@@gothamista I love the Milano CC serum (it's the best Vit C serum I've come across) and so I gave the CC Lotion a shot - it works well in combination, I find. Together with the Tranexamic acid and a Vit C serum, I see a remarkable difference (1,5 years ago I battled adult acne and I tried all kinds of things to fade the marks. Now they're almost entirely gone).
I don’t understand why people pay high prices for tiny bottles of hyauloronic serums or even water creams when Hada Labo makes so many wonderful HA products at a fraction of the cost. The Premium is my favorite as well and I apply it prior to tretinoin which I attribute to the ease I’ve had with adjusting to retinoids!
@@hylcelrin Yes. I apply Hada Labo to my face when it’s still damp after cleansing and giving my face a quick spray with a rice and ceramide toner. I let it dry and then apply tretinoin. Finally after waiting about half an hour I apply my soy and ceramide rich night cream. By sandwiching tretinoin between a layer of hydration and a rich moisturizing and somewhat occlusive night cream, I don’t experience any of the irritation nor compromise my skin barrier. The tretinoin still does a beautiful job! 💕
So I should buy this instead of a Hyaluronic serum ? I have acne prone skin combination type but dehydrated and needs hydration. Will it not be heavy on my skin and clog pores ?

The Gokugyun lotion is the first Asian skincare products I ever purchased, when I first started branching out after watching your channel years ago. Now, most of my skincare and a minority of my cosmetics collection is consists of Asian brands. I have tried all the Hada Labo lotions in light and moist versions. I particularly like the vitamin C light version even though it was not your favourite, and the red alpha in the moist version. I also love the original for my hair as well - I keep it in a little mist bottle and spritz over my hair once or twice a day, it takes down the static from being in a dry office environment and gives my strands some moisture and gloss without any weigh down. So glad you made this comprehensive review and comparison! I'll admit that each time I tried a new lotion, it was trial and error because I can't read the label! It's nice to hear your opinion on these, I'm thinking of trying the blue bottle again but in the premium version this time based on your information - I did not realize this premium version was different!
Using skincare in the hair wow I am mind blown!! I will probably buy the original lotion just to put it into my hair. But I am curious to know if other simple toners work just as good? (I have the Rovectin, Soon Jung and Klairs unscented toners)

Ugh I love you so much!!! You were the on that introduced me to Hada labo about 4 years ago, and I’m so grateful that I found this line! No other toner/lotions hydrate my skin like these products. Whenever I use retin a, I use this to combat the dryness, and the flakiness is almost unnoticeable. As you know, retin a cause sever flaking, but this almost eliminates that! After washing my face after a night of retin a, my skin feels very dry and itchy, but after putting this on, that is immediately relieved! And it does so for the rest of the day! I use the shoryujun one and and premium and it will be a staple in my skincare FOREVER! Take everything away but leave me with these and I’ll be ok! Lol. Such a great and informative video!!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

Wish Tretinoin was available OTC.I first heard about Hadalabo from you and wondered what it was. At the time, I was into Korean skin care. I can vouch for Shirojyun range. I've had uneven skin tone and lot of deep pigmentation. Although I have been using skinceutical's vitamin C, I did not get the result I desired. Then I add hada labo's shirojyun's tranexamic acid essence to my routine. I couldn't believe the effect I have been seeing, it boost's my vitamin C serum and accelerated the brightening effect. This is so synergic with skinceuticals and i had no reaction. Although I have used other ranges from Hada Labo, I don't get "wow" effect as same as this product gives me. Thanks for the review!!!

I bought Gokujyun Face Wash at Watson when I ran out of my regular line face wash while being stuck overseas during the pandemic. I loved it right away. I have used Gokujyun Line since. I should try the Sherujyun Premium. This is what my skin needs the most. I’m glad I come across your video.

How come you ALWAYS know what's on my mind? After being afraid to buy Hada Labo lotions (I have the feeling some HA's dehydrate my skin, even if I apply products on damp skin) I'm finally considering buying one since everyone keeps talking about how they are cra-zi-ly hydrating. My skin is easily dehydrated so these sound like a godsent.
Also love the Gokujun Premium Gel combined with micro current. The Curel lotion is a great alternative for sensitive skin or those who do not tolerate HA.
Oh dear, I just went off and bought like almost all of them, and I already have a couple of the originals and one premium. I've had them for a while. Don't use much and they are quite big! I may just start using them all over my body!
Dont be fooled by the watery texture of Shirojyun (light). I live in a humid country so this could feel a little bit oily but definitely moisturizing. Maybe in cold countries, you wont notice it. But for someone who lives in hot, humid climate like here in SE Asia maybe stick to light rather than the moist/rich variant unless you are in an AC room the whole time. 😉
I started with the white bottle then I switched to the gold premium and have been loving that formula for years. I have recently added the blue premium bottle to the mix, as well. The gold bottle is by far my favorite. I want to try the red bottle, I think it would be good for body use.

Haha this video took years to finally make for the same reason! I just stuck to the original gokujyun and premium because I was clueless about the others!
I usually use premium cream in the winter and premium lotion in the summer, but recently tried alpha cream...WOW! I really like it!! also use combinations of serums (Vit C and peptides, lactic acid and retinol..in rotation and SUNSCREEN ALWAYS!!) At 51, my skin has never been better!! more hydrated, more supple and softer! Hada Labo is affordable and effective.
I have oily skin and accidentally buy the orange gokujyun lotion but it's work really well! just make sure not applying too much just few drops (i use it like 4-6 drops) and makes my skin plum, hydrate and reduce oil on my face. and bc I use it just few drops it really last long, I'm talking about 4-6 months lol

Use Hada Labo since 10 yrs while I was in shanghai! The premium yellow is a goal as conductive for microcurrent! It’s great and no need to wash out!

I love layering the Whitening (tranexamic acid) and the Arbutin Shirojyun (in this order). It gives me the brightest skin.

I can vouch for Shirojyun range. I've had uneven skin tone and lot of deep pigmentation. Although I have been using skinceutical's vitamin C, I did not get the result I desired. Then I add hada labo's shirojyun's tranexamic acid essence to my routine. I couldn't believe the effect I have been seeing, it boost's my vitamin C serum and accelerated the brightening effect. This is so synergic with skinceuticals and i had no reaction. Although I have used other ranges from Hada Labo, I don't get "wow" effect as same as this product gives me. Thanks for the review!!!

There is another lotion from Hada Labo. It is Hada Labo Peeling Lotion. It is an exfoliating lotion with PHA.

I bought Gokujyun Face Wash at Watson when I ran out of my regular line face wash while being stuck overseas during the pandemic. I loved it right away. I have used Gokujyun Line since. I should try the Sherujyun Premium. This is what my skin needs the most. I’m glad I come across your video.

How come you ALWAYS know what's on my mind? After being afraid to buy Hada Labo lotions (I have the feeling some HA's dehydrate my skin, even if I apply products on damp skin) I'm finally considering buying one since everyone keeps talking about how they are cra-zi-ly hydrating. My skin is easily dehydrated so these sound like a godsent.
Make sure you apply a moisturizer immediately after to lock in all the hydration. :)

Also love the Gokujun Premium Gel combined with micro current. The Curel lotion is a great alternative for sensitive skin or those who do not tolerate HA.
Oh dear, I just went off and bought like almost all of them, and I already have a couple of the originals and one premium. I've had them for a while. Don't use much and they are quite big! I may just start using them all over my body!

I use the Shirojyun Premium on my body before moisturizer and it gives wonderfully glowing skin. My scars are fading as well.
Dont be fooled by the watery texture of Shirojyun (light). I live in a humid country so this could feel a little bit oily but definitely moisturizing. Maybe in cold countries, you wont notice it. But for someone who lives in hot, humid climate like here in SE Asia maybe stick to light rather than the moist/rich variant unless you are in an AC room the whole time. 😉

I started with the white bottle then I switched to the gold premium and have been loving that formula for years. I have recently added the blue premium bottle to the mix, as well. The gold bottle is by far my favorite. I want to try the red bottle, I think it would be good for body use.

I usually use premium cream in the winter and premium lotion in the summer, but recently tried alpha cream...WOW! I really like it!! also use combinations of serums (Vit C and peptides, lactic acid and retinol..in rotation and SUNSCREEN ALWAYS!!) At 51, my skin has never been better!! more hydrated, more supple and softer! Hada Labo is affordable and effective.
I have oily skin and accidentally buy the orange gokujyun lotion but it's work really well! just make sure not applying too much just few drops (i use it like 4-6 drops) and makes my skin plum, hydrate and reduce oil on my face. and bc I use it just few drops it really last long, I'm talking about 4-6 months lol

I use one of this after wash my face on a wet skin, then wait a bit and use serum etc. I use one or another bottle depending which one I can buy(not every bottles in the russian shops...) использую после умывания на влажную кожу, затем немного жду и дальше наношу сыворотку и крем. Та или иная бутылка - зависит от того, какую найду в продаже. Every day. (=w=)
