This map is cool and impressive, but personally I feel like there's kind of a zero-sum phenomenon going on with high population and high-capacity mods. If nearly every building is bigger than vanilla, then a 200k republic is sort of like a 50k vanilla republic, but with more lag.
Fun story. Without mods, I was able to create a city of over 150,000 people. I mashed every single residential building in every possible area of space. I wonder what is the world record for most people in one city area in the game.

Was browsing your clips and stumbled on this one. This map is gorgeous. Kudos to the creator. He managed to replicate 1970s - 1980s eastern european dormitory neighborhoods with high fidelity, even the dense vegetation is great.
I like the idea of a big city (my next map will be that) and the housing and infrastructure is very nice. The part of me that demands a fully-done map frustrates me (but that's just me!) and I will be using much smaller residential buildings (and factories) so more space is occupied. Even with a very high population, I would like to see decreasing rings of population around the big city to flesh out the realism, but very nice job!!
The building on 14:50 (Rudo 1, 2 and 3) are present in Belgrade and widely known as "Western gate". They look absolutely massive in real life because they're built on a hill.
I wanna see a Hugh city with thousand of cars and less traffic jam :) I am currently building a hugh mega city with thousand of cars. The focus is completely different in gameplay. You need lots of parking space and a very good street network with highways, oneway streets and roundabouts.
Really good looking city and map. Easy difficulty? No problem with that, play as you like. This guy is simply loving to build huge city without need to care for too many things at once, so I´ll let him. Not everyone is hardcore.
What I would really like to know and see more is the metro lines. He definitely has one line and you can see it at 23:30, but there is not much shown of it. A pity.
Also low FPS are really not a problem. Even a little "busy crossroad - press play for 10s" wouldn´t be bad. Yes, it will drop FPS, but we would just see how good/bad the game can handle such things. Because this one is impressive and if you will have more, keep them coming!

Hello! Can I download this map somewhere? I mean the populated version that you played, not a layout.
You know, and this is a big if. But in Canada and not sure where else in the world does this. But there are work camps, where workers go for up to 2 weeks at a time. They work in remote areas to somewhat remote places. Could this game not have an option for work camps? fly in fly out? bus in bus out type thing.
You can fly people in and out using helicopters or airplanes. They just teleport back home at the end of the day
@@josejaimes-ramos1546 I suppose. But, it would make more sense and take less resources to schedule bi weekly flights to those places, instead of every 8 hours
Wow its a very beatifull map, i wonder how the city maintain its birth rate, somehow i stuck at ~20.000 citizen that have greater death rate, so i need to exchange export with invite immigrants :(
Your stats should give you some insight of where things aren't quite right, plus the residential buildings should give you a good clue as well.
