I wanted to thank you for your no-nonsense instructional posts. I updated my 2019 Accord Hybrid Touring following your instructions without issue. I also did 75% of the trunk pistons mod. Only need to install the passenger side top connection and tighten everything down.
I hope they add a option for a digital speedometer in mph for us vheicles, and kph for respective countries. As of right now the digital speedometer only shows the opposite of what your physical speedometer unit is. Ie. US cars have a physical speedometer in mph and the digital speedometer is only kph.

Installed the update on my 2018 2.0 Sport and haven't had any connection issues since, but did experience a spontaneous reboot today, so that problem's still there ☹️
Im having the same issue on my 2018 2.0. My car gives this electrical screech then my radio reboots. Ofcourse Im driving so I cant ever catch it to get it on video.
My 2019 Touring 2.0 says up to date and has a different version than any listed on the paper, but a number below the newest listed. Mine is 18AA-1945-001. Anyone else have this?

Thanks man. That app only allows what’s preloaded to be put on the screen. I’ve gone through it and it allows different apps but nothing that’s really important. Just like a calendar and such.
Before when you plug in usb, app will automatically pop up on infotainment system. Now, it does nothing. It says "device not support/recognized". It's a Galaxy S9+ btw.
Mine has done that before. What I did was go into the setting in the car and totally delete the phone and then resync it. I even went into the phone and deleted the car from the Bluetooth. It worked for me. Sometimes it has glitches.
so how does the update happen? is it over the air like tesla? how did it know there was a update? how does it connect over the air to tell you theres a update?

It could be yours isn’t in need of it. I know honda rolls these out based on build dates. Do you have HondaLink app on your phone? Because that will tell you if you need the update

It doesn't seem to work on LX. I have one with a shitier display pre-installed. No update option. Entirely different type of display. Can't get system info file. No capability to update and dealer won't respond to calls. I'm considering filing a complaint.
Did anyone deal with getting an update notification then pressing the update and the screen freezes and stays frozen? Not quite sure what to do its been two days.

Honda Jon on my 18 accord ex I can change the preset to a new one, can change a mix or replace it with a new mix or station but cannot delete or remove entirely.
Honda Jon a lot of cars, even my old Passat let you remove presets and they go back to the default blank or unassigned. With the seasonal channels on sirusxm it was nice to remove them once the channel changed.
Honda rolls out updates based on build dates. If yours has any issues it would be possible that they roll another one out soon. They usually batch them
Honda's have nothing but problems now.. had Honda's since 1984.. as generations pass they get worst.. I have 2016 touring , had front end vibration above 65, head unit out 3 times, windshield moldings loose, sunroof sits higher on drivers, honda collision system went out completely just being parked. no cruise, Lane assist etc.. only reason I've kept it after fixing problems except collision system is the V6.. I'll never buy another Honda..

Once in a while mine will do that too. Even our pilot once in a while. Little glitch.

Yeah it’s over the air. Just connect to your wifi at home and it will update.

There should definitely be a setting. You have to make sure you allow your phone to pair with it. Should be the same as the touchscreen models
Handsfree link has to work to be able to remove prvious devices on the 2018 LX model. It's 2021 and my dealer has no fix. Avoid the LX lemon. Lol
My backup camera has been like a rainbow greenish lately why just one day it happen what can it be ? Can I update it
I don’t think so. I would make sure the connection is good between the wire harness and camera

Either that or it already has it. Someone else mentioned their car is already updated and they too live in Canada

No. You can plug your phone in I believe to do it but it’s easier over WiFi.
I did the software update and my screen its bedn frozen on the "Installing" for two days now.... I cant listen to the radio or anything. Its frozen
That’s a very common thing. Simply disconnect the battery for 30 minutes and you’ll be all good.
Any hack to watch video on the screen by using our phone or usb connection yet? I feel like the civic have way better options on the screen
If you have a jailbroken iphone I know you can using carbridge app. I’ve seen people doing that.

You have to have a jailbroken phone. Then you can get an app that allows that.

If it’s not on yours then Honda didn’t include it in the update. Sometimes they roll out new updates later
My screen is stuck on installation complete 100% but I can’t get out of that . I’ve tried restarting my car nothing has worked
You’ll have to disconnect the battery for 10 minutes. That will help.

The paper says 2018 but I would definitely go to the software update app on your screen and see if there’s u update. If so it will be on there 👊🏼

My 2019 said “your system is up to date.” Would it have downloaded automatically?
I believe it probably was running a different version from the factory. Shows you how long it takes for these releases.

It’s much easier if you do. I think you can plug in your phone and do it that way with the data.
