I would recommend trying the Legion by yourself and do not make decisions based on another person experience. I had the Rog Ally, it is an awesome device but what made me return it and get the Legion is that gorgeous screen. I have not issues using the Legion at all, I don't care about the joy cons since Im pretty sure I won't disconnect them, I have a monitor with a keyboard and a mouse where I can connect the handheld and turns automatically into a small PC. Just a note at 1:42 - you CAN use the controllers separately in multiplayer mode! There is a button press combo that turns them into separate input devices
He's not lying you hold legion button and X or left dpad until it flashes. They can become 2 Bluetooth controllers... just cause you don't know doesn't mean it's not true.....
The true strike controllers are like the perfect setup for pc in my opinion. I have always hated keyboard movement but have always liked mouse aim and lenovo basically just made a fantastic solution to this. I wonder if they will sell new controllers separately and if they will be compatible with any bluetooth available on pc

Lmaoooo but the legion go has the same chip as rog plus it had more months to perfect itself 🤣🤣🤣 updates wont fix that one loud ass fan and shitty speakers. All its got is a big screen.
Best purchase I've made in awhile. There are other users here. I love how you can install other operating systems or have a breezy beat studio on the go. It's amazing. The processor is amazing.
Oh boy do I have bad news for you. I mean they will update them but lenovo is not exactly known for supporting its devices. And any support like the deck will only happen because of valve.
@@jordirapper Why are you lying? Lenovo released a long roadmap a week ago. Lenovo keep people updated on next updates every day of the week, except for weekend. Lenovo even responds to people's requests every damn day.
@@jordirapper Lenovo is absolutely known for supporting it's devices and one of their Devs has been insanely vocal on their forums posting near exact dates when software updates with user requested fixes are expected to ship. Please do not just spout non-sense.
Mine's due on Monday, I'm so ready!! I had a Deck but sold it once I saw the Deck OLED, but now there's more reviews of the Go I've decided they deserve the cash for the innovation they've stuck into this thing 😊
Legion is Boss...I don't care what they say about the Deck it don't compare to the Legion..from the display to the size of the screen to the power...just wait till lenovo get all the software issues fixed .. it's still a good experience
These “reviews” are really just hands on for people like us that don’t have one to see how they work in the end it’s really up to you and what you like. Many people are die hard steamdeck and never buy anything else, others recommend ROG ally but a lot has returned it for a steam deck or legion go. I was gonna get the ROG originally and decided to just go for the Legion GO. Keep in mind the other 2 had issues at release and was improved by updates by a lot, the legion go has only been out for a little over a month and has many more updates that will improve it as well.
I bought one a few days ago. Software definitely needs improvement (both performance and usability), but once Space gets sorted out, it's awesome. I just have one request for Lenovo. For the love of god, please make a keyboard for this 🙏. Not required for gaming, but for taking this on the go (pun not intended) for both work and gaming would be fantastic. Right now, the only option is non-attachable keyboard which is meh (you can get a case to hold both together, but you will probably need to do some mod to it since most don't come with the appropriate hole for the ventilation)
@@shaluka21 you can use 2 ps5 controllers with the go, yes. Only issue I had was there was a bit of input lag (still playable, but noticeable) compared to when I use them on my desktop. Not sure if it has improved it since then with the new bluetooth drivers bc I havent tried it in a couple of months.
@@lengors7327 Thanks so much. Was wondering if I could play it takes two in it. And another thing, is it possible to connect it to a MacBook Air laptop Just for video output So I can play games on a little bit bigger screen?
As I type this from my legion go, I believe you can remove the RTruestrike thumb stick so you won't have to claw the vertical mouse. Also, I use an Xbox wired/wireless controller (you must enable in steam settings). Windows can run virtually any software like a desktop/laptop. I can't speak on any other handheld but, I do recommend LGo.
My legions been amazing. It's my first step into PC gaming, and I have been an Xbox fan since the get go, but so far awesome experience. A few small bugs from the software but they have been minor and I feel nowhere near the extent everyone's been saying. It's been running games with better graphics and experiences than my series x and I can play it from anywhere (within reasonable distance from an outlet 😂)
The LLG feels like the saying "if some is good, more is better, right?". The appeal to hand held gaming computers/consoles is the hand held part, the light weight but still able to play alot of the games. Someone had to make a giant handheld and Lenovo was the one.
1:43 you CAN use it like a joycon. All you need to do is turn off the controllers, turn them back on, and connect both of them via Bluetooth. You can play switch games on the legion go with emulators or you can buy 2 player games like It Takes Two from steam. If you want to make the controllers go back to single player mode, just connect it back to the legion go…
IMPORTANT NOTE - Apparently, the device sometimes wakes up and runs the whole time it's charging. In the enclosed case, this would be terrible for thermals.
just here to tell you that their Lenovo Legion laptop premium series has been a market for a couple years in a row now, absolutely best laptops I`ve had so far tbh
As someone who doesn't really care for mobile gaming anymore, the Deck and Ally were pretty good and peaked an interest but not to really want but the Legion Go may be a game changer for me
The Steam Deck is my favorite. I am buying a Legion Go as well. I will have them up in my room with different games installed. I will play FPS games on the Legion Go most definitely. I also use my 6 TB Steam Deck setup for an actually PC which is the nice. I have 2 TB internal storage. A bunch of 2 TB and 1 TB micro Sd cards with a little thing to store them. They have different games in my library installed. Then I used the 6 and 1 dock from JSUAX with a M.2 Storage card mounted on it. It works just like a PC. I put my actual 3,800 pc to rest with this thing.
The best review I've seen for the Legion Go yet! I like that you compared with other competitors in the market not because you want to talk down on it, but as a fairer ballpark so people can know how it functions well or not in certain features. I especially like your detailed review on the TrueStrike controllers and its differences with the Joycons + how you utilize the FPS mode.
I got mine 3 days before release because my girlfriend is a Best Buy manager, but after having my ROG melt a $170 SD card, I jumped on this immediately. Sold my steam deck because this - especially coupled with some AR glasses (Rokid Joy pack is better than Legion glasses, tried those too) this thing is hard to beat.
Still trying to figure out between the Legion Go and the Steam Deck OLED. At least I’m super eager for finally bringing my gigantic steam library around with me. It’s always pissed me off being stuck with consoles to play certain games or to play certain ways (especially because of how unpredictable my life can be, so having my life stuck to a giant gaming pc set up I can’t carry is stress) so it’s awesome that there’s finally a massive improvement for the industry.
Bro, everyone was dunking on the deck then things got better. Same people dunking on the ally, then things got better..cept for sd card. Now, people dunking on the legion and guess what? Things will get updated and get better. Ignore the haters
I'd go for the Deck. The OLED is severely understated in how it makes the experience so much better and the screen is like one of the 40 things they refreshed, HDR support being one of the biggest that Valve isn't really talking about. I also think you get way more quality assurance with Valve than Lenovo but that's just my personal experience. Generally I think of it as the most reliable offering that won't stop getting support and it just got a massive upgrade.
the deck is massively underpowered compared to the go and the ally, but it's probably built nicer than either and valve has always had good support for their stuff. so if you're just playing older games or stuff that doesn't require high specs or you're not worried about holding high frames then i would probably go for the deck. realistically though i think you would be good with any of them
Legion GO or the Steam OLED Deck, you'll probably be happy either way. Thankfully it's not like a console where you're locking yourself into one market or the other. But I'm happy with the Deck controller layout, and I have more trust in their customer support over Lenovo and definitely Asus. The latter is an absolute nightmare.
I like the legion go I sold my lcd steam deck for it. But I just bought a oled steam deck and the legion go is going back. The steam OS is just soooo much better and the battery isn't holding up on the go for what I expected. I'm realizing the steam deck gives me better flexibility when I'm not at home and that when I'm home I'm using streaming from steam link from my main gaming pc more than I'm using the hardware of the handheld to actually run the games so the legions go extra power really isn't something that's as big of a game changer than I thought it would be. Basically the biggest upside ended up being the better screen but now with the steam deck oled it no longer makes sense for me. If your a dad I highly reccomend getting a handheld and setting up streaming I'm finally getting through my titles while not having to be in front of my pc. It's not all about out the house gaming is also about conveniently playing at home as well.
I used to play cyberpunk on the pc this way, with a controller on my left hand and mouse on the right hand. This fps mode sounds like a dream come true.
I am enjoying mine thus far, i was lucky to get the 2TB version. Already got it set up for ps2 emulation, working on switch next, it's a phenomal extension/addition for those with a legion gaming laptop like i do. Will mostly use mine for emulation, portable book readers and select pc games, i've been waiting for this since the psp days lol and the great thing about the ps2 emulator is that you don't have to manually assign controller keys like on pc, the legion go's controller's come with their own specialized drivers and even battery which is fucking great.
1. Should've shipped with at least 24GB of RAM so the vRAM would be at 8, leaving 16 for the rest of the system. 2. Hopefully a 32GB RAM mod can be done and not also limited to the BIOS. 3.Needs a better d-pad for those type of games. 4. Hopefully Lenovo will release other joycons with grips and d-pads. 5. While the screen res is nice, it's a bit overkill on a 9inch display, 1080p would've been ok. 6. They needed a 2TB version and shame Micro Center can't ship theirs 2TB Go.
I feel it’s gonna take around 2 years for this to be amazing. Having a pc/gaming handheld/tablet all in one seems so useful and great value. But from reviews the software feels too basic at the moment, and it still doesn’t feel like it should be been released now
Vram doesn't distribute that equal or that low on an apu It uses as much as needed, and more than not the CPU is hogging the vram, with the GPU being secondary priority 16 gb of ram is perfect for an apu If you need more "ram" instead of vram, just set a page file
for me it is much more. The bigger screen and detachable controllers were huge and i never thought i would need it.i use it more than my series x and pc
This does make me wonder. Would it be possible to buy the left controller (or hell, a pair) separately from the console itself and pair that to a PC? That way, I can use my Gaming PC with my choice of mouse and get the benefits of the analogue controllers and ergonomics of the Legion's left controller?
Or is there an alternative for such a thing? This is what got me interested in things like analogue keyboards (Wooting Two HE!), but they still are not the same as having an analogue stick and gamepad controls
Thank you for the indepth video, with a selection of accessories. You're actually the first person I've heard saying you like the FPS mode. Very well detailed and fun to watch. The one thing that's making me lean more into getting the Legion go is that it has detachable controllers, that means it would be possible for Lenovo to make or replace just the controllers should one break or something, plus hall effect sensors to prevent stick drift. The issues you have can be fixed with software update. Also the screen looks amazing, small enough to be regarded as handheld, big enough for media consumption, yes it lacks vrr but right now only the Legion has that. Would it be possible to make another video showing EGPU support?
You describe it as the only one like this and you forget the onexplayer 2 and comparing the legion go taking your video as a reference I can say that they are the same and the most important point and that you don't talk about is its hardware quality in games and its price great video! perfect! without fissures! professional!
What a great review. You really do your research and do an awesome job. My handheld is on the way and your really have boosted my excitement for it to arrive. Subscribed.
Recently bought one of these and I have to get really nit-picky to find any faults with it.. getting the big legion space update 3 days after getting it was a happy surprise as well
Can confirm the Logitech K400 is a solid keyboard, I'm typing on mine right now from my bed. I bought this like four years ago and have yet to change the batteries, at this rate I'm gonna have to make sure they're not leaking before they even get a chance to die lmao. The only thing that gets a little wierd is likely a Windows issue more than anything, but sometimes it struggles to register mouse inputs and keyboard inputs at the same time for the touchpad. Not an issue unless you're a goober trying to play Minecraft from bed like me....
I recently used a PS Nav controller with a mouse on my PC and it was great. Best of both worlds as you say and I was amazed no one has made a device like this specifically for PC then I seen the Legion Go doing it! I wonder, would you be able to use one of these controllers on a regular PC? The Legion Go looks incredible and that's actually another selling point to me!
The nav controller was great, used it in leu of a keyboard for some time when drawing on a Surface, but ultimately it's hard to get enough buttons as I want. On another note, I really hope these hybrid devices push game companies to allow for mixed input with analog and m/kb input. When it works, it's so good.
yep! That's what I do with a 12 button mmo mouse in the other hand, so the amount of buttons is huge! Though tbh I don't use this setup often. I was just experimenting when I had some issues. I struggle with WASD sometimes. I just try to take breaks and keep an eye on it more than anything now but when it's really bad or the game I am playing is quite simple and not too hard I switch to that alternative setup! That's what I am shocked at, that there isn't a controller like this for the opposite hand to mouse but with more buttons! I would make one myself if I knew how haha. The closet thing I have seen are devices like Azeron keypads and Razer orbweaver / tartarus but they are claw like devices and not the same type of thing I was after. They are great though!@@joos3D
I would like to mention that out of ALL handhelds Legion Go requires the most amount of tinkering! You can buy it but you need to be on junior sysadmin level to use it.
1:41 You gotta be more specific here. The answer is yes you can when your playing emulated games such as the switch I recently tried out Yuzu with Mario wonder, Mario kart 8, and smash bros. Once you map the controllers and set them as joycons it works and you can have 2 players.
Hey man. Love your content. When you do a review on future devices can you please try to show us a docked experience. Im really trying to squeese alot out of docked steamdeck lately and i want to see these other devices slay it.
Great Review! hope you get sent a steam deck oled soon for review. Just a small gripe you probably will never see but the background music under the software section is annoying. I thought a second video played in the background when I had my headset.
Looks like a nice option indeed, but more so looks like it can bring more interest to this market and make more manufacturers create alternatives to the steam deck or even consoles. Btw, you are doing great
Thanks for reviewing. It's crazy how the FPS controller stuff is so hit or miss. But only in this video did it says that you just got to give it a shot. I think I will
well I didn't expect it to play the Ally out of the water specially since it comes with exactly the same APU being the Z1 Extreme, it's just an Ally with a few extras
I own the Legion Go and it works just fine, it's just you're used to high performance, "better" controls. Personally I think the legion go offers great performance, like I can get 35-40 fps on warzone high settings, Major W!
I had a bad start with controllers. One was stuck on a fixed green colour. I tried reset via pin 📌 then buttons for hard reset of controller, nothing! Each time when controller software was updated, it only recognised right controller. Eventually, it updated, out of the blue. And...turned blue, that right was set to.
I want one with 32gb of RAM. 16 is not enough to get the most out of this. It shares RAM with graphics which means a performance hit is going to be taken when RAM fight begins.
Im wondering. Can you use the True Strike Controllers also as a normal gamepad? Like on PC? Normal gamepads destroy your posture and i think that might be an improvement in comfort.
2:02 Oh! I was trying to Google this a few weeks ago, but there were no info on this. I like to play Fitness Boxing, Switch Sports, and Ring Fit Adventure. Maybe I could finally try out some Beat Saber with this. 😄 Another thing I’m curious about because of its tablet nature is if it supports the Lenovo Active Pen Pro 2 or any other stylus. I’m wondering if you can test this, or if you mentioned it later I will shut up and continue watching now.
Brett . Really love all your videos on UFD tech. I have 43 years experience in tech and Im a gamer. Question about the Legion Go..i sm a left handed person with very limited use of my right side due to a stroke i had at birth. I would like to consider getting the Legion Go for mu birthday next summer. In your opinion, is this something i could use comfortably. Thanks knuou in advance
These things don’t stay on for too long, when not plugged in which cannot justify their price you might as well get a laptop, because it stays plugged in too but way more powerful at the same price
I'd be more tempted if it was native 1080p it's more then enough PPI at that size. I'll take higher frame rates over an overkill res. Lowering won't look good being non native.
I waiting to see a review from someone with smaller hands. I tried holding the Legion Go and felt that the controllers were really awkward to hold if your hands weren't big enough. If not for that I might've just bought it
I've been playing with half a steam controller and a gaming mouse for awhile since wasd hurts my hands. It takes a while to get used to bu is so much more comfortable.
Legion go is awesome. In fact, I am here just to say that, and of course, when you just want to Bash at something without reasons, then anything can be “bad”. IMHO, LG is an amazing handheld device, a stand to play on without tiring your fingers and shoulders. A nice sized screen, detachable controllers that works seamlessly, a mouse pad, an FPS mouse mode, a hard case!!! Etc… you name it Does it run hot ? Nah, lot cooler than Rog ally What is bad here ? The screen !! That back light lit is obnoxious, especially for being a handheld device. I don’t know about whoever is sensitive to PWM flickering, but I am extra sensitive to emitted back lit lighting and blue light!! Virtually anything that has strong blue light and back lit just tires me out and induce fatigues!!! And I hate it genuinely. I guess when enough streamers don’t talk about it, then it is not a thing. I game during midnight a lot and I couldn’t deal with this on the LG. So I returned it. Regrettably, I will have to grab OLED laptop and deal with the typical controllers instead of having a nicely detached controllers which I can play with any positions that I comfortably want.
FPS mode takes a little getting used to....great convenient feature though once you're used to it and you want a little more accuracy than the thumbs sticks if you stink at using sticks like me.
The controllers are very much worse ergonomically than the JoyCon for me. It may be a hand size thing, but they are painful to hold for me. The d-pad is too shallow and not great at registering diagonals, the triggers are too deep and I keep having to curl my hand to fully depress them and the grips are too thick and I can't get a comfortable grip to use the right stick with the triggers. Try this before you buy, because it's janky in more ways than one. It has a great screen, but I was able to brick the entire Windows installation in an attempt to disable the controllers and use it as a tablet with different devices. Turns out the software is constantly polling for the controllers even when they go into low power mode, so using a different controller on this can be a massive hassle, and this seems to happen at the firmware level, because disabling them in the device manager nuked Windows. The software is just not up to task and the gimmicky controls aren't for everybody, to be kind. For my money the GPD Win 4 remains the best designed one of these, but I had high hopes for the Legion Go. It may be for someone (once they fix the terrible software), but it's definitely not for me. Or most women. Or children. Or people with smaller hands. Or people with larger hands that would like to use this with a different controller. It's not for very many people, is what I'm saying.
The Lenovo Legion Go is awesome but has some major flaws that make the device very unfun to use. 1) the dead zone in both joysticks is about 1/3 of the possibly movement the joystick gets. So when input finally starts to make your character rotate it’s at full turn speed from 0 to 100 real fin quick. This makes it impossible for ex to jump from the first tower in Skyrim before alduin breaths fire into the hole he makes. You’ve got to stand on the stairs and try a couple times to jump to the next house bc the dead zone is that bad - on the verge of unusable. And 2) the scuff buttons on the back are locked in as mouse 1 and 2 and completely useless while in controller mode which is the whole point of scuff - they’re locked and cannot be remapped. This is also an issue in fps mode where none of the controls in a new experimental gaming method can be mapped. Literally the device would be highly recommended if it weren’t for those two issues alone but as is I’m ready to return after just 3 days. I’d rather not play at all then play frustrated.
And the worst bit about all that is the hardware is finally to the point we can play Skyrim on a portable with all the perks of playing on a computer, but whoever was behind the controller design jfc my guy wtf. He clearly doesn’t play Warzone. I’m not even going to try that game with these dead zones and no scuff. What a disappointment it can run the game you just can’t play it?… wtf
reminds me of when I first got my ally, it gets better over time but for now I use better community software like handheld companion and just completely ignore and disable the stock software
I have the 1TB legion go I would like to know the SLOT you show the micro sd card it’s for exact what purposes ?. I’m little confused I saw video people doing cloning Ssd card . Can I buy 2 TB AND plug inside that slot ?
I haven't seen anyone mention this, so maybe just a me-issue. Whenever you scrape your hands across the deskmat, there's this harsh sound that's giving me the same sensation as fingernails against a chalkboard. It makes it hard for me to concentrate on what you're saying. Had the same issue with other videos from the same filming set. Other than that, great content!
Legion display for a 8.8 inch screen is phenomenal, compared to an Oled it looks very good...for me The upgrades for the deck is not that serious compared to the LCD...Legion is way better in hardware and is more powerful then the deck
At this weight and price range i don't understand why i should choose this over a 14" laptop with similar CPU. For few additional hundred bucks you can get full fledged notebook that is slightly more expensive and little bit heavier while being much more versatile
wish he’d gone a little more in detail on the binding changes he made to make apex work because if apex detects mouse and controller inputs at same time it tends to freak out (I assume due to aim assist or the weird binding blocks controller has)
Flip the FPS mode switch, and that’s it. It’s not recognized as a controller in this mode; and every keyboard input is available for you to map to the left truestrike.
For users like me it boils down to why do I need a windows handheld when I hate windows. That’s why I love my steamdeck you can keep your performance I use mine for emulation and I don’t care to emulate beyond the ps2 so I’m not missing out plus I have a steam subscription and Xbox game pass on my steamdeck I don’t need a huge gaming handheld at that price point and I had a choice I chose the steamdeck oled limited edition this past weekend over the legion at 8 inches it may as well be a tablet with handles and steamdeck is comfortable in my hands I own the launch edition of the deck so I’m comfortable with my choice
Do you mean you have gamepass cloud on the deck? Native gamepass only runs on windows atm. Which is why I use my steam deck less often, and thinking of picking up this or the ally

Mine's due on Monday, I'm so ready!! I had a Deck but sold it once I saw the Deck OLED, but now there's more reviews of the Go I've decided they deserve the cash for the innovation they've stuck into this thing 😊
I really like my Legion Go to, i’m using it all the time :)
You guys just dropped THE BEST overview of this beast out there. Thank you so much!.
Can you please let me know if i can play it takes two with two ps5 controllers with this?
@@shaluka21 you can use 2 ps5 controllers with the go, yes. Only issue I had was there was a bit of input lag (still playable, but noticeable) compared to when I use them on my desktop.
Not sure if it has improved it since then with the new bluetooth drivers bc I havent tried it in a couple of months.
@@lengors7327 Thanks so much. Was wondering if I could play it takes two in it.
And another thing, is it possible to connect it to a MacBook Air laptop
Just for video output
So I can play games on a little bit bigger screen?
@@shaluka21 no idea tbh, I dont own a macbook so couldnt tell you
@@lengors7327 No worries thanks for the reply. I ended up buying a switch Oled for now anyways 😂🤦🏽♂️
Can you please let me know if i can play it takes two with two ps5 controllers with this?
Got one, aside from the battery life, it’s top notch 🤌🏻
My legions been amazing. It's my first step into PC gaming, and I have been an Xbox fan since the get go, but so far awesome experience. A few small bugs from the software but they have been minor and I feel nowhere near the extent everyone's been saying. It's been running games with better graphics and experiences than my series x and I can play it from anywhere (within reasonable distance from an outlet 😂)
I had Legion Go for like 10 days now and i have no problems either. Since it runs on Windows, problems is easy to fix anyway.
Im the same as you friend. I was a xbox guy and wanting a pc for games I cant play otherwise.
@@joshuadeloach1676 Also remember you can play Sony games like Spiderman, God of War, Uncharted etc. on PC. PC is a neutral platform.
how does it play gat 5 at high performance compared to your xbox
That’s MANY windows devices tho
@@RiskyOutcomes That's good to know, but people should still be careful charging inside the case.
When it comes to budget laptops Lenovo is god tier…no wonder they made a good handheld….
When it comes to high end gaming laptops they’re god tier
just here to tell you that their Lenovo Legion laptop premium series has been a market for a couple years in a row now, absolutely best laptops I`ve had so far tbh
As someone who doesn't really care for mobile gaming anymore, the Deck and Ally were pretty good and peaked an interest but not to really want but the Legion Go may be a game changer for me
Same, i got the go and I’m loving it. Haven’t touched my ps5 in a week.

I was able to run MW2 at 60+ fps once tuned. I run windows 11 on my 1st Gen Steam deck. @@Crunkmaster
I just got mines today and I love it just the right size
Then you should just use a tablet or phone with sides controller and parsec or moonlight
@cotasa I did that in the past but the steam deck is a much better experience with the added benefit of what it can do on the go.
@@tangodown2721I believe to each is own ...Legion Go is phenomenal...it's still early in the game since Legion been out ..not even a whole month
You got rid of the legion for a steam deck...hahahaha stop😅
Bro, I don't know what's wrong with these steam deck heads ...I love my steam Deck to, but Legion is better by far even on that new upgrade
Can you point me to the software emulator, and games? Thanks.
I can use my phone to run ps2 and gamecube dam easy
This is one of the best Legion Go reviews. Props to UFD for giving the King it's due respect!
There was a youtuber that tested the joycons using them as doubles player 1 and 2
But from reviews the software feels too basic at the moment, and it still doesn’t feel like it should be been released now
pour tous ce que tu demande la console serait a 1600 euro comme l'ayaneo kun 😂
comparer une machine qui a 4 mois de services a une autre qui a que 2 semaine aucune logique 😂
Vram doesn't distribute that equal or that low on an apu
It uses as much as needed, and more than not the CPU is hogging the vram, with the GPU being secondary priority
16 gb of ram is perfect for an apu
If you need more "ram" instead of vram, just set a page file
for me it is much more. The bigger screen and detachable controllers were huge and i never thought i would need it.i use it more than my series x and pc
damn this is literally the most informative video of this device on youtube. from a to z even this 16:52 is also covered
Had mine for about a week. Honestly an incredible gaming experience, runs all I play with flying colors
The best part of this video is in the end “you may not want to use it but it’s fine because at least we have options!”
Great review. This is my favorite handheld right now.
Subscribed.
Recently bought one of these and I have to get really nit-picky to find any faults with it.. getting the big legion space update 3 days after getting it was a happy surprise as well
Hands down best damn review I've seen on the lenvo go🔥👐
Can confirm the Logitech K400 is a solid keyboard, I'm typing on mine right now from my bed.
If you know windows then you’ll be fine
Went back and played some games which have exclusive mouse support. The true strike controllers work extremely well.
I have a Legion Go and a Steamdeck My Legion Go IS BY FAR BETTER AND GAMES LOOKS AMAZING
Legion Go is 8/10 with IS enabled.
Looks sweet :D and might actually be very useable for work to - given you have an HDMI cable with you
Great Review!
hope you get sent a steam deck oled soon for review.
Just a small gripe you probably will never see but the background music under the software section is annoying. I thought a second video played in the background when I had my headset.
Just ordered one had the ally and the deck. But i relly wanted the bigger screen
Pen support?
I want to buy this as my main pc
You can use the joycons as 2 controllers. You just need to switch the mode with legion L+ Top R when they're unplugged
I just got mine and probably gonna return it. The battery life and the device is just a frustrating experience more than anything I used.
I been playing on my legion go non stop and I’m bringing it on the road cause I’m a truck driver best purchase ever
Going to buy one of these when they do a refresh or new version in a year or two.
i disagree about the ergonomics the bottoms corners dig into my hands really badly
I want one with 32gb of RAM. 16 is not enough to get the most out of this. It shares RAM with graphics which means a performance hit is going to be taken when RAM fight begins.
Never gonna happen, go by a laptop or pc

Im wondering. Can you use the True Strike Controllers also as a normal gamepad? Like on PC? Normal gamepads destroy your posture and i think that might be an improvement in comfort.

Lenovo is fixing this handheld, calm down. Updates keeps coming in
I waiting to see a review from someone with smaller hands. I tried holding the Legion Go and felt that the controllers were really awkward to hold if your hands weren't big enough. If not for that I might've just bought it
My girlfriend says the same thing.
I've been playing with half a steam controller and a gaming mouse for awhile since wasd hurts my hands. It takes a while to get used to bu is so much more comfortable.
Would 100% love to be able to rename the control schemes
Legion go is awesome. In fact, I am here just to say that, and of course, when you just want to Bash at something without reasons, then anything can be “bad”.
IMHO, LG is an amazing handheld device, a stand to play on without tiring your fingers and shoulders. A nice sized screen, detachable controllers that works seamlessly, a mouse pad, an FPS mouse mode, a hard case!!! Etc… you name it
Does it run hot ? Nah, lot cooler than Rog ally
What is bad here ?
The joy cons also aren't symmetrical in design, to be fair
I could see people wanting the True Strike controllers to use with PC, especially just the left one.
I have the 1TB legion go I would like to know the SLOT you show the micro sd card it’s for exact what purposes ?. I’m little confused I saw video people doing cloning Ssd card . Can I buy 2 TB AND plug inside that slot ?
You can upgrade the internal SSD with 2tb. Micro Center sells a 2tb version.
The micro SD card is for extra storage just like your phone.
I love this but the only hangup for me is no VRR. I feel like thats kind of a must-have for handheld gaming.
it just need a OLED screen 8.8" 144hz
and a grip included in packaging
only that to be perfect 10/10 ❤
I haven't seen anyone mention this, so maybe just a me-issue. Whenever you scrape your hands across the deskmat, there's this harsh sound that's giving me the same sensation as fingernails against a chalkboard. It makes it hard for me to concentrate on what you're saying. Had the same issue with other videos from the same filming set. Other than that, great content!
Legion display for a 8.8 inch screen is phenomenal, compared to an Oled it looks very good...for me The upgrades for the deck is not that serious compared to the LCD...Legion is way better in hardware and is more powerful then the deck
Oh I love this all this competition
At this weight and price range i don't understand why i should choose this over a 14" laptop with similar CPU. For few additional hundred bucks you can get full fledged notebook that is slightly more expensive and little bit heavier while being much more versatile
Can u pocket a laptop?
wish he’d gone a little more in detail on the binding changes he made to make apex work because if apex detects mouse and controller inputs at same time it tends to freak out (I assume due to aim assist or the weird binding blocks controller has)
Flip the FPS mode switch, and that’s it.
