Why Do American Hmong Come to Paj Tawg Lag (China) to Trace Their Roots
Просмотров 22 тыс.Месяц назад
At the beginning of the 21st century, many American Hmong came to China to look for a place called Paj Tawg Lag. The old Hmong name is in their Scripture. The name was decoded and the location was identified. It's near the border of China and Vietnam. It's Hmong's last stop in China. In this video, I'll tell you how the name Paj Tawg Lag was decoded, where Paj Tawg Lag is and its position in th...

    I think your videos on Hmong/Miao people always get a large number of views because a lot of us from the United States are really curious where we come from. I'm sure, most views come from us. Most of us who are now in the United States only know we came from somewhere in China then migrated southeast during many years of war. We have little to no knowledge of our heritage before the separation in China. But these videos inspire me to reach out to the Miao people because I think that's where you can really trace back where they migrated from.

    Thank you for showing interest in my people. Black, White, Red, Green, Flowery, and Stripe Hmong are common in Vietnam. Main difference are the clothes they wear, not just by the color but style as well. Their Hmong dialects are slightly different too. However, they can communicate to each other for the most part. Rituals are slightly different as well, such as, marriage and burial. Rituals also vary slightly between clans even if clans are from the same Hmong group.

    • @KhibXuab
      @KhibXuab 5 дней назад

      The word Miao in Mandarin is not "cat." Mao in Mandarin is "cat." It was SEA that got the 2 confused, so they started calling us "Meo." Vietnam calls us "H'mong." Pronounced "Ha mong." Which is better than just "mong." Because "mong" in Vietnamese is "butt." Lol. Stop tripping over little things or things you don't understand. Educate yourself and stop following the gullible.

    Hmong are not Chinese. Miao is a term referred to other ethnic besides Chinese. Hmong is not Miao either. Hmong is Hmong, we have a culture much different from any Chinese culture. Chinese conquered those lands back in the day and burned all of our culture and history. Don’t believe the lies nowadays.

    Hmong people’s ancestors can be traced back to Chiyou, one of the three tribal leaders who were recorded in the grand historian. Hmong appeared about two thousand years earlier than Han, which is contradictory to the current communist regime’s narrative for Han people dominating the entire Chinese history. Sanxingdui excavations in Sichuan province proved that ancient civilizations could trace back to Sumerian times.
