On a serious note this was truly an epic adventure and I couldn't have done it without you! I've never met anyone who's down do dig up a sewer pipe, or drive a flood car across the country. I really appreciate you man. Thank you.
I wish I could’ve met you both in ms glad you guys had a safe ish trip
Randy looked like a mad man when he was pulling up in the parking spot!🤣
🔥🔥🔥
Especially with what you were going through full power!
Love watching these adventures that you and mike go on
There are friends, good friends then friends like Mike, Big Al and Randy. If you have friends of that caliber you are truly blessed indeed.
I'm 4X Vaccinated and I caught it. Wasn't that bad, just like a minor head cold and I was over it in 5 days... Stay safe and stay well....
I just got my fifth dose before Christmas to keep my family safe
Man, friends like you don't exist anymore!👏👏👏
I was reminded of John Candy and Steve Martin driving their burned out rental while I watched you drive the Cadillac with inoperable windows. It may take you a few days to thaw out!
I remember that scene 😅😅😅😅
I was thinking the same thing!
Not an AT trans expert but i think the water was turning to steam and making the pump cavitate due to lack of viscosity. Great adventure and keep em coming!
Big Mike... Your the man!!
The Allante is still one of the most gorgeous cars ever made if you ask me. They could reintroduce it tomorrow and it would still look fresh and modern!
Mike is a MVP for fingering out things when fixing the Cadillac and driving the Cadillac with the top down in the freezing cold and pouring down rain.🥶🌧🥇🏆
Monkey wrench mike. By far my favorite car RUclips. Down to earth and fun.
I could just wish that I had a friendship like this you 2 are the best.I love watching you both together because that is what true friends do God bless you both
Mike your a great friend ! Love these adventures you and Randy do always entertaining!
Here is hoping Randy appreciates you and all you went through driving this car back to his place. Way to go Mike!
Your a cool guy, that’s why I keep buying your merchandise! The Caddy will make it Mike.
This reminds me of Planes, Trains and Automobiles 😂. What a trip!
You’re a good friend Mike. But I love the Allante.
You Sir Are Way Above What A Normal Friend Would Do,Driving In The Rain Without Windows,The Clear Saran Wrapped Mike & Tape For Your Windows Next Road Rain Trip, Enjoyed The Adventure For Sure,Pepto Pink Caddy Transmission Made It,GM.
Mike
That was one heck of a road trip. Randy should be so lucky to have such a nice friend. He is a cool guy of course. Keep up the good work man.
Because of the water still mixed with the transmission fluid and the high speeds the transmission heated up and boiled the water which caused the overflow out of the transmission fill tube and the transmission quit working. Then when the car cooled down the transmission started working again. Keeping your speed down kept the transmission from overheating.
Awesome adventure. You guys make a good team. It would really suck driving all that way with windows down. Not only the temperature and rain , but the constant road noise would drive me crazy. Thank guys for the entertainment!
Happy Sunday everyone
🥇🏆
as someone who has had thier 3 shots and just recently recovered from it,
take care buddy it's a rough ride
I got my fifth dose before Christmas to keep my family safe
That was an AWESOME road trip video Mike! You and the Allante made it together!!!
I loved watching your POV of things! Can't wait for the next video!
You guys are more hearty than I am! I would have either pulled the door panels off and manually moved the glass into position or have made a detour to the local home depot to buy some plexiglass and duct tape to "make" me some windows. I'd also be investing in one of those cigarette lighter powered heaters! You're a good friend Mike! Karma will pay you back in the long run! Thanks for the entertainment!
Props goes out Mike, Randy, Big AL & Samcrac 👏👏👏👏🎬 for these awesome vids 👍× 4 #. Hopefully you don't get that nasty covid witch I'm going threw myself 😔. I must say Mike, you & Randy has one heck of a poker face, because you don't look worried hitting the interstate with a hurricane 🌀Cadillac & a Vett that's been Rhode hard & put away wet lol. Awesome looking rides from my end 🚘🔥🔥💯. Salute guys 😎
Mikey you are true good friend. No top no heat in 40 degree weather. Your better then me.
Love the Traveling music Mr Brooks!! 😀
Hey Mike you look so cool driving that red Cadillac, great video.😁😁👍👍
This was an awesome journey!! I am glad you two made it ok!!
Mike, you knocked this out of the park buddy, great job..
*Fingers crossed* they will do something like this again. Keep on going Mike!
Mike, this car is perfect for you - classy. You should snatch it from Randy !
You two are awesome, I do look forward to your escapades. What a result with both cars, more videos 😅
And I hear that he gives popcorn with the C7
That was a epic trip and you an randy are awesome an even with him getting sick he still came through and delivered the great content so yall deserve positive vibe and all blessings to yall
Watched Fab Rats yellow boat that had been under water for 30 years and they got it running, so good look with keeping it running,
I love your channel Mike! Of course I am also subscribed to Auto Auction Rebuilds as well. I love to see you and Randy when you do videos together.
Good Video Mike I Hope You Didn't Get Sick Driving In The Cold& Rain I Love The Road Trip Videos Very Entertaining Have A Good Day Mike
A really amazing trip, well, with a happy ending. Mike, you and Randy you are a lot cooler than samcrac, you really are. Never stop making content
Thanks for the video I enjoy watching these road trips I would have gotten those windows up one way or another if I would have to tape them up
Great Buddy video Mike. Now I'll take some time and see what Randy posted.
Randy is white as snow in this vid hope he's better now you all are cool af for these vids
Hmmmmm. An issue you say? 100mph in a flooded car what could possibly go wrong???
That is a very attractive car, l like 👍
It’s quite a beautiful Red ❤
Mike, steadily your subscriber numbers are rising. Now allmost 40.000. Not too shabby.
Great Adventure
Amazing Video 🔥🔥🔥
Mike, When I saw you in that hat and convertible all that comes to mind is, "Planes, Trains, and Automobiles". When they get pulled over near the end by the cop, Neil (Steve Martin) was dressed a bit like you. (They could not put the top on their car.) They had a small fire. Ok, back to your video and see if you guys can make it. Cheers, from Wichita.
Good luck buddy be safe an warm
Well done Mike you sure have some patience and stamina really good video I never thought you would make it but you proved me wrong
I would of had to get those tops on and windows up before i left. It's winter ! 😄 12v heater too. Cold temps lowers your immune systems ability to fight off viruses, mom was right...
Your a good guy brotha driving In those weather conditions I wouldn’t do it lol I enjoy you and randy doing these type of trips minus the issues you guys came across hope to see more keep safe buddy cheers
Ive owned 2 Allantes. Absolutely miserable to keep everything working but god I loved those cars.
Thank you for doing your POV! Love it Mike huge credit to you Randy going through and big Al! You deserve so much credit to you too! Great job hall! Love these videos! Hope you get into more mainstream cars like these after working on this I think you’d be better with these cars!
All and all it’s a great trip , Mike 😂😂😂
Awsome adventure guys👌😎🔥
Why didn't you go to a Jiffy Lube in Tampa and have the transmission oil and filter changed before you drove home? Cheap dollars vs unknown damage dollars.
No hate, They changed them both at Big Al’s before leaving. It’s not in this video obviously, it was earlier in one of Randy’s videos. I probably would have done another flush after it overheated but irregardless, they made it home!
Really good video Mike
Just keep trucking!
👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Poor Randy. Been there. And other news why do I want an Allante now? 😂
So glad you and Randy made it back OK 😎😎👍👍
Had a recently deceased friend who had a 91,he bought out of Florida, paid around 20k
Dude you are a trooper
Your brave going threw jackson at night with top down people have got killed for less
Love the content!
Another great road trip! Wish you guys spent more time in Tampa, you were just down the road from me at the AC hotel. If you guys had a power probe, the windows might go up if you pop out the window switch, and send power directly to the motor. Not sure if you guys tried that, but it was painful to watch you freezing and wet .
Married with Children S5e6
Kelly bounces back.
Features the same red Cadillac.
Alr time to watch this 💯
My husband is vaccinated but he got Covid. But thankfully all he really got was one heck of a cough. And I thought I got it cause I am just getting over being sick but I just had a sinus drain thing. Which sounds like what you might have. My mom suggested some nasel spray which helped. So that might be something to look into Mike.
Boy you guys get in some stuff. Mike glad you made in Ruby Red Dress is a mess.
Name her Alice. Because you wonder if she will continue to make it in this wonderful land. 😆 🤣 😂
SO FUNNY MIKE
Love these videos man.
🙉 Looks were the car but also you driving it in the 🧊🥶 with the Top down.
Great video Mike. Did you guys take the door panels off and try to bypass the switch to make the windows go up? Also you could have went to a Tractor Supply or Harbor Freight and gotten a 12 volt heater. Great job getting them both home.
Cool,u should show a map of ur route of travel,be interesting
Great idea!!
This has planes, trains and automobile's written all over it. 😆
I have a feeling you wont be buying a convertible for awhile...Every car you look at will have to have working windows and heat lol...Good Video!
I would’ve took the door panels off an pulled windows up
Mike you are styling and profiling with the jacket the hat !
LOVE LOVE LOVE
Remember JR Ewing had an Allante on Dallas for a while. I don’t recall him having a mad bomber hat tho. 😂
24:00 coming through 😂😂😂
Man you took a shower on that red Alante lol man what a Journey, that digital display cluster looks awesome would love to see it at night, it's a Nice car looks great. That third stop light is cool 👍 Nice video
Like the longer videos also
that Allante could be a nice car if Randy gets all of those issues fixed and it is a low mileage car.
Should have tried the top prior to leaving lol 😆
No hate, the top actually works perfectly. However the side windows are “stuck” down. They certainly should have ran a bypass wire to the window motor when at Big Al’s
Mike, tell Randy the call of the Cadillac Ariel the mermaid - because it was under the sea 😂
Was it really less cold feeling with the top down? Very impressive trip yall did.
👍
Was nice to see this trip from Mike's perspective. Wonder if you could not try to put the windows up ? (not fix, just put them up)
Tell Sir Randy to check the oil filter and in Atlanta car also check and oil mixing and radiator or not or it's just a transmission
Watch that cough Mike!! Could be getting the VID!!!
Hey Mike, Could the door panels come off so you could put power directly to the window motors to put them up or would that not have worked?
Yeah but we didn’t bring any tools…
If it was me, I would have taped clear plastic over the open windows and bought a portable heater.
Otherwise, the “adventure” was very entertaining.
13:34 it’s true 😂
Mike did you leave the tag on the coat so you could return it later? lol
I had no idea the tag was still on… lol
Sam is a good guy
Call her Miss allante
It’s like that car was taunting you. All the features you didn’t really need worked (like soft close trunk), but NOTHING for comfort to survive the cold (like windows and top or heat). I don’t know how you did it! Not many people have friends like you!
