- Chris Stapleton and Patty Loveless rework Loveless’ Gretchen-Peters-penned-classic “You Don't Even Know Who I Am” as a duet at the special one-night-only benefit concert Kentucky Rising.
(They should release this as a single!) - Видеоклипы
I don't even think she knows how much she is missed and how much country music needs her back.
Amen on that!
Amen!! And, who do we tell to make sure she is inducted in the Country Music Hall of Fame?! I guess I assumed she was because of how amazing she always has been…I was shocked to find out she wasn’t. This is a travesty that needs correcting.
Yes yes yes! And YES
I so much agree with you.
Amen. Crying right now. Magic.
This is 100% better than ANYTHING on country music radio right now. ❤
Hello Felicia how are you doing today?
Yes!
That is so true! I could listen to duets like this until the cows come home. Patty/Vince, Loretta/Conway, George/Tammy, et.
Not everything, but close to it.
Absolutely
In case anyone forgot this is actually country music
Amen to that.
The amount of talent there was amazing
Indeed Patty is still my favorite female singer of all time. Such a class act
He and she is my favorite country artist of all time she brings me to tears every time I listen to her I remember my mom, crying and listening to her dancing in the living room and growling at 0:46
At 89 years old I can say that I have seen the best of country music... And this is some of the best!!!
🎯🎯🎯 54 Sir, and I agree 👍🏻 !
An honour to hear from you! Amazing life experience ❤
Excuse me, you are 89 years young, love! ♡♡♡
Bless you and good music.

I’ve always thought of Patty Loveless as the female George Strait. She just goes out and makes hits, sings them without a bunch of flashiness and just goes home. She’s a legend.
Agreed 💯
She sure is!!! Love her style
SAME!!!!!!!
Agree
She is my favorite
The look of gratitude on her face as she looks around realizing she's right back where she belongs. Big props to Chris for pulling her back in to the spotlight for a generation of people that don't really know who she is. Well, she is greatness.
That's one pretty song it's priceless.
You couldn’t have worded the emotion of her any better..
I remember her video on cmt for this song n cry n sing Everytime ❤ your still beautiful n awesome patty a true queen of country God bless
❣️
Amen and Hell YEAH she is!!
When I listen to Patty Loveless sing, I always hear the sound of the mountains of Kentucky in her voice. So authentic, so beautiful! This is real country music to me. Love you Patty!
Hi Indiana💐💐
Kentucky is a beautiful place....lost the one I waited my whole life for in those hills....hope she is happy cuz she is my one that got away for me.

I could not agree more. I miss seeing her. I wish she would come back! She is a one of a kind talent. Thank you Chris.
Absolutely gorgeous both of them
Patti was emotional throughout the song and still nailed every note. That's a country legend right there.
I thought read somewhere that she has a problem with her throat and that is why she quit. She is wonderful!
@@deejayg1632 You're sort of correct. She had an enlarged blood vessel in her throat that required immediate surgery but that was roughly 30 years ago. It only set her back a year and she was back at it for the rest of the 90s. However she dramatically scaled back her touring from the mid 2000s on which includes just doing an occasional Grand Ole Opry appearance or a sporadic benefit concert like the one she did here with Stapleton. So she hasn't fully retired from performing.
Felt that all way to my Heart ! About brought tears to my eyes
Absolutely Amazing ! Both of them !!
I love this awesome and patty is as great as she was 25 years ago ❤
If Patty Loveless is retired, her voice damn sure doesn’t know it ! Use it while you’ve got it sister you are a STAR ⭐️ ♥️ 😘
Forever a country queen
She was lip syncing....still a star!
AMAN sister
@@kasey9186 I don't think she was because she cracked on the high notes once or twice but still sounded good.

The world needs to hear more Patty Loveless and Chris Stapleton. What a performance - right in the pocket! Can’t listen just once.
Same for me Ollie
Pure magic........ Already watched this video three times
Nope. Watched bout 50 times

Tears…I’ve stopped counting how many times I’ve watched. ♥️
As an Eastern Kentucky boy, there is not enough thumbs up for this video. The fact it was for flood relief made it even better.

She is incredible. Some leave, try to come back and shouldn’t have. Some leave.. come back, and remind you how much you loved them.❤
I've never heard her before. Because culturally I'm not supposed to be into country music. I will never allow anyone to make me miss out on something this beautiful again.
Don't let anyone's cultural bias stop you from fully blossoming into the wonderful you, you're meant to be.
Lot of people discovering good stuff these days. I think people are just tired of society telling them what they have to confirm to. F them!
if it's good stuff it's good stuff!
Don't let cultural biases stop you from being an individual. Be a leader. Not just another follower.
Kaylo492 Culturally your not supposed to??? As humans it is imperative and such a huge blessing that we learn EVERYTHING around us and explore and learn about others and seek what is loved and cherished and meaningful to all others. This helps us to understand ourselves, love ourselves and love others as well. We are all different. Anyone that makes you feel like you are not being you just because you have explored other cultures does not mean you have lost yourself or want to be someone else. It just means you are learning and expanding your mind and your heart for all cultures while still appreciating and respecting and being a part of your own. The one common thread we all tend to forget about is that we are all human.
That's a true statement right there if i ever heard one lol
I love that you pointed it out and glad you have an open mind for something new 💪
Anybody else want to here a whole album of this or is it just me?
LOTS OF US !!!!!
It ain't just you~!!
Yes 100% I would be so in love if they would do it

Reminds me of my Mom, she passed in 2022. She was incredible singer. Chet Atkins produced her records, the Jordanaires sang backup. I'm blessed she gave up singing and was a phenomenal mother to me and my sisters. She would have been bigger than anyone you can name. She had range, power, and emotion. Make you cry or just smile with joy and admiration. She's singing for Jesus and the saints now, I can't wait to see her again. I miss you Mom!
Your mom is in heaven with mine, I wish I could have heard her voice. And I wish i could hear my moms one more time… it’s the hardest thing I’ve ever felt. My mom passed in 2023..for what it’s worth.
She is so missed by country music. No one else like her! Thank u Chris Stapleton❤ beautiful!

She is so humble and still has that great voice as always. Good people age gracefully and she is definitely good people.
Hello how are you? So sorry for the infringe on your privacy. Beautiful song!
Lovely sentiment. Well put.
I agree. Patty loveless always seemed humble. She’s not just a phenomenal singer, she also made music with integrity. Never sold out or cheapened herself. What a gem. ❤
So humble and real in all senses of the word. Chris and Morgan treat her with the respect and reverence she deserves! They know Patti and they know what real country music is. Thank you to the three of you for sharing this with the rest of us!
I love her! Best of the best!❤
Can anybody else relate to the lyrics to the song besides me?
It's so sad that country radio can't play new and old music. It all has so much to offer. She can still sing.........marvelous.
Laurel, my daughter only listen to older country on the radio...I lol & tell her she's an old soul!
How true! Maybe us older folks would enjoy the newer stuff more if they still played the old stuff. Kids under 40 don't know what they're missing. Could learn alot from artists like Patty
and Loretta.
She looks like she is still battling her demons. Plus she just lost a brother who helped her into country music.
I miss hearing her, she is such a great singer. They are a great pairing, love the blend of their voices.
Yeah but a good bit of today’s “country”-isn’t country at all, sadly😞
This is how excellent Patty is she didn't know what song Chris was going to play next.
If you look back on the video she looking at Chris after he asked ( will you do one more) she is trying to think what song is he thinking, then when she recognized it she gives a little smile then goes full mode Patty and nails it like she performed it the day previously asi if she was on tour.
Just think for a moment that if someone calls you up and asked you to come (out of retirement) to perform and you say sure but to do it at they level she did.
My lord, this is unbelievable!!
She truly belongs in the hall of fame!
I agree she is just the best ever
I see that now. Hadn't really paid attention to that detail because I was so moved by the song which I hadn't heard in years. 😔
Wow, what a treat!! I'm so glad this video popped up for me!!
This song is almost 30 years old (1995). And she's still got it.

So touching ❤️ Stapleton recreates an icon Patty Loveless. She forgot who she is; Chris reminded her of her GREATNESS. And yes, Chris is an icon as well, and a musician who remembers the shoulders upon which he build his music ❤
Well written!! It's so true!!
I saw them sing together on the CMA awards. It was AMAZING! Easily one of the best performances of the night.

I absolutely LOVE MRS. PATTY LOVELESS and CHRIS STAPLETON ❤️ 😍 This duet kicks A$$!!!!
🥲♥️
Patty Loveless is so very underrated! She is not only known for her own outstanding music, but for harmonizing and singing high vocals to some of the most famous country songs that you have heard. It is so great to see her on stage! It’s pretty evident that there is a great mutual admiration between she and Chris Stapleton. ♥️♥️♥️
Her duet with Travis Tritt on Out of Control Raging Fire which appeared on a little known album called Mountain Soul is one of the best recordings I've ever heard. I absolutely love her no matter what she does.
I don’t think she’s underrated, she was huge. The problem is that the country music needs to honour its past more. It’s always onto the next cookie cutter artist. Classic country should make a comeback just like classic rock did.
She has provided harmony vocals for Dolly and vice versa
@@stovepipe9er I agree, the term "Under rated" is so over rated these days. What is under rated about patty Loveless?
She sang harmony on an unknown Miranda Lambert song...I say it's unknown because it wasn't played on the radio, it was a song on one of her CD's. I have the CD and loved the song (can't think of the name) and thought the harmony was so beautiful...and familiar. I looked at the credits and realized it was Patty Loveless. She is still amazing!
This song hits so hard as an adult and a child ..
Hearing it with married ears has me bawling 😢😭😭

Hi Sandy💐💐
As good as she is in country music, she knocks it out of the park on bluegrass. Give her Mountain Soul albums a listen.
Yes it is great if you don’t like bluegrass you will when you hear this .
I have never heard bluegrass. I'm going to check this out.
@@Mbg930 The people who came to America had to be selective in the things they choose to bring . People brought their music and their instruments.
The Scotch and Irish who settled in the Appalachian mountains had much influence on Bluegrass if you see Celtic women or watch River dance you hear the origins of Bluegrass in the music . But there were many other people from other countries who influenced it when I listen to music from another country I can almost always hear something that makes me think of Bluegrass . The name Bluegrass was first used when Bill Monroe got Lester Flatt and Earl Scruggs in his band and they sent the tempo into overdrive . The term now includes a broader group of folk music from all over the world brought to America some so old no one knows the author . There is an old song Knoxville Girl that I assumed was talking about our Knoxville TN . It turns out the song refers to Knoxville England . I’m sure you will find you have heard Bluegrass maybe by another name but you will not be disappointed enjoy .
