What an absolutely beautiful performance it made me cry. One of these days in the future I would love to join them. I was in band (Orchestra) for 3 years playing the flute during middle school and I've wanted to play music from nostalgic video games but never really had that kinda opportunity and I can tell these guys put a lot of effort and love into there performance, with the end result being how amazing it turned out and I hope they felt so proud of themselves.
I'm usually very judgamental with Video Game Music live orchestras. It's very common to me not enjoy the arrangements. I find it hard to find arrangements written with heart (main reason I dislike VGL, for example), but this one here. Oh my god this one here is great! I entered just to peep and ended up listening it two times in a row.
This is simply beautiful. Just as some other guy said, I never understood what "I cried with this" meant until I experienced it. This made me remember my childhood, easier times when I was a carefree kid with no responsibilities other than school. I guesd we all have something we love with all our heart.
Each time I play Super Mario 64, I cry a little... remembering my childhood. The 90's were magical. Kids today will never have a childhood like ours... certainly not with Fortnite and shit...
Do we really need this argument? I’m glad that kids from the 90’s had their golden age but that doesn’t mean the early 2000’s demographic is all Fortnite and cringe, many of us actually grew up on retro games and basically experience the exact same things that you experienced in the 90’s. Just because those came out in the 90’s doesn’t mean they only got played by 90’s kids
I would also argue because I was born in the 2000s and my first video game I ever played was Link to The Past, which I believe would be a great for them to play too
I was born in 2001. I think my first Nintendo Game was Mario Kart DS. Stayed with those Games and watched older Games on RUclips. In Super Mario 64 DS i had a hard time defeating Bowser because of this DS Control Pad. But i loved that Game, like my Kirby Games. Sadly i lost most of them.
