If you use nail glue, the trick is using only a tiny bit and making sure you have good all over surface to surface contact. Putting a large flat back on a curved surface requires an adhesive that will fill the gap. Nail glue is too fluid for that. Also, always turn your ails over when curing gel glue to make sure it cures completely. Also I rotate my fingers so the light hits the sides of the stones as well.
Hey Val!!! When children would come into the ER with crazy glue or nail glue accidents, we use Vaseline to safely remove the glue. You don’t have to use acetone to remove the glue.
Hey! I make press-ons as well. When I use bigger stones, I glue them to the nail first and then I float the gel around it to secure it as well. That way has worked very well for me. Thanks for this video!

Yessss I agree with everything you said about the Makartt gel glue. Now I know I’m not crazy lol. It has definitely started giving me problems lately. Customers have been complaining about their stones falling off and that never used to happen when I first started using it. It’s definitely a more lose/runny consistency now too. I’m going to purchase Zulay’s glue though. Thanks for the video 💕
I've bought the zulay glue twice , first time worked the same as super glue. Second time the glue came damaged and already hardened and she basically said there was nothing she could do. Buyer beware the quality is not always consistent and customer service kind of sucks.
If I'm setting larger stones, I use my e file and form a groove into the nail. I set it into clear acrylic and then seal it with clear gel topcoat by makkart.
That’s what I use is the Zulay glue a lot of people put it on incorrectly or not enough glue because it does dry kinda fast, you should use the Mia secret aviator or the hurry up spray with this glue I also used different glues to test and it was the Zulay glue was the last one standing!!!! Great video ✌️

Dip #2 works really good for rhinestones too, i rarely have a problem with it falling off, seems like thats what zulay is using. You just dont wanna get the glue anywhere on the top of the diamond bcuz it will fog up the rhinestones
What a great idea to do each nail using a different glue ! I think other factors come into play like which finger is most dominant and which one you use the most as far as if any fall off. I just recently bought the makartt gel from Amazon so ill test it out but I think with bigger crystals u need a chemical adhesion from glue and then go around the perimeter using gel. I literally just gorilla glue gel and top coat to go around. I believe Mia Secret nail glue resin, may be the same/similar as Zulay. Zulays glue uses the Mia activator spray so I bought the Mia secret spray and resin glue set. Have not tried them side by side.

Hi girl ❤️ Great video and very interesting. I’ve got the old makartt one and it’s ok but that new one looks really runny and rubbish, which is a shame. OK so what if you are using press on nails that have maybe some color to it maybe some French nail tip or whatever and you want to put bling on it what is the best glue to use so the rhinestones don’t come off because I started using Rhinestone glue from beetles it’s a thick gel And then curing it with my UV lamp and it’s not working they’re scratching off easily so that you can pop them off just by putting pressure on them just to take it off of the nail stand they come off . Is it because the pre-made press on nails are too glossy and shiny for the glue to stick or do I have to put a base coat before I put the Beetles rhinestone glue on? I really don’t want to have to use the spray stuff isn’t there a way to make them stick on permanently without having to go through too many procedures?
