  • I wanted to have a small tiny whoop to fly around the house with DJI digital video, so here is the nxp200 version of the Mobigital Build. The original Mobigital was the design of Dax Niel, so thanks to him for the idea! I used Dax's and Nick Burns' videos to help me put this together, so I hope someone else finds this helpful too. It's a great little digital whoop and I love flying this around the kids playgrounds, backyards and in the house.

    At 29:55 I'm looking at the damaged antenna thinking "did he just do that, and not know?" And your text appears acknowledging the damage. You can remove the whole plastic housing(usually incorrectly referred to as ceramic) and replace it with a 31mm enamel wire, or really any small gauge silicone wire. I did this on all of my x12 boards that I run HD VTXs on because the antenna was blocked by the VTX mounted above it and my elrs would lock out 10 feet away at 50hz 250mw. After antenna swap I am able to run 500hz 25w and have enough range to suffice my vista air unit. Oh, and I too have used the BT2.0 on 2s. Long as the amps don't exceed 10 the voltage doesn't really matter.

    try some more powerful motors it might give you abit more control or are you worried about the flight time? cool build though i like it im thinking of doing something similar with the naked vista:p

    • @nxp200
      @nxp200  4 дня назад

      I could try other motors but I also like flying this thing indoors, so larger motors would be a bit too much for tight spaces. Have any suggestions though? Always keen to hear what others have tried. It is a pretty fun rig and I definitely recommend building one if you have the patience and know how. Good luck 👍

    nice clean build, Which camera are using on the Caddx Vista? has anyone modded a Happymodel Mobula7 V3, also what small Antenna did you use?

    • @nxp200
      @nxp200  8 месяцев назад

      Camera is the Nebula Pro Nano. I haven't seen anyone mod the actual Mob7 V3, but I really like the durability of the frame. The small antenna is a standard linear whip antenna. Works well with the Goggles 2.

      Without batteries 44.77g. Using 2 of the 300mah 1S Tattu batteries, it totals at 61.01g.

    Hi, thanks for the tutorial! Could you please add updated stack cover (with slots for camera mount) to your printables repository? Maybe any other updates on mobigital project tpu parts?

    • @nxp200
      @nxp200  7 месяцев назад +1

      Done! You can find the STL in the same listing now as the model file name "Mobigital Stack Cover v9.stl". No other updates on the 3d printable parts because all those parts have been working great and nothing has needed replacing even. I've flown this little drone heaps and bashed it a lot too, still going strong!

      You'll need to root the Goggles and install wtf.os to get OSD on goggles V2. Joshua Bardwell just released a video on how to set this up ruclips.net/video/tqiDspQoKDA/видео.htmlsi=Xghi3n0DTjutuRNz

    Would you recommend 1102 9000kv or 10000kv for balanced power and efficiency?

    • @nxp200
      @nxp200  Год назад

      I personally go for the higher kV motors and reduce motor throttle output percentage down if I need to. I haven't seen much efficiency differences between motors of similar kV and prefer to have the option of reducing a higher kV, since you can't increase the lower to match the higher. Example, you can reduce 10,000kv to 9,000kv using motor throttle output limit, but you can't increase 9,000kv to 10,000kv. So I would go the 10,000kv. Hope that helps!

    Would this work with the Mobula 8 analog version

    • @nxp200
      @nxp200  11 месяцев назад

      The Mobula8 uses the HappyModel X12 flight controller as well, so I think it should be possible. I haven't worked with the Mob8 frame before, so you'll have to work out how to mount the camera and battery etc. Good luck! Would be a great quad to fly 👍

    Two questions please, Where are the STL Files please, and would this conversion work using a BETAFPV Meteor 85 (2022 model)?

    • @nxp200
      @nxp200  Год назад +1

      Sorry, the STLs will be uploaded in a few days cause I've gone away on holidays for a few days. I believe the meteor 85 will also work with this conversion since the flight controller mounting is also 25.5mm X 25.5mm.

    • @fredkaz245
      @fredkaz245 Год назад

      @@nxp200 , do you think the standard meteor 85 motors will be enough to lift the quad?

    • @nxp200
      @nxp200  Год назад +1

      @@fredkaz245 I think so. With 1103 11000kv motors, which I think the meteor 85 has, it's on the slightly heavier side, but it should work alright.

    What's the advantage of BT 2.0 plugs over one xt30 plug for a 2s battery?

    • @nxp200
      @nxp200  Месяц назад

      Main reason was at the time I couldn't source 300 mAh High Volt 2S batteries where I am. In fact they're still hard to find, although there are more these days. The other reason is lighter weight. 2s batteries come with extra battery lead lengths and the balance lead. Also I'm cheap 😂 and like to reuse what I have on hand

      @@nxp200 fair answer I was just curious I’ve seen a few builds like this. Definitely a little lighter with that setup. I am going to build one soon. I have a vista I don’t really use anymore and want a nice small whoop. I will be following your video during my build. Thanks

      @Nick Zagorianakos check my other video ruclips.net/video/WjS-d4_Es9w/видео.html
      I found there is a command to be entered into the CLI as well:
      set osd_displayport_device = MSP
      save
      I believe this can be avoided by using presets specifically for the Vista OSD setup, but I haven't tried yet.
