A Viewer Challenged Me To Beat This Hardcore Challenge in Vampire Survivors

So a viewer challenged me to a hardcore challenge - or well, initially I thought it would be really simple. But I will not turn down a proper challenge, so here we go: Beat Boss Rash with Skull'O'Maniac, Torona Curse and starting Wicked Season, on Rose, with only 1 weapon. In hindsight, I could have taken even more curse because at the end it didn't come down to actually killing enemies but just surviving them with a mix of rosaries, freezes and revivals, but all in all this was a proper fun challenge that took way longer than I thought it would.

I just realized now while rewatching the video that there was an unlock sound playing on the end screen, weird O.o
Beating Boss Rash with one weapon unlocks Gyorunton
@@NickArcadeBut...I have Gyorunton and we did Boss Rash a couple of times O.o
@@DexTag The sound will always play wherever you do an unlock condition even if the thing is already unlocked. Like with Moongolow and upgrading all the passives

Still waiting on Dex's most hated challenge. Knife only, banish at level 1 and then use only limit breaks to beef it up. OR really try it with any weapon that isn't an evolution.

On a serious note, to all the men out there.
If one of your balls is growing and taking on a dark red to blue hue while also hanging higher, it's time for the ER. Act fast, a torsion of your testis is a serious condition that hurts like hell, and if not reversed in 4 to 6 hours, you can say farewell to it.
The in game color is not far off, that hit different.
I just love the overall positive attitude of yours...its a gem to watch and listen.
Holy moly, I just finished watching! I'm so glad you beat this! I've been playing on Inverse with Hurry and all power ups enabled including the ones that increase difficulty and the farthest I've gotten was 14:38. Those golems always wrecked me so hard! I'm going to keep going at this! Sehr gut und wunderbar! 😀

Update: Just beat this again on Inverse + Hyper (Hurry off) this time with all the end game items! My Curse was +355% 😶. Rose makes this difficult with all the extra enemies spawning.

Wings can help a lot for survival, usually helps me more than armor when doing challenges like this one.
wings also just an experience increase by enabling you to pick up more
@@e33d90 That matters little if you have Wicked Season as you collect most of it in a single red gem, but if you don't use it then yes.
Update: Completed this challenge last night, and just completed this again with Inverse+Hyper and with all the end game passives! I ended up with +355% Curse 😶
Damn! This was such a crazy challenge! I love these difficult runs :))
Challenge: Play Rose in the Library with max curse(skull, torrona, golden ring, red arrow) and after you achieve MAX CURSE just keep moving in one direction while having weapons that attack ONLY infront of you
Gotta see a full whip build with this character now since it’s possible!! :)
Something I’d love to see would be if you used both birds on Cosmo with Gemini. In your decent into madness video you considered limit breaking Ebony Wings but were scared off by using Excadash.
I tried replicating this challenge, and for the 3rd Arcana I took the double healing one, and it was relativelly easy. Recommend taking it.
Is it really full curse if you don't get the metaglio and ring?

Can’t you cheese the hell out of this with arca (or whoever the lightning one is) then game killer? Pretty sure that’s how I did the challenge in the first place.
You should do a Gemini build (take all the weapons affected by gemini)
I tried beating first stage with the new char, reverse, arcana all active and I found her to be seriously lacking power
How come the Empty Tome said it increased cooldown by 80% instead of the usual 8? That just seems incredible broken
If it said that its a bug, a bunch of the stats show their actual value multiplied by 10

We have to go further: 100€ if you beat Limit Break the Arrow on Lake Foscari with Wicked Season as First Arcana (Default Dex one Weapon Limit Break). JK xD
@1:45 15 minute stage, 35 minute video, no Crown offsetting -65% Growth, I suspect things may not go according to plan...

To be fair, the items were not included in the list and I don't think they would have changed anything anymore, since the main issue was surviving the masses and Curse doesn't increase their damage. If you check kill numbers at 12+ minutes, I pretty much kill nothing anymore

I'm pretty sure that Max curse would literally be impossible unless you used eggs but I'll def give it a shot lol

Why dont you just take the green tree arcana from the start? Then you get all the stuff out on the map, and you are Demi God, you are unkillable. I`m not an expert, but I did that yesterday, and where standing there fighting reapers on 45min. Oh, nvm.. you did it in the end ^^,
I kinda explained in the beginning I wanted to avoid it because it was the easy way out of the challenge, I usually prefer trying other ways of doing something instead of the one I think is the best way - just because it allows to explore alternatives and test out things I wouldn't have done otherwise
