Great video and information, thank you! Im looking to change the dial on this watch, would i have to buy a new chapter ring too, or could I reuse the existing? Thanks in advance.
@@BushCampingTools still in pieces. I still need to find the time to Cerakote which shouldn’t take me long, and I’ve been trying to source watch parts to make a split stem for the crown to make it easier to service the watch. It’s been challenging to find since there are so few watches that have a split stem.
Lol, I get it, I'm just starting to learn about NH, Miyota, and Eta movements. I'm trying to keep this new hobby affordable for now until I'm ready to really commit.
As opposed to spending $2k for a quartz movement in a Seiko Tuna, or Alsta asking a grand for a watch with an nh35? If you want a better movement, buy a better watch, and no ETA and Sellita aren't any better. They can be just as bad or unreliable (spoken from exprience) as a 6r series (which is a garbage movement) and you can get a whole new nh35 module for 1/4 a base, unregulated 2824. People sure will complain about anything these days.
Great video.........just shows that a well put together watch can be had for a very decent price,I love mine even more now I've seen this video.Thankyou.
Excellent thanks

You gota new subscriber. U did a great job and it's a great video. BTW did you end up cerakoting the case?
Not yet, it's still in a long to do list as my workshop is in full disarray right now ha ha ha!
@@yellowthunder92 Ok thanks for letting me know. Are you still using wearing this watch or it's still in pieces?

Nice video, but putting an NH35 into that hunk of steel is like putting a dog turd into a vault.

Do not agree. This is a $200 Homage, and a real Seiko is near $2000. Steeldive is Very well made and amazing.
