      it's harder for me to do major sweeps cuz u have to use all 4 fingers, my ring finger's weak :(

    Do you think it is recommended to practice with the clean guitar as well?

      Douglas Lima Definitely. Doesn’t have to be totally clean, but I find it’s good to practice on a setting that is very uncompressed (and unforgiving) in order to get everything sounding consistent, and then when you switch to a high-gain setting or ampsim, it will be much easier and sound great

    Amazing tutorial but I have a question. When you mute the strings with the fretting hand, do you lift your finger but while still touching the string?
    I'm assuming that's what happens right?

    What I can't do is on fast sweeping, when I need to switch from up->down strokes or viceversa, I always stroke twice the first/last string, because I cannot skip the string correctly, any tips on making it easier?

      VENiX Try paying attention to how your wrist/pick is slanted. For me it is slanted slightly downward when doing down strokes and slightly up for up strokes.

      Fio Anugrah it just depends on what you practice most, everyone starts slow at everything. Takes a lot of patience to get the speed up and sound clean, but it’s also rewarding
