You need a meetup ride, so we can ride with you and go to greggs :)
Agree w/ the dropper, I don't have one, but I've used my friends, it helps soooooo much on off road downhills. I'm a wimp on those, so the dropper makes me feel so much more safe.
The dropper is the best for soaring downhill speeds on any surface. I get into the bullet position and bomb it. Xtra weight is a blessing too, gives downhill speed and stability. I also like the difference leg positions it offers for pedalling. I'd keep my dropper but just get a lighter, faster wheelset.
Love me a dropper. That said it might be coming off and going onto the fluro flat bar gravel /xc bike
Your one lucky guy. Nice bikes to ride every day. Glad your feeling perky. Take care, Al
Thanks mate, feeling pretty lucky.
What no Greggs on the way home? I did enjoy the 'same trail/different words" x3. Keep up the good work!
nice ride - diggin the tunes!
Thank you 😊
That was a good game of spot where Dave is on Google maps. I just used to use a quick release seat post clamp to drop the saddle on the old mtb. having ridden my friend bike with one definitely less faff, though takes a bit of time getting used to it.
Well someone is enjoying work today!!😂😂🤘
Love your ride.
👍🏼👍🏼thanks you
It's like bumming but better.
😂😂😂
Riding my bike the other day and I thought to myself. I have not fallen off my bike for ages. Then guess what. Next day off I came.
Any falls recently Dave?
Damn, hope it wasn’t a bad one. I haven’t had a fall in a while 🤞🏼
I was about to buy new tyres, I used to rock whole black theme for same frame, but man those bronze accents fit perfectly. Btw remaind me what is the height of the wheel rim?
Hi Dave which lever are you using for the dropper post on the bars?
The dropper is hooked up to the left GRX shifter 👍🏼
What do you think to the Goodyear Connector Ultimates? I’m thinking of swapping to the 700x40’s on my bike
I love em! If you want something with a bit more bite try the Peak.
@@DaveNoakes thanks Dave, much appreciated. Love your bikes BTW
19k subs 👊🏻
Nice stoppie. How many takes?
1 😂👍🏼
endo ?
looks awesome very that. very you.
Needs more hand motions
Noted, will do more 😂
What bar tape is that?
Dropper posts are often ~1.5 hg so compared to a 300g carbon seatpost, it is not surprising to get 10kg vs 9kg
Droppers are normally about 500g so don't really add much weight at all.
fox's transfer sl is 350g
Came in at a good weight Dave. Perky! 🤗
