- Rags, amusic-infused modern-day fairy tale debuting this spring. The two-hour original TV movie centers on Charlie Prince (Max Schneider), an orphan living with his acerbic and unloving stepfather and spoiled stepbrothers, whose dream of being a singer might come true once he meets pop star Kadee Worth (KeKe Palmer). Rags is executive produced by Nick Cannon, directed by Billy Woodruff (Beauty Shop, Honey) and features original music by Rodney Jerkins and choreography by Rosero McCoy (America's Best Dance Crew)

Rags is my favourite Nickelodeon movie of all time in Nickelodeon history! It has helped me a lot to pursue my dreams and to become the singer, dancer, songwriter, actor and rapper I've always wanted to become. Every time when I feel like giving up, when students at school continuously try to make me give up, When students try to laugh at me, my dreams and when they try to make me feel uncomfortable and create arguments that involve me for no reason, I always listen and watch this movie. This movie tells me to never give up. And I'm just like Charlie. I always try to pursue my dreams to make them become a reality, but sadly... it's always unknown. People stab him and me behind our backs, but we keep running towards our destiny. Charlie is my favourite character in the movie and he has motivated me of pursuing and becoming my dreams. Kaydee is my 2nd favourite character and I love her a LOT in the movie and I have a lot in common with her. She's trying to be herself but the record labels don't want her to. Negative people I know always try to brainwash me to act, play, behave and be like them, but it's never going to happen. my favourite song in Nickelodeon is Someday because it motivated me to become who I always desired to be. And that's why it's my favourite Nickelodeon movie.... and maybe could my favourite movie EVER! So let's run for our destiny together. honest thought this was a fever dream
I had just seen a full version of this movie in my suggested and Max's face was the thumbnail and I was so very confused. Like, "Since when did Max act in a movie and why did I not know about it?" So I searched it (on RUclips still), noticed there were clips and thumbnails of songs and videos with Keke Palmer and realized this was starting to feel familiar, and vaguely started to remember this. "A Nickelodeon movie? Now that I see Keke it's starting to seem more familiar..."
So I looked for the trailer and NOW I finally remember! I never actually got to watch the movie, but I remember seeing the commercials and being so excited to hopefully catch this on TV at some point when it came out! The wondrous Keke Palmer, Nick Cannon from AGT, Drake, and Max (who I had found and grown to love from his videos with KHS and Sam by that point)? And we get to hear Keke and Max sing? Heck yeah.
Man, I should really find some time to watch this soon. It doesn't seem painfully cringey like some of the other movies that came out on Nickelodeon and Disney were at the time, especially judging by all the comments here. I'm excited for this.
