@@ImpunkOi If your character runs too fast while trying to buy golden eggs, turn off "EGGS" in the Character Selection Screen and you can still buy golden eggs from the merchant. I started playing a week ago and a ton of videos are 1-2 years old. This video was exactly what I needed. Funnily enough I found out how broken the cats were last night and my endless run is still running 12 hours later lmao.
@@Toa_13 Yeah, I would get a different combination of builds going each nite and see how long they would last. I had a couple go for close to 24 hours. I tried to pick up all of the chests one time and it was literally impossible to do.
12 hours into Vampires Survivors on PS so most of the newer part of the video went over my head, the bit from the revised video about gems grouping into red gems was super interesting.
Dex, I love your videos! You are what got me into Vampire Survivors, and "No Pesticide Required" is on my list of games to grab too :) The videos would not be the same without your narration, and in the times you have opened up about issues you see around you, and advice to give, I have come away with things to think about in a positive way. I hope you continue to be a large presence in my video feed(s?), and that you keep your positive attitude throughout your life! Also, do make sure you're taking breaks when you can - burnout is awful!
I blink and Dex has 100k subs…. I can’t believe it, it feels like yesterday I found Dex’s channel at like what 3k? 5k? Massive congrats man. Well deserved
Another way to kill the reaper that I discovered by accident. Cosmo (+1 recovery every level up) -Sarabande of Healing (to help you survive early levels) -Blood Astronomia -Laurel -Clock Lancet -Paranormal Scan -Sharp Tongue (damage multiplies with recovery) Due to Cosmo's insane recovery and the boosts from Paranormal Scan, by the time the Reaper appeared, each hit from Sharp Tongue was dealing over 30k damage. This was also how I learned that, at least as of my writing this, White Hand only spawns if Red Reaper dies to Crimson Shroud or Infinite Corridor. (I was confused why, at minute 38, there were only three reapers, when there should have been 8) (I also had garlic and 108 Bocce, but they weren't really doing anything by the end)
@@opmike343 Garlic is good for early game and with eggs. It falls off during mid game because the knockback hurts leveling up. Of course that's only if you have other weapons that deal knockback. I just prefer not running Garlic because there are better weapons for almost all part of the game.
An interesting video, but not very beginner-friendly (and what is beginner-friendly is mostly obvious) I haven't found an answer to one of my core questions: do you choose Crown or Curse? Or both? Or neither? At one point, video says EXP is bad, as it level ups enemies too (interesting point, I haven't thought about it). At another point it says "yo, Curse is strong to boost your early game exp, so its good!" (meanwhile, in my experience, Curse just destroys my late game whenever I venture into harder difficulties, while Crown feels actually beneficent) Luck is so super influential on everything, has so many sections in the video, yet still is not worth taking as a stat? Feels weird Torrona's box - the weird item with confusing description, which actually cripples you at highest level - left without explanation or details. I guess, every newbie just has to destroy a run or two with this musthave (because +100% curse is a death sentence, unless you are high on eggs or something). It seems like this must be followed with Banish instead of its highest level. A "pickup range" item was ignored. Its effectiveness is of a mystery to me, feels like trash (when you can just search for a vacuum)
The main reason Crown, Curse and Luck are not worth it to take as an item is simply because evolutions are way stronger, and some items are so good they almost become mandatory - at least if someone wants to perform the best. Empty Tome and Duplicator are good examples for that, but e.g. Candelabrador is a strong 3rd. The 3 other items are usually then used for evolutions, so e.g. Attractorb for La Borra is a dead item slot, and that's how it is for most. A strong build can easily survive +100% Curse, but I'd not recommend this to anyone. Most stats I talk about refer to their utility if you buy them as power ups and to allow someone to make better choices. And while bonus Curse/Growth is strong to level up faster, that doesn't mean someone should continue leveling up at the end of a run. Experience can just be kept on the floor and a strong build is then at it's peak, without the enemies scaling further. The pickup range item is trash. This is not a guide for the game, which I think is how you understood it. These are things where I finished playing the game and wished I knew that from the beginning, so not a guide how to play and win, but rather explaining things while giving tips alongside with that
I really like the game and have over 100 hours of playtime myself, but doesn't the game get incredibly boring when you play it for 1500 hours? Edit: I haven't played half of the Among Us DLC yet, and I haven't even started with the Contra DLC, so I will go back to the Game really soon.
I don't understand. I am complete newb. Which part is the first part in the series where you very first started? This video is confusing by not just going in chronological order. If it were a mega video I would expect to start at PART 1 but this says it is advanced tips and tricks? Where is BEGINNER/STARTER STUFF? You said it was your previous videos updated.. I just don't understand. All of this is just so much info to be thrown at me..
I think the beginner part was supposed to be at 33:40 or somewhere around there. Yeah, not very beginner stuff imo either. I'm a returning player and basically understand almost nothing lol

Is there a specific location we should go to for gold farming on Mt. Moonspell? Thanks for the video, I learnt a lot!

I think soul eater is better, well, of course, soul eater is the evolved version of the garlic
For mobile it’s very good in the late/ end game because of lag

love the amount of ads in this video its amazing!!
I need a Baldurs Gate 3 collab with Vampire Survivors
On the mobile version at least, you can wall glitch by just leaving a bunch of gems on the ground, i do this in library for easy wins sometimes
On Xbox you can walk through any terrain/wall/water with eskizziburs enchanted auto attack whilst walking towards said terrain
