I bought the Steeldive SD1975 and the only thing I see here on the San Martin that I would prefer is the tapered bracelet. Nice to see these two side-by-side!
The Steeldive watch is more beautiful and complete in any way you want to see it and the bracelet is more secure than the san martin one, steeldive of course.
The price difference, Well finishing and also how is the bezel action. How is the crown action? Did you check actual time keeping on which watch is more accurate? What quality of lume and who lasts longer? Quality control and who seems to have more issues? This makes a difference and what also still makes chinese watches in general 2nd tier.
get Steeldive, it's cheaper. and no need to pay more, for same Homage watch. and people will not care, it's San martin or Steeldive. it just homage of seiko. that's all. so get cheaper one. it's same movement. same ar s.c glass. and, personally, I like luminous ceramic bezel. check, heimdallrr. they are really good price and very simulate with other two company.
@@ShortBetter because it is better assembled, in your own video we can see how poorly the bezel construction is, the bracelet is also something steeldive needs to learn how to do, in terms of quality, steeldive is far behind San Martin
One component of a good watch collection for me is that if I should decide I want to get rid of one or two watches and get a new one that interests me, that I can get the value invested back out of the watches I sell. I don't see that happening with Chinese watches, nor most microbrands. A Bulova, Tissot or Omega mechanical watch always has a market.
I've sold a couple of Chinese homages, sold fast and got the asking price, both had NH35A movements. Ended up costing me £55 to wear them them for around 18 months. I think that's much better than what I'd get from my Seikos...
@@oktc68 I'm glad you are happy with that. I have watches that I have had for years and I could sell them for double what I paid even allowing for inflation.
@BHAI HUSSAIN SanMartin seems to have a bit brighter lume due to the bigger size of the markers. I would go SanMartin for diving. For everyday wearing I would go steeldive, because it's much cheaper
you can not compare them because the san martin is a "hommage" of whatever. no date - no ceramic bezel - no lume at the bezel. indizes/ markers of the san martin and steeldive are totally different at 9 / 6 / 3 ... the minutehand between steeldive and san martin is different. by the way. the NH35 / NH36 is from tmi / seiko. seiko never produced the case or parts totally by themself. tunas from seiko fpr 600 oder 2000 - they use hardlex. steeldive saphirglas. san martin has a blueish reflecting coat - with teh steeeldive i dont have that bluetone. at 0:50 you said they look the same? OK! so the san martin has lume above indizes and the steeldive doesnt. sir you compare 2 complete different models. and at 4:47 you said teh waterproof is for booth 200m. but booth mark it with 30bar / 300m. by the way - the steeeldive 1975? a hommage? ok original has "hardlex" steeldive "saphireglas" seiko is playing arround with drives and colours. the steeeldive is what i call a "seiko 1975+" about steelbracelets - i hate them. i kicked them off. allways a zulustrap - 6 to 12 - and i created my own 4th art to wear a strap.
Thanks for your comment😊 Yeah, these 2 are totally different. That's the reason I compared them. And you have a really good eye! Noticed so many details.. What do you do for living?🤔 As for me, and 99% of people who don't know much about the watches, the price, size, and colours are top criteria for comparing the watches😊

Yeah, the bracelet on SanMartin is better, but probably, that's it
Just paid £70 delivered for the Steeldive in the Ali Express sale.
The Steeldive watch is more beautiful and complete in any way you want to see it and the bracelet is more secure than the san martin one, steeldive of course.
If you hold both of them side by side by yourself, you will notice that san martin has superior built and finishing
Good review, comparison, and remarks on the always over priced San Martin.
Thanks! 😊 Check out my next video with bronze model comparison, I will upload it tomorrow 😊
Steeldive has just as good clasp now. I actually prefer the safety latch vs the press button. Ive had press button clasps come open doing work.
San Martin best
The san martin has a slightly thicker dome sapphire crystal so not exactly the same.
Bro thanks !
Glad you like it😊

Oh.. Great questions! I will definitely cover these topics in my next review!
Steeldive $72. San Sartain over $130. Not worth the price. All homages. HUMMMM

It's not what people care about, it's what you should care about
i can't disagree more, its much easier to sell a san matin than a steeldrive
I think San Martin is worth every penny over the steeldive
I have had several San Martin watches and still can't agree with that😅😅 Just don't see why it is worth more

Agree, Chinese watches are for spending money, not investing 😁

which one is Durable and actually 300m Deep diving possible???
Both, for sure. And I doubt someone will actually use any automatic watches for deep diving😅😅
@@ShortBetter Both are same ?? No different ??
@BHAI HUSSAIN both are made of Stainless steel, both are 300m waterproof 😊
