Thank you for speaking clearly about issues related to conversion. It's lifesaving information! I love butter, eggs, salmon and cheese. I's awful that Americans have so much false information on nutrition and have been told to avoid these foods, while being told to eat nasty vegetable oils.
My budget now includes fermented cod liver oil capsules and beef organ supplements. I also purchase chicken liver and hearts from a local farmer and grass fed beef liver from another! My 2.5 year old daughter loves chicken liver Patè and I am Ok with it. However, my husband and his teenage daughter do not enjoy it. So I work it into our ground meat meals as well. It's more palatable for them that way. 💚
A local father and son, have permission to hunt on the ranch, here. I was just gifted two fresh venison livers. One of them was still warm. Talk about fresh, organic, grassfed! I've sliced and frozen in small snack bag portions. I sort of steeled myself for that liver smell, when I opened the bag they had them in. There was none of that off-putting smell. I put my nose right to the bag and it only smelled a little sweet, like fresh meat. Same when I cooked it. Very delicate and sweet-ish. Alas, liver is liver and it does have that weird texture, but with all the benefit, I may dice it and mix it with some ground beef. I've decided Saturday is my liver eating day. A lot of hunters don't like liver and just leave it in the field for the birds and coyotes, but if they know you want it, they'd probably be proud to provide you with some.
I've bought cow liver in the grocery store and it smells like cow poop, to me. I was so delighted that the deer liver was so light and clean smelling. They were whitetail doe. I think mule deer or buck, might be more, what they call "gamey".
Lol that sounds like one of my random meal mix ups. I was planning to have mackerel with blood pudding and blue cheese tomorrow and maybe takeaway sushi.
I love beef and chicken liver. The taste of liver is easily improved when it is cooked in bacon fat and served with some aromatics like onion, garlic, leeks etc.
One thing most people don't know that true vitamins only come from animal products. Plant products contain chemicals that through an enzymatic process (which uses up more energy) inside the body to turn into vitamins.
I’ve been having a doubt for some time now. If you consume enough vitamin a in your diet and are also using tretinoin for acne and/or vanity reason will that be too much vitamin a?
I had severe gut issues, Beef liver was the only solution , The capsules does not work. I had to go raw and come up with a smoothie solution. Freezed them as ice cubes and added with purple basil leaves, mozzarella cream cheese , cacao powder , raw eggs, olive oil & wild honey. Had it warm in the morning and evenings for 3 months. Solved. Had blurry vision, sorted that too. It was during this time I started following your videos, Thank you and very helpful. Especially makes me very positive when guys like you recommend beef liver for vitamins And trust me, beef liver does not only rich in vitamin A but it's Mutivitamin powerhouse. Hi! Is it too much to consume Cod Liver Oil and Beef Liver capsules? Also, with the 6 capsules of Beef liver per day, can you split them by doing 2 with each meal? Or three with 2 meals? One more question... do you know if Vitamin A helps with joints in anyway? Thanks!
Yes, you can split up the capsules! It's hard to say what would be too much as it depends on the individual. Probably one or the other everyday would be sufficient.
