    It’s so hard to live with. Anyone who has not experienced it will never truly understand. You’re so right. Just when you think you can breathe they self destruct and crush everyone around them. It’s such a selfish place for the addict and they don’t realize they are effecting everyone around them, not just themselves. It’s so hard to live through it. My prayers are with you.

    Thank You, Missy❤️So well said. My son is an addict and I had to stop talking to my brothers because they dont understand what I’m going through. I was so very unsupported by them, I needed a break. However, there was one sister in law who said to me “I am so sorry you are going through this, let me pray with you❤️” I felt at that moment-no judgement, only love. I will never forget that. I will not let addiction take me down, Amen.

I fought to get him well bc I was NOT going to have my children live their lives with a father who committed suicide. This is the truth. I made it through 40 years with a spouse and 25 with a parent, addicted. The best thing was when I realized this fact . . . I am not talking or dealing with my husband , I am listening and talking to “the addiction “. And it will do ANYTHING to stay alive. My husband took a handful of pills he had stashed on Nov 1st. RIP husband. I am recovering and doing better everyday. ( I hope Joseph can find a strong sponsor and attend N.A. meetings everyday for three years). He can make it.

    I've been dealing with this for 25 years with my son. I wonder if you or viewers agree with me, maybe you could even do a video about it. I feel our young people are being intentionally poisoned with these drugs. Yes, the breeding ground is open to it based on peer pressure and trauma etc.but it's a for profit business selling drugs and intentional to disable society, also spiritual warfare.

    • @FromtheHoller
      @FromtheHoller  3 месяца назад +4

      Hey Sharon! I've said it millions of times, I fully believe they've set their sights on these "kids" or else the borders wouldn't be wide open allowing all the drugs they can carry over to make it through. It's about money, power and control. If they can control these people with the drugs then they have a whole little loyal community at their command.

      I believe our government enables poor, I.E. welfare recipients in such a fashion that the generational disease of addiction has ALMOST zero chance of dying out. I say this because my addict mother was able to take one of my siblings (likely improperly diagnosed) ADHD meds invthe 90's. She was an addict before, but it transformed with my brothers diagnosis. She and mt step father had shelves of meds that weren't needed. They only took the "fun" ones.
