Great explanation! as usual we Chinese tend to make things overly complicated, if we stuck with the solar calendar since the beginning then that would have made life easier plus discrepancy with the months matching the seasons would have been reduced.
I feel like the calendar actually makes a lot of sense. Especially when you consider that most people were agricultural workers for centuries.
