools and dies / machine refurbs . That’s real passion for engineering .
Im very impressed with his workshop.
And the F1 powerboat and aprilia 125cc GP1 in the background.
Engineers are fasonated by machines.
Fantastic video and tour, great hearing from a gentleman with such a depth of knowledge, wonderful workshop all round 👌👌
Jävligt bra video. 👌
From Portugal, nice 50cc Sachs conecting rods 😂
Ladybug was a legendary boat in NZ! Thanks
Brilliant! stefan is a real enthusiast too. Great tour, thanks
Another awesome video from Peter!!
Great episode!!
Thanks to You and the Auto Verdi Team!!
This should really interesting! Can’t wait to watch it! Thank you for the insight and content friend.
Lysande! Grym energi och positivism hos Stefan!
Love to see a business run to fund a life and hobby. It's the right way to enjoy your job🙏
Very cool and humble guy. Geez frick what a massive process to make a Conrod, much more elaborate than I would've guessed. I was thinking "Yeah, he got all that but what about peening?" Not even 10 secs later "Here's the small 0.5mm hardened steel balls for peening". 😂 Fark me, he is way ahead of my wildest dreams.
Nice! I have Auto Verdi rods for my GTiR engine
GTI-R, great car well ahead of its time back when it was new. Sadly, hard to find a good one that's affordable. Take good care of it!
Great tour of a top class facility
Wow, great visit. This guy is legendary.
Very interesting man...Great shoptour, thx :)
Some awesome machining going on in this shop!
This gent is like a walking computer, and very willing to share. I used to work at a DB engine manufacturing plant, I loved the sound of the big V-engines running in the test bays when coming to work, and going down to the line on a Friday at 2PM after all factory workers had left, to check out the machinery responsible for the grinding of cranks, con-rods etc. 11:17, I thought SAAB closed down?
Im at 6:00 and thinking what an amazing engineer... Thank you so much for sharing!
Insane factory, insane talented Stefan.
Great video! Stefan is a very nice person , I had the pleasure to met him last year in Germany at the Professional motorsport expo
Wow, thanks for the tour man, its really nice too see what behind the scene.
Awesome, great insight and company 👍
Great tour. Great people.
Get that gent a horizontal.

What a Beautiful Clean Workshop , its like a Machine Tool Show Room or Like a Museum .. Whoaa 😍😍 Fantastic Video .. this made my Day Thank you so Much , From India
Everyday you come across people who should also have a RUclips channel!
love the Swedish pronouncing/accent going on.
FORG-ING
Thanks for share this video Peter
So clean, very nice tour thank you👏 Also I hope he finds time to enjoy his engine building hobbies and get them out for a spin.
He loves wrenching and it shows! Awesome honest guy
Skojigt å Bra. Hoppas På Lite Nytt Från Bilarna. Å Alla E. Kvar.Ha De Bäst.
Fantastic tour!!.. Made me feel like a tour in Heaven.. 😁🏆
Forging hell! this guys is good!
I’m sure with all his machines he’s addressed the valve guide issue on his ZO6 corvette. LOL
Nice video
Little known legendary company!
What a mother forging great video!
Incredible tour. Thanks!!!

Very cool video, loved the tour and the guide was a nice guy :D
I would love to work at Verdi. Seems like a very nice place to work 👍😀
Another rock star machinist
Loved this!! Very cool stuff!
