I started selling 75% of my things on the internet 12 years ago and live the minimalist lifestyle, It's such a relief.

God is so good and faithful! Praise the Lord he has shown you these things now with your littles.
Praise the Lord he has revealed these things to me in my forties and now with my young adult children and life.
    Keep sharing! 🤍

I totally get how everything never seemed enough, always wanting to purchase something new to feel better and fill that void, so wish I had found this simple way of living when my kids were still young and living at home but Im glad I did find it eventually, I love the simple way of living. I spent 25 minutes last night watching a hedgehog mouching around in my garden and it was so peaceful instead of thinking of what i had on my list to do tomorrow when i get up. With less stuff I have less to take care of and manage and housework being so easy now i can appreciate the simple things in life and this is so amazing and I am so grateful for this ❤️

Thats why I appreciate this channel so much! So many others I find unrelatable because most of the youtubers are or seem well off financially and are like..I m having my first baby so we are going out to buy a new range rover or we are going on a 5,000 plus dollar baby moon...I m glad to see someone sharing similar concerns like space limitations and having less and being grateful for what you have

I appreciated how you highlighted the impact of decluttering your home on your overall well-being. It's remarkable how simplifying our physical space can lead to a deeper sense of stillness and gratitude. Your emphasis on appreciating everything in life with new eyes is a powerful reminder to find joy in the present moment.

I love this so much. I so often think that more control is the answer but it's not. Control is an illusion but gratitude...gratitude is always available. Thank you so much for this.

I literally was telling my friend today I’m having so many internal battles daily like you mentioned!!! And I decided to get on RUclips to look for one of my favorite RUclipsrs and you were the first one I saw… this video. Exactly what I needed.

❤ it’s truly amazing to be able to reflect on where we’ve come from and how we have been able to grow. Less is more because at the end of the day our sustained shalom and intentional outpouring and receiving of love in our relationships is all that matters. Everything else, while they may be nice, are just distractions.

Thank you Margaret! I am a mom of a 20 year old and 2 teenagers. Definitely a different stage of life and motherhood but I find your words resonate during this time also. I am coming off of years (decades?) of life in stress mode and your channel/words hit me right in the heart.

Lovely video. Motherhood challenges you. I have 4. All of my children are different - even the identical twins. There are times where I’ve been overwhelmed and sat on the floor crying when the kids were because we just didn’t know what to do next. This also lets them know that mummy is human and has feelings too. As long as we try our best every day that’s all we can do and cherish them. ❤

I am now a minimalist since a year but I still feel restless, overwhelmed and angry all the time. I just hope that someday I will find my happiness and allow my body and mind to slow down. I just wish that for my kids that they have a mom that is calm & not stressed every day. Thank you for your words and sharing your journey it gives me hope. ❤

One of your best videos, really really good insight into the best side of minimalism. It’s not the pursuit of less in some competition but the way real minimalism works in real life as a tool to create a better life, a gift for the future you.

If i ever get the oportunity i would donate everything i own and start completely over. I have spent along time declutter through all my stuff, and i sit watching my pillows and wonder if i should declutter them too.. and im like, well, i dont really care about them. And the self realization is insane!

Hi Margaret, thanks for always inspiring me to continue and focus on a simpler lifestyle.
You see, to me it was very hard stop buying things and accumulating here and there because of my parents economic struggle growing up, so once I started working, I also started to get what I thought I've been missing all along, therefore Making it soooo hard to let go of all that!
Not realizing until now that I'm a mom, how my most fond memories of my childhood were those "simpler" days, all together...little I knew we had no money to go anywhere...❤

I think a big piece of all this (one of those habits) that I know you've experienced too, is that fully nourishing ourselves with the prometabolic principles -food that is absorbed and we have sufficient nutrients and minerals, allows us to just not be in that stressed-out state anymore, physiologically... which translates to so much peace in our body and mind. I know for me, this has been huge for me to be able to be present with my children and content and joyful over my present circumstances.

Hi Margaret! I know this is your third babe but… can we see a minimalist mom must haves for baby? 😊We are currently in the process of adopting. My friends registry has over 100 items where ours is at 60 lol. I’d love to know your newborn must haves! Thank you for continuing to inspire us!

Thank you for sharing your breakfast story. I’m in a place with my 1 year old where I’m really struggling with his energy (I’m limping today because he threw his head against my hip yesterday ❤) so it’s a nice reminder to be the mom that is grateful and try not to be too overwhelmed by it all. Thankfully I am usually able to view these as “the good old days” and appreciate the little moments. But oooooeeeee it’s hard some days. Don’t know how I’ll cope when pregnant again but I know I’ll be searching for your videos for encouragement ❤

I had a big house and owned too many items… the last 4 years I have downsized and on my journey to minimalism… I have never been happier.
I donated 75% of my items and in the next 2 years when my home is finished I plan to own even less than I own now.

You've inspired me to chip away at decluttering tasks throughout the home, it's incredible how much space it creates in your life. Thanks for your content xx (also, not related to your content, but you have lovely hair, the colour is so unique and cool-toned)
