I loved the comment “ Saved my bacon” 🥓 😂 great tips as it’s really winter here in Wisconsin USA 🥶 I’m ready for the temps to rise & get some riding in! Cheers 🍻
Nice tips thank you. I had ride during 2 winters in Paris years ago. And you learnt me at least 2 good tips (air pressure and follow a truck on the high way)
One of the best decisions I ever made when purchasing my bike was the heated grips. I use thermal gloves instead of heated ones though. Can honestly say my hands stay warm. And depending on the heat level of my grips some times too warm lol. Surprisingly the Oxford ones are relatively cheap at around £60. I didn’t know this when I got the Honda ones. :-/ I bought my son the Oxford ones for his bike for Christmas, he was struggling with summer gloves and no heater during -3 temps. Crazy kid.
I use Keis heated gloves jacket trousers As I’m on my bike for about 40 minutes Sometimes I use a ski mask depends how cold it is Not too bad when you’re on the national speed roads keeps me nice and warm Yes, it’s a bit expensive but better than freezing Some good tips in there mate
Awesome video, a personal tip from me who basically rides every day hail or shine would have to be don't make the rookie mistake I did and almost lost control of my bike by accelerating really fast then then down shifting too quick...back tyre spins haha, only trust your traction control to a certain point haha. Also wait until the first shower of rain to pass so all the oil washes away from the road cuz yeah oil and water don't mix haha espcially here in the hotter climate of Australia. I was also recently thinking about once I get my new gloves for winter, I might carry my old ones in my backpack cuz yeah unless you have really good gloves a bit of water and all of a sudden your loosing at least 30%-60% less grip on the throttle and if your anything like me who likes to rev it out sometimes when I'm feeling no fear 🤣 on a dead back road 😁 like one wrong move and your hands could slip to make you go faster or something and yeah that might not end well. Since I got my cb650r 3 weeks ago i cant stop the feeling of just wanting to revv it out to 8000 plus rpm on 2nd and 3rd haha.
Heated gloves are a must for riding in anything below 40 degrees F. I bought some heated gloves from FLY racing made for snow machine riding and they are amazing!

You have the same heated gloves as mine. How has the quality been? I bought mine in OCT 21 and they've gone to shit basically. The battery is not holding a charge and the pull cords are fraying. Wanna know if the same is happening to you.
Pinlock is must-have thing for temperatures under 20 degrees :) Unfortunately, there are no pinlocks for glasses - glasses are a real pain in the ass for riders who don't like lenses.
I've been riding for 10+ years, and I only recently came across Pinlock inserts. OMG! 🤯
They are a definite must-have for winter riding
Yeah I had never heard of them before either 🤣.

Happy I could help :)
living in Canada, winter riding is rough, but as soon as it gets above 0degrees C we get out there for short rides. great tips tho & beautiful bike.
Oh boy, I can't imagine riding in winters over there 🤣. Thanks for watching.
For me I'll wait for at least 10C (in NS), air off the water is just too damn cold lol

Yeah heated grips are great, and for £60!! Yeah I think that was a great christmas gift 🤣.

YT hid your comment for review, they were afraid that you were spitting too much facts!!! 🤣🤣🤣. Great tips, I will use a few of those for myself!!!!

Yeah I agree, even the best winter gloves fail to keep your hands warm after a while. Heated gloves are the way to go!!
Awesome man! You posted 😃 just like you said you will... Appreciate you coming up with them tips hardcore.
I keep my promises 🤣🤣, glad you enjoyed and thanks for the support!!!!

@@Worldofdocumentary_now That's powerful!!
Not looking forward to riding this winter but is the only way I can get to work =(
Same here 😔. As long as we prepare and take it easy we will be fine 😁.
@@tvtwistasmoto I hope so, take care out there as well, I'll be trying my best to stay alive.

I just got mine, but stay tuned for updates.
Do you have the baffle in the exhaust? If not, did you tune it ?
No I don't have the baffle in, I got the bike with the exhaust fitted so I can't say for sure if it was tuned. But I think it was.

I never thought of that........I have lenses lol 🤣🤣. But every now and then i ride in the glasses so i know the pain.
What's a good tyere pressure for the cbr650r I've just got same model as yours
Google will give u a better answer than me. I can't remember now.
Don't forget your Ascot's guys lol
I'm embarrassed to say....but......I don't get it 🤣.
Another Canadian here. Today it is -35°C with the windchill and we have about 2 ft of snow. Nooo way I’m riding 😂
Oof!!! Yeah I think that's a smart move 🤣🤣.
