When you tried selecting all of the patterns to update them to the new drummer in one go, you selected a pattern that had already been converted. I wonder what would happen if you'd only selected patterns that hadn't yet been converted.

I have the original iPad 2. The OLD Model A1397, 64 GB (the largest they had at the time) with an 8" x 11" viewable screen area. Is that what you're talking about? Or, are you running LP in an emulation mode on a Silicon Mac or.......?
The 2 you are hearing is only for the new version of Logic on IPad, has nothing to do with the model of iPad you are using. The Logic Pro app Won’t work on some older versions of iPad though.
Unfortunately the iPad 2 (from 2011) does it run the latest versions of iPadOS, GarageBand or Logic Pro. If you have the original GarageBand for iPad on there you can have some fun with the old version though! 👍😎
@@PeteJohnsMusic Yeah - got it loaded and it's cool for experimenting and "accidentally" writing new song parts. For spontaneous, on-the-go or not wanting to fire-up the big computer. Thnx for the inspiration!
