I got 70% PTSD filed an appeal and finally got 100%PTSD P&T. I saw two psychologists and a psychiatrist over a period of about two years to get it all done.
We have to go through it all again after living through it, explaining it while in-service, out of service to multiple MH Specialists? It's not easy to explain and throws me back to the place which can take time to get out of again.
I think it's great that you touched on the fact that alot of us don't want to leave and don't want to associate with people. I'm a 100% for PTSD and my wife just applied for my P&T and they want me to see another psych. Evaluation. Is this common? already

He refused. He wasted 45 minutes trying to authenticate the stressor. I could tell these exams were his sole source of income. I don't expect anything good to come from it.

You cannot be a real VA law firm telling veterans they have to go to a C&P exam. A veteran has every right to submit a private DBQ from their own doctor. The DBQ is what’s required, not the C&P exam. That private DBQ has to be held with the same credibility as a VA C&P exam by law and a veterans claim cannot be denied for not attending the C&P when a private doctor DBQ was submitted. I didn’t go to a single VA scheduled C&P exam and I’m rated at 100%.
Please answer this ..Can I get a d qb or whatever it is from the VA?? As of now I don't have a private doctor but they should be able to look at my records and make a decision that I sustain my hundred percent PTSD disability which I've had for like 7 years

There is no PTSD C&P exam .They dont design C&P exams for specific mental illness's. If you have to prep for a mental illness exam then you dont have one.
in order to claim PTSD with the VA, you need to have already been diagnosed with PTSD. The C&P is to determine if its service connected and how bad it affects your every day life. The C&P is NOT to diagnose you with PTSD.

Put claim in with VA rep at Va or go a VA lodge to file a claim
