His crumpling it up with the homemade mask and throwing it in the wardrobe was basically him rejecting his newfound freedom and having to regress back to his past as an heir to a Kingdom pretty much. He was throwing away his new self, to go back to what was expected of him. Masterfully acted and roleplayed by Robbie. it broke my heart.

It took a few re-watches to hear/see what Laura and Ashley were saying at 26:55 about the wooden ship Dorian got, but it's something along the lines of: Laura, nodding with love and pride - "He made it" Ashley - "Thats amazing... did he actually make it? Like in a shop?" Laura continues nodding And the fact that Travis actually made that ship is so awesome and cool, especially since he said at 29:14 that hes gonna do that for everyone at the table. I honestly want to be able to do something like that one day

I've figured out what feels so different and fun about this campaign. After making the Legend of VM, I think they've started imagining the game world as a cartoon. Everything is batshit bazonkers, and I fucking love it.

Amazon Prime already greenlit a season 2, if I’m not mistaken. The show has amazing reviews, the streaming numbers are excellent, and it sounds like the celeb voices are bought in now. And only half the season is even out. It’d be great to do another Kickstarter. But it sounds like they have investors now and a solid track record so that unless things drastically collapse for CR, they can likely make as many seasons as they damn well please without asking their fans for $750k/episode

Travis bullying Robbie, the deep cut DPB reference, and so on. I hit play on your recaps as soon as they hit my feed 100%. Thank you! Your work amplifies the already considerable joy that CR provides.
I love and deeply appreciate these highlight videos, there are so many little moments that I miss as I'm normally doing something else with CR in the background, and these videos let me see them without having to re-watch everything multiple times.
Episode 8 still holds it's place as my favourite so far this campaign, but damn if this one didn't give it a run for it's money. Marwa is magnificent as fuck and I crave more of that interaction. I don't care that her store is mostly useless for stuff they'd need, she is worth a trip back regularly just for the conversation.
Plot twist: The Critical Role set is a Domain of Dread and Matt is the dark lord. Week after week he is forced to deal with these people ruining his stories with their shenanigans,

Your work amplifies the already considerable joy that CR provides.
I love and deeply appreciate these highlight videos, there are so many little moments that I miss as I'm normally doing something else with CR in the background, and these videos let me see them without having to re-watch everything multiple times.
Episode 8 still holds it's place as my favourite so far this campaign, but damn if this one didn't give it a run for it's money. Marwa is magnificent as fuck and I crave more of that interaction. I don't care that her store is mostly useless for stuff they'd need, she is worth a trip back regularly just for the conversation.
Plot twist: The Critical Role set is a Domain of Dread and Matt is the dark lord. Week after week he is forced to deal with these people ruining his stories with their shenanigans,
My best guess of what happened to FCG is that something took him over - or perhaps *nothing* did O.o - and he murdered all his companions but can't accept the reality of it.
