The bracelet is gorgeous! I always found it interesting that PP made a watch named after the god of the sea but it had less water resistance then the Aquanaut or Nautilus.
It's super cool and unlike anything we've seen-- leave it to Patek to create some of the most interesting bracelet designs. You bring up a good point; the water resistance took a back seat to the dressy nature of the model. It's kind of like how Panerai's Luminor Due were more svelte and elegant but lacked the full WR of the traditional Luminor models.
