As always ... great video; the technical quality doesn't really matter to me. I appreciate the thorough walk-through of your available trailer's features. Love love LOVE! the idea! of a trailer that has enough solar to run the air conditioning, straight from the manufacturer. But, it's like they had one great idea and they couldn't be bothered to do anything else....... Why in the world did they take out the propane completely? Very strange place for the microwave; I wouldn't want to have to Bend in half or get on my knees to access it. Could have made the food Storage a lot more accessible with some pull out racks... What was behind the television that they didn't have additional storage behind it? Very very little counter space on this trailer with no flip extender or additional table(s) for the couch. Where's the space to set up the coffee pot? I have an induction range-top at home; they are great, but I wouldn't want to try to keep one clean while camping. With so little exterior storage, you would think that they would make the bottom bunk to fold and you can at least load things for while you're traveling in the bottom bunk space. Very very little clothes storage space, especially for four people. There's lots of other small things that I don't really like but I think the thing I like about it at least is... there's no sink in the bathroom. So great idea, but trailer needs a lot of improvement.
Nice review. I give credit to Palomino, this is certainly different. Unfortunately, there are so many livability issues with this trailer I find it a no go. Also the lack of outside storage is a real issue for me. If you are going to charge lithium style batteries from your tow vehicle with that Anderson plug cord provided, I would really want to take a good look at the engineering of that setup. Lithium batteries have a very low internal resistance which can present a real issue for most automotive alternators. You can put such a load on the alternator you will burn it out. Automotive alternators were only really designed for the most part to charge the tow vehicle starting batteries, not an entire bank of lithium batteries. Proceed with caution!
Backwards-good video, iffy camper. That bed is awkward, the dinette is awkward, the ceiling fans are odd, that bathroom is barely usable... I love your insights into campers-I’m a short woman, so seeing a fellow short woman going through them is great!-but even you had trouble spinning this as good.
I always appreciate your walk throughs, not afraid to point out some mistakes by the builder. This trailer is all about the technology, compromises have to be made mostly in storage space it seems. The front bed does seem odd, but you gain the openness and natural light from the front window.
I actually like this murphy bed design because the front window isn't covered by the bed during the day. And I always enjoy your walk thru videos btw. I was sold on the Geo Pro murphy bed model until I saw this unit. The all solar is great for Boondockers and is what swayed me.
Nice camper! Compared to the last review....$30;000 makes a lot more sense here! Only negative for me--Too bad they didn’t add in a toy hauler hatch to make the bunks an option to remove/replace or convert to flip up.
I wish more manufacturers would create totally off grid models for boondocking. Depending on where you camp - you can get a propane tank, extension hose and hook up a camp stove outside and a wave heater inside for heat if you camp in colder climates. Are they going to put vents in area for the batteries/inverter compartment?
The video is not bad,I’m not a fan of the odd way you have to pull the sofa and reach way over to get the matteress every night. The microwave should be up top. The fire place takes up valuable real estate for storage..the trailer not too bad but needs to be better throughout I prefer a lance 19 camper. Nice fridg, good to see a porcelain toilet.
I bought this trailer, I agree the bed is awkward, i am 5ft 4in and like the dinet bed better. We are actually considering taking out the sofa and reorienting the bed, this would involve some interior work but it is my trailer I can do what I want. My husband loves the tech which is why we have this.
I see several drawbacks. But it would be possible to overcome all but one. I camp in the mountains. Even during the summer, it gets cool at night. I do not see anyway that heat would be enough.
This unit is a little bit nicer version of a Geo pro or an April except it’s all electric good design though maybe a 5000 W inverter would put it over the top as far as power
I like the trailer! Not sure about the bed but can’t knock it till I’ve tried it. Being taller it might not be as awkward to pull out as it would be easier to reach. I would suggest a Sofa in place of dinette and then a regular queen bed or perhaps a Murphy bed. Could this be ordered without the microwave? This would give you more storage in the kitchen. I cook outside when I’m camping so don’t really need the microwave. Just think how handy it would be to have this trailer when a storm rolls through and you have no power for days or weeks! Clint don’t beat yourself up to much. I’m in awe of your camera work and editing! You and PJ make a great team!
WOW! This is a great concept. Good try Sorry, but 4 to 6 hours of A/C is a no go for boon docking. You will need to add propane for heat. Trust me on this one, heating an RV on batteries will never work.
Only 4 hours for A/C in the south in the summer. No way! You cannot comfortably sleep. And to add insult to injury, when you get up there is no power to cook. What were they thinking?
Very nicely done video with lots of detailed information. I have to say I find this trailer very intriguing. I never thought about a 12V ONLY trailer. The power draw would be a concern, but the big ticket item is the fridge (who boondocks with a/c?), and 12V would be efficient. 600W (400W on the trailer + 200W portable) is a huge amount for a trailer this size! Wonder if you could add an additional two batteries? (600 amp hours of lithium would be incredible.) Regarding the cost, guess most folks haven't priced out a solar system of this size. Thanks again.
What is the issue with propane? My wife and I have a 3 year old Coachmen Freedom Express that we outfitted with solar and it works great partly because we heat with propane. Our fridge is propane as well but we could go compressor DC if we want to replace what the trailer came with.
I love this, but I'm wondering if my cat can accidentally turn on the stove? I know you mentioned something about safety, but I didn't hear it and captioning didn't catch it either.
@@smiffy8364 I keep telling her she would be better off without me but she just won't leave..I offered her 80% of everything but she wants it all..if she lets me keep the new trailer and truck I am going to make the deal.. sounds like she is a lot like you.. maybe you all should get together..she will have the house and 200 acres and over one million dollars..I think you all would be happy together 🤔🤗🍺🍻😁
Hey Mr. Spahn! Lindsay is off on Mondays, and that Revolve trailer went home with its new owner on Friday. We don’t have another to see at the moment. Check with Lindsay on Tuesday to see when our next Revolve is expected to arrive!
I had to look at it again and I noticed that as much as I like it, it doesn't have a bathroom sink. And I don't want the microwave on the floor. And I'm guessing wink propane, there's no exterior grill package?
If they would graphene ( if I spelled that correct) batteries, its a new technology, the battery charges quicker and longer lasting. They will put that into new ones electric cars and all electric campers, it will have manny applications.
Let’s be blunt, that bed is what happens when you have your friends over and design a Murphy Bed after many beers and only sharpies and cocktail napkins to work with. Emphasis on the “MANY beers.”
There is, however, a possibility Clint is capable of messing up a good PJ video by not working the equipment well. Unfortunately.... that’s the case in this instance. I’ll learn from it.
Love lith no prop; finally! But what man put the microwave that low-put it in the overhead over the cooktop and give back some drawers for kitchen utensils, etc; on EV 3 and 4- corner the shower to insert a tiny stainless sink to match the cabinet handles; put some better color fabric on the bunk beds- why is the fireplace so high? Feels strange-no carpet under dinettes that’s a big nono with kids-designers refine these items and give flooring choices and you will really have sales; need to have promoted bigtime-no one else compares-3,000 converter ahead of its time for the price-I had to do an internet hunt to come across this trailer discovery-ty for tour. Teacher in TX
I walked-thru the EV1 model. That murphy bed couch is odd and not easy like murphies are _supposed_ to be. Like folks said, Palomino did it this way to let in light from that front window. Geo Pro and Winnebago lose the front window but do the murphy bed right. I wasn't impressed with Revolve EV1 build quality. Tiny roof fans instead of Fantastic, MDF/plywood cabinetry instead of wood, etc. But hey, it's only $30k! No RV maker gives you FOUR LiOn batts + 400W solar array for that price!! Also Renogy instead of the more common GoPower in RVs, and I'd go with Renogy anyday. I wish Lance or Winnebago would make an all-electric! It's 2021, come on!
As always, a great review. The trailer tho is just not right for me. Gimmicky fireplace? Yuck. Sofa bed is too weird. No kitchen drawers...just seems poorly thought out to me

It's like my Geo Pro but from someone's nightmare. Nice compressor fridge and optional solar/lithium. Everything else? Horrible ideas. Get on your knees to microwave! Struggle with that fake murphy bed! Yes! The fireplace ALWAYS gets installed at chest height! I could go on.
Not practical with that bed set up. Also, if the manufacturer made this with the “off the grid mind set” well, is missing the fact that off the grid could be in some terrain where an off road coupler will be better and timbren axel become handy!

Can a single person sleep in the folded mattress without opening the couch?
That’s probably doable, depending on the size of the person and what comfort level they can put up with.
