that's incredible! how does this not have more views? i wanted to do this effect for a death stranding inspired scene and you are one of the only explainaing it perfectly!
What were your settings to get the reflections to become so smooth. My "water pools" reflect very fuzzy and clouded and haven't been able to figure out how to fix. Great video! Fast but detailed!
Yo bro! 😎🖤 i tried two options... Ur better than max. Becouse ur options have very very many difirend options. Procedurial material but max have only one texture 🤣
Image textures definitely have their place! Procedural materials are more versatile in some ways, but less art directable generally. Max does amazing things with his. This is just an alternative option.
@@jbrashfx in the same version of yours, you can also add a rahnes map and albedo here too, and you can mix it too. just tried it and it turned out great
if you're using blender 3.4+ (idk how this applies to 2.8>) go to materials tab, scroll down to settings, and then surface. you might have to have your settings on cycles and experimental for this to work tho

مذهل يا رجل
Dope man, love how simple the setup was. I'd recommend using adaptive sub d, that could save a lot of render time.
Osm video ❤
great video! I was wondering if there is any way to download your blender theme?
do you have tips if I've already subdivided the plane and applied scale, in cycles view, and the plane remains flat when using the nodes you've used?
nice bro
Glad you enjoyed!
Nice video man.
PS Can you share your theme 😂

I believe that’d just be the roughness value?

@@jbrashfx What Max does is cool, that's for sure. but you can always learn something new
Yo bro ! i can show you the render result
How to scale this up without ruining the effect
It’s procedural? As long as you’re using a procedural texture it should be infinitely scalable
@@jbrashfx yeah I figured it out. thanks for the reply tho
I have no idea where to find displacement and bump and I went through the material settings as instructed?

i cant get it to shine
The emission you mean? That’s just done with emission & a volumetric environment
@@jbrashfx do the plane that is white i cant get that to shine on the ground even if i have 1000 emission it dont shine on ground
Video scap my système blender
