I love the subtle smile the conductor has at 0:45. It makes me think that he was one of millions of kids who played Super Mario World back when he was a little kid.

10:15 - from those first notes alone I was so emotional to hear the ending to Super Mario 64 orchestrated. That was my favorite ending song as a kid. I'd always hum it or whistle it when I was happy. Holy shit I teared up. Even when they segued briefly into the Super Mario World ending theme, another one of my favorites back then.
I always hear people say stuff like "It's so beautiful it brought a tear to my eye." I never understood that my entire life to the point where I was convinced that it's just a line someone came up with for dramatic effect. Well.. This video made me cry. It's the first time in my three decades living in this world that music got me crying. Every single piece had me walking down memory lane. Those were lovely days and simpler times every one of us in here enjoyed and will forever cherish. Thank you so much for the video.

Oh, 100% agree. I love mario music, especially the song "koopa's road" from mario 64. The feeling of fate and destiny it gives off to the player as you travel the level is so immense... I love super mario 64.

What an absolutely beautiful performance it made me cry. One of these days in the future I would love to join them. I was in band (Orchestra) for 3 years playing the flute during middle school and I've wanted to play music from nostalgic video games but never really had that kinda opportunity and I can tell these guys put a lot of effort and love into there performance, with the end result being how amazing it turned out and I hope they felt so proud of themselves.
