Is there a fifth wheel version of this?

Great question! Ford's Pro Trailer Backup Assist is what you're looking for when it comes to backing up a fifth wheel or any trailer. It helps guide the trailer with ease, taking the guesswork out of backing up. Is this something you'd want us to cover in another video??

If you can't hook up to a trailer or back a trailer up yourself, ya shouldn't bee hauling a trailer at all.

Dose the 2024 stx come with that option?

Hi @user-iz8ks7oi4q! Each model build could be a little different, but you should see the knob on your center stack if you have it. Most STX's should (keyword should) have it, but it doesn't come standard in Ford vehicles. It is something the customer or dealership has to specifically option on when the vehicle is being "built". If you have more questions, feel free to email us at marketing@jessford.com!

Let your wife hold your purse while you use this feature. If you can’t back up to hitch up, don’t own a trailer

This feature is not needed, it's just convenient. Just like every other tech feature in cars, it's to make life easier.

Perhaps you'd like to remove the autopilot from commercial airliners? I mean if you can't fly a plane don't be a pilot, right? Grow up.

Please add an external microphone for your guest, so we can hear better.
That system looks to be a bit restarted, since the backup camera already identified the trailer hitch point, Yet the driver has to keep pushing/holding on to the Pro Trailer button... and look at how widely turning of the steering wheel and the testing-your-patience speed of the truck backing up - Ug! Very primitive with jerky response - Yes, FORD !

Hi Richardt.953! Noted on the microphone. We will improve that!

Typical cynical commenter with zero clue. Listen, dude, did you see the part where it perfectly aligned the ball and hitch? I don’t care if it did backflips to get there, it nailed it! You have no clue what it takes to do this, and you, my human, couldn’t do it that easily. That’s the whole point. First timer using it, too. Now, if it missed and they had to re-do several times, well then it’s not ready for prime time. But you put a whole lot of effort into criticizing something at WORKED. And who cares about the guest? 🤨

@@tommyrq180 I could do it faster. If you cant back up to a trailer or back up a trailer without assistance, you probably shouldn't be towing a trailer in the first place.
